Right, but Blade could only combo in the corner, and that was tough unless you were close, Easy to combo in the corner on CH though, midscreen it could only combo with a rapid cancel, and that may not be possible anymore if 5D has more startup(I think I remember seeing that change in one loketest).

  9. That kind of thing is hard to test without viewing the hitboxes. We will probably have to wait until release to find out exactly what they did to them.
  10. True, Noel may find it hard to get out of shit, but she still has Drive, which isn't a true reversal, but it will still be better than nothing.
  11. But its going to rape Arakune isn't it? Sure he gets better pressure, but he is going to have the worst time escaping without meter. Making 5B/5C Air Unblockable, and nerfing IB advantage, it seems like its just a counter measure against 8k Arakune combos(Basically make it that much harder to curse, by preventing escape from an aggressive player). I can't say it bothers me too much though, Noel's blockstrings can be poked out of on normal block, and the IB nerf would probably make it EASIER to drive through shit on IB.
  12. Pretty sure the blockstring needs to have no real gaps in order for th auto IB to take effect, so I think that even if the attack is -2 it resets the count for auto IB, I'm not positive on this one though.

  14. I hear ya man, but 3C barely went under anything in CS1, it was strictly for punishment, or else you got bodied for using it. They said they were buffing her normals, so hopefully they include 3C.

  17. Cool, updating Noel's thread. The biggest bummer about this is no more 100 heat B+C > Thor > Fenrir combos. No more RAMBO COMBO ;-;
  18. Is that similar to how Lambda's 5C operates now? It will all combo on an airborne opponent?
  19. Gotcha, well there's still hope though, because as I said before, grab > command grab is 4 hits of proration hell, just one grab in the corner is still not as much proration, so I wont freak out just yet.
  20. Since her throw is just uncancellable, that means proration isn't the issue at hand. If proration was the problem, then even corner combos off of her throw would be terrible, but since that's not the case, we can still get a good payoff in the corner.
  21. If this is the case it's less of a nerf than I thought. It means no midscreen combos, but corner combos are still possible.

I'm not too worried about this one, plus trying to trick your opponent to eat a command grab after teching normal grab is risky, this is america, they will either crouch and punish us, or be mashing 5A and hit us out of Muzzle Filter, though certain opponents may not catch us with 5A, now that I think about it this may be a half way decent strategy.
  24. I heard they were making her throws have higher proration, so Grab > Command grab, is probably the highest prorated combo in her arsenal now. I'm thinking: B+C > 214A > 2B > 6C > j236C will probably be the best she can do, unless they tech after 2B which would make an easy tech trap.
