Sirlin couldn't speak the truth if he was telling you what time it was. Storm was a god tier. That makes me not want her back. As an X-Men, I actually like her, but as a game character...just, no. Add Magma or something. Or add someone else not an X-Men to not see too many of them running around. Hell no. Psylocke ok, Storm no, Sigma would be different but likely as badly broken as Sentinel.

I never got to play AH2, played Konoha in AH1. I'll probably keep her and pick up Zenia. I'm sure a lot changed from 1 to 3, so i'll have to play around, might find someone who I didn't like before that I now love, or one of the new characters that appeal.

Moreso talking about it being lame that they re-use a character. Also, had to put this Strider I can agree with, CapCom can stay out though. As for me being terrible, i've actually already played Reptar before and had a nice little conversation about the match, where there was definitely no "you suck", and while I admit he won the match, he mentioned that I did quite well for a Makoto vs Litchi match. No unsportsmanlike conduct there, and a compliment on how well I was doing, pretty much says "doesn't suck and isn't a scrub".

StarForce is the only one i'd really hate. I'd hate to see Volnutt, but that's just because it's lame to copy/paste characters from one game to another.

I generally don't even try to go for throws in the first place. If they can block overheads, next best thing is either crossups (iffy on this one), or baiting them into doing something and then punishing them.

I've played plenty. Even though it had balance issues, I feel the best SF game is Third Strike, even though i'm not a huge fan of SF. I still think one of the best fighters ever is Garou. You can't "talk sense into me" when you're not making any yourself and not saying anything. It would be nice if MVC3 was the perfect game, sure, but I don't expect it to be, I don't even expect it to be a great game, because I can't enjoy brokenness. I take everything serious because there's no point in messing around, there's no reason to play around or make jokes. Those are things to be left behind when you grow up and become an adult. Everyone can have their own opinions all they want, but when it is negative towards me, or against characters I like (such as "OMG TALBAIN SUCKS ONLY FURRIES LIKE HIM HE SUCKS HE'LL NEVER BE IN ANOTHER GAME AGAIN SUCK IT LOSER!"), hell yes i'm going to respond. And anyone resorting to cowardice or using a crutch is horrible and a low-life, that's all there is to it. Cowardice is to be hated, not tolerated. It's an MVC game. There will be broken shit.

High range of viability is good, but they should all be good at something without entering "Broken" or "Cheap" range. Some characters will naturally be better than others, but there should never be hopeless matches, and there shouldn't be a huge differential between the top and bottom of the list. If everything is broken, everything is broken. It's not magically balanced because it's broken to hell, it's just that everything is broken. Being broken, even if everything is broken, is wrong.

Right, online is fine, but in high level play, she's hosed without that parry loop. As for Dormammu, from what i've heard, even though he does a lot of damage, he's not overpowered because he's slow, his moves are glitched where they appear offscreen, and he doesn't link well. I kinda figured Trish would be broken, or at least really good, because of her trap-laying game.

All characters should be viable at high level, you're right. I don't think there should be completely hopeless matches, though there will always be advantages and disadvantages. I devoted my time to Makoto in BBCS, and while she's ok, without her parry loop, she's screwed. Or like in MVC2, I played Spiderman/Strider/Hayato, had to really really work to barely squeak out a win on the god tiers. And that's cool and all, just still not a fan of guys calling me cute.

And yet you ask for more godlikes.. Maybe, I can understand a good player will generally win regardless of character (unless it's just something HORRIFICALLY broken like the gun guy in Bushido Blade). Fighting people that use top tiers are annoying, even if I win, because they had to resort to that. Model? No. It's just that you look like a total homo and I don't want you calling me cute, i'm not that way.

No, I want a game where characters have, if not the same exact amount of options, as close as possible to it. The less god tiers, the better. As for superior players, I can't say I myself am, but I can guarantee you that there are plenty out there better than you, and wishing for more top tiers is just a crutch for you to fight such players. I don't want anyone looking like the guys in your avatar calling anything I say or do "cute" though, that's something to scar someone for life.
