How lame, to actually ASK for top tier characters. I hate people like you, the ones that WANT top tiers just so they have characters to use as a crutch so they can stand up to far superior players.

I am assuming you're being sarcastic. But yeah, the gameplay looks fun and all, and I do kinda want to get it because it pretty cool looking, Amaterasu is in (TVC annoyed me with Yami and no Ammy, no Puffy Ami Yumi jokes please) and looks pretty cool, and I do like the DMC games (hesitant to call them DMC ever since the travesty of the new game) and like Dante (though I know he'll be broken to all hell), so it's got appeal to me, it's just very annoying Talbain won't be in, and I know it'll be as broken, or moreso, than MVC2. Deadpool looks fun, was never for or against him before, but his gameplay looks really fun. Really, all of the characters (barring X-23, Tron, Ryu/Morrigan, and Chun-Li) look fun. Also, though it's a bit embarrassing to mention, I love fire and fire elements, so the characters using fire automatically have a high level of interest to me.

3C allows her to get in on fireball spam, sure, but all most characters need to do is just low poke at that point. I'm not 100%, but I think Hakumen's 4C takes her out of it. She's got OK speed, but when she actually tries to get in, almost anything can beat a Makoto on the approach unless she uses 2D. None of her command dashes or followups have invincibility, making the one where she goes behind you useless since you just get jab spammed. And most character have a wide range move that takes out all 3 areas her dash goes at once, which eliminates the "mindgame" of her dash since you can just hit all 3 to be safe. I've heard her j.B is good, but i've been punished for trying to come in with it plenty of times too. Her range is horrible, and the only way of getting around projectile spam is 3C spam, which they can just throw a projectile, then jump and throw another at an angle, and the best you can do is block it. And Hakumen can punish her projectile for free because she takes a while to launch it, so he just does the seal when she tries, free damage to Makoto for Hakumen. I think Hakumen, and the heavy zoning characters, just get Makoto for free.

Maybe, but with that game, I HAVE to be playing for shits and giggles, and be completely relaxed, taking everything with a grain of salt. If I put even a little caring into that game, the sheer brokenness will make me rage like none other.

Play SNK games if you want mobile grapplers like Shermie or Hinako or Ramon or Blue Mary.

I am curious about Ammy, I like her having a switch between reflector -> beads -> glaive, and i'm sure it changes her normals, I just wonder if she has any specific specials for them as well.

Yeah, that's his dive DD. Does it count as overhead on crouching opponent? (not that you'd want to use it outside of a combo)

I dunno if it was asked yet, but, what are the properties of j.236236C? As in, can you block it? Or if blocked, will it still go into the wolf dash?

MvC2 was fun? Must have missed it during all the god tiers, infinites, assist spamming, and floating at the top of the screen. I liked MVC3 far more when it was looking to build on TVC, not MVC2.

Every one of Jedah's moves other than his spinning sawblade and the decapitation counter is a command throw. As for my explanations on how Talbain isn't generic or boring, I didn't do so in that post, but i've done so plenty before. lolwut at Talbain being homo though. Counter moves aren't original, the only difference was the visual on his own, it didn't function differently than any other counter.

Jedah is basically a grappler with a projectile and the ability to fly, but nothing about him or any of his moves are original or cool whatsoever. I've explained time and time again, countless times, how Talbain is NOT generic and boring, and if people STILL want to make this argument on me after explaining in thorough detail to the contrary, well, seems like I might have to beat it into some of them.

Don't you EVER call anyone a child after editing someone's words TWICE! Talbain's very cool and fun to use, and I use far more than just his fireball dashing move. And you can definitely make things interesting and flashy, though balanced is definitely worth the sacrifice of flashiness. But hey, go use your girly-looking fucking queer Jedah, who's infinitely lamer than any character of Darkstalkers, especially Talbain. Hsien-ko for like, what, the fourth time? Meanwhile Talbain has NEVER made a playable crossover appearance? Victor hasn't either, so I can't contend that one as hard because it'd be nice to see the characters who haven't appeared in a crossover yet make a debut, but Talbain will always be #1 to me. And Talbain's not fucking generic in any way, shape, or form, to even remotely think such a thing as Talbain being generic or boring is horrible. I'd love to beat the shit out of you just for saying that.

But she IS as boring as Ryu and Ken. As for ANYTHING she has, had, or ever will have being > than Talbain, lol no. Talbain is in no way, shape, or form boring. As much as I hate it, Morrigan's here to stay in crossovers, but remove that stupid bitch Felicia and put Talbain in. There are no characters, Darkstalkers or otherwise, greater than Talbain.

That's the only reason anyone likes those characters anyway. Replace Felicia with Talbain, and Morrigan with...whoever from the DS series you want since I won't give a fuck since i'll have Talbain, and i'd call that one even.

Being totally fair, BOF3 was ported to PSP in Japan and Europe 2 years after Dragon Quarter, they just didn't bother to port it to America for some reason.

I hate Axl, and Zero was in TVC so he's easy to fix up and port over. Axl's a little queer anyway, nobody likes him. Then again, i'll take any and all Megaman characters over seeing Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Dan, Sakura, Gouken, and Chun-Li all in MVC3. I hate SF over-representation, since most of the cast is pretty damn bland, and they could use those slots for far more interesting characters (say, from Darkstalkers or Red Earth)
