Maybe, but clone character is pretty bullshit. Even though aside from the 4 I mentioned disliking, I find the roster decent, there are few AMAZING standouts. At this current moment, if I got the game and this were the final roster, i'd be maining Amaterasu/Deadpool/Dante, because those 3 are the only ones that make me go "Wow, I want to play that character!", whereas the rest are either tolerable or decent.

Is there a tier list for this?

Oh, i'm not worried about my favorites getting in, Capcom never gives me my favorites, i'd just like them to change it up a bit. No clones, no over-represented series, few if any repeat characters, etc.

If I was picking between either, sure, that I can understand, but one or the other. Not both.

Even more reason to hate her. I was referring to his TVC appearance, which is rather set in stone. I didn't realize people were so stupid I had to put "IMO" on everything that is opinion. I never cared for Legends at all, and Tron was just a very boring, unlikable character, who only had fans in MVC2 due to cheap bullshit assist drill. I'm a very curious person, I have to know who's being included, regardless of whether I purchase it or not.

Good for you, that's not my problem. The problem I have is lazy devs making clones like X-23, and making fail roster choices like Tron.

Plays nothing like him? In terms of specials, the only difference between them was their supers and her backflip, and she even had Weapon X, so that's only 2 supers. She even got his old divekick. The only way they'd play differently is depending on what her normals are.

Unwarranted? We already have Wolverine, we don't need a clone of him! I hate any sort of wasted character spot, and a clone is a wasted character spot. If they wanted to use a female X-men character, why not Phoenix, Emma Frost, or even Magma would have been cool, but nooooo.

No, really, she's not. She's one of the few roster additions I hate, the others being Tron Bonne (that damn drill spam), Viewtiful Joe (took way too many hits to deal only average damage), and Felicia (taking a Darkstalkers spot from cool characters from her series like Talbain or Donovan, when the only reason anyone likes Felicia is because she's mostly naked, anyone saying otherwise is lying to try to not seem like a perv).

I was kinda hoping for Jean Grey or Ms. Marvel, or really any Marvel female not named Storm or She-Hulk, as opposed to Emo Wolverine With Boobs.

Strider confirmation would be awesome. MVC2 team was Spiderman/Strider/Hayato. From the confirmed cast at least, my team sits at Amaterasu/Dante/Deadpool, though honestly, my dream team would be Jon Talbain/Vergil/Date Masamune.

I don't honestly care. Wolverine is only ok to me. Ripoff Wolverine is a stupid decision. I hope they can differentiate AT LEAST as well as they did with the 2 Tekkaman characters in TVC (maybe sharing a move, maybe 2, but the rest are different, and the ones they share aren't the same either).

Nice, Yang confirmed. I noticed a lack of mention for his dive kick, rolling kick, flip throw, and palm thrust. I really hope they didn't remove them, that would destroy Yang. Otherwise, sounds good to me.

I don't know about him zoning. Having better reach and more damage just gives you room to make some strong combos, but he doesn't seem like the keep-away type at all, he seems like he wants to be on you at all times, just, at about mid range.
