Well, I tried that jump airgrab after a Ragna's jump cancel. It performed better than expected. Still need more tests, though, but the first experiment is making the future look brighter. How's your 5A on their jump cancel holding up, assuming you've tried it? Also, have you pre-ordered your Halo: Reach yet?

Well, my idea was that if they're using jump-cancelable moves like 3C or 6A, I planned on committing to ready myself to jump and air grab them. Doesn't sound solid to me, since I never tried it. Ragnas are getting pretty scarce whenever I go onto netplay, so testing anything out on them is highly unlikely. I like the sound of using 5A, though. Then again, if I wanted to 5A someone, I'd just pick Bang. Only character that doesn't make me feel like a masher when I go for the A button. :/

Well, the barrier is giving me a better time than I originally anticipated. Always nice to do a 2C after they think I'm in the air helpless. Did this on a couple of Ragnas, and I feel like I can breathe a bit easier. Still won't be satisfied until I can do this 8-9k FC combo on one of them. Edit: I think I know what my problem was all along. I've been doing research around Dustloop concerning Hakumen, and was finally able to confirmed what exactly happened to j.2C. It's slower now, as you and every other Hakumen out there already know. The problem was, despite everything I implemented from CS, I was still being an old-fashioned Hakumen.

Well, I guess your right, approaching from air is bad. Counter works just fine for me, except in the air some strange reason. While j.C has it uses against other characters I fight, Ragna just somehow seems smart to actually RUN under it, but I guess that's just me. I suppose barrier blocking isn't too bad, but I get to impatient quickly when in the air. The combos I start with tend to vary. Not sure how I can maximize damage since I don't know how. As for that 3v3... most likely, no. I'll try out the advice. Who knows, Ragna might actually expect a hit and let me get a free 2C counter combo.
