I honestly believe in my heart that this is Platinum's strongest asset. She is just fucking annoying. It takes a good day for me to not get annoyed fighting her. So when i use her, i become as fucking annoying as i manage to be. And it is hilarious. But Karma is a bitch, so it's a vicious cycle. Edit: On topic, GGs ToastyTiger, that was fun lol

^ Got em. People call it trolling, i just call it playing smart. It does not always work, but that's how the entire game is played. If you can successfully apply those kinds of bold mindgames though...like you said, you're the "pace-setter".

This is why i keep saying Heartcar (or moves LIKE heartcar) are some of the best types of moves in the game (this has nothing to do with platinum as a character though). People go "LOLNO" on reaction to that just because the move is highly punishable and scrubs spam it...but it doesn't mean anything because that describes alot of shit in the game. Heartcar is just like Tager's command grab to me. You know it's powerful, and you know it's the last thing you'd want to get hit with during a match. And as a high bonus, you'd expect scrub players to take advantage of its properties. Against certain people (even highly skilled players) this will cause them to approach you in completely different ways than if you were not expected to abuse the move. Especially since they don't wanna keep being hit by "heartcar/icecar/2D/4D/whatever spam". You can get people to work both their offense and defense around dealing with one move. Then you've got them in highly exploitable spot...well, if you know how to take advantage of this. LoL For instance, I can pick noel, gain fullscreen distance, and just start mashing random D buttons. I find it hilarious that after doing this, most higher-leveled Ragna users i do this to (alot of them much more experienced than me) will start using 5D and Inferno Divider alot more loosely during battle. I get the same effect almost consistently by using Poison Nail with bang, and then running away from them the whole match, regardless if im winning or losing. Sets me up for hilarious 3C opportunities if the character is forced to approach me to hit me. SOCIAL EXPERIMENTS Edit: think im lying? Play someone who's playstyle you know. Pick a character. Act like a scrub. Watch shit change instantly. If they're calm about it, you'll probably get blown up or be forced to stop. But if you can manage to piss them off, hilarity will ensue.

Old news. I hate Platinum with a passion until i use her. I can't play a single match without laughing myself blind fucking platinum's heartcar, the more people anticipate it, the more hilarious it is when i hit them anyway. Edit: Oh almost forgot, GGs to KOFKilla and anyone else i played today! I suck.

GGs Giilrandly. Today was just one of those days. It's always good to lol while you play every now and then. Netplay grab wars ftw. And i laughed so fucking hard at that Tager Astal attempt. I forgot to save it, but it'd go perfect in one of those "homogenius" videos or something. ThatOneAznJosh...has some very questionable disconnects.

It's probably because im on my 2-hour time-to-take-a-break-because-im-playing-on-patterns mode, but there was this Tao i was fighting that just had no regard for the fact that she has no life to afford so many counterhits. I laughed my ass off when i found out Ragna's j.B hitbox actually smacks tao while she's on her faggot 2A spam sprees.

No. Hell no. At least, if anything it's one of those "whoever gets hit first is dead" matchups. Lambda is faster than Mu in almost every way and easily shuts down her zoning. Either Mu is assfucking Lambda or Lambda is busy laughing at mu's attempts to do something. ...and i guess that makes it even. But it's never fun for me.

If ragna DPs alot and you can bait it, you can get absolutely ridiculous damage off of him using Relius' Fatal Counter, ESPECIALLY in the corner. with 100 meter a simple 6C fatal > punchball super > rapid > corner rape combo will do upwards of 7k, i THINK. Regardless, 6C > Super works anywhere.

If BB netcode sucks, then i dont know what the fuck these other games have. If you let the intro play, most laggy matches can go from highly annoying to completely bearable. It gives just about the fairest netplay experience you can get without that bullshit Rollback mechanic that's come up recently.

You can mash all you want...if it works. Use the knowedge you get from what people get hit by to your advantage when you learn new stuff. However, generally people stop mashing for 2 reasons: 1) you're getting blown up for it or 2) you realize the amount of damage potential you're pissing away by doing it. I don't think Noel is a terrible character for mash rehab, she just gets away with it more than anyone else aside from...well, maybe Ragna, if you know how. At least, it USED to feel like Noel was a character that was fun to use once you learned to really use her and not mash her drive moves. But lately, pretty much anything you get off her drive leads to ridiculous damage, so the incentive is gone. Although in CS2 her midscreen damage off random bullshit got nuked. Well luckly her Silencer loop was heavily nerfed (as in, wont go past like 1 rep) so you dont have to use it too often. But the absolute biggest part of Noel's Silencer combos are spacing. If you're too close, it'll wiff, and if you're too far, you probably wont be able to pick up the combo with another 6C. Edit: Oh, after the optic barrel? That's pretty easy. You'll just need to dash > 6C. You need to get the timing for buffering the dash so you dont clusterfuck your fingers with inputs to get it to happen right. After a while it gets pretty easy. Once you get it down, im pretty positive you wont have any issue dropping anything after optic barrel again.

Don't really care who they put in. I just hope they treat it like Tekken 6. Hopefully, the SF additions will be treated like real tekken characters (with real movesets) instead of watered-down, like SF did with T characters. Street Fighter's engine is 2D and limited in terms of moveset options, but Tekken 6 characters are much more fleshed out as characters. Everything SF builds itself upon still exists. Projectiles have been in tekken for a while, and Dragon Punches are pretty similar to Crush moves. Hopefully I'll get to see Ryu do something other than throw fireballs, dragonpunch and spin kick. But most thankfully, i'll enjoy seeing SF animations that don't only last for 12 measly frames and all come out in 5-6.
