the height before the 5c is kinda dependent on the character, i used to have the problem you're having a lot. i try to get j.D~A out as soon as possible, i also think it helps if you let taokaka drop for an extra frame or two before the first 9D~9, but that could just be in my head
-
i like back throw > 214d > 4d~b i suck at getting the 7th taunt with the 2d~b starter, so doing 4d~b with 6 taunts does more damage (for me) 4471. also 4d~b looks better
-
hey rin, you keep calling cat2 cat3 but yeah theres no taunt after the activation
-
is it possible to TK it without super jumping? cuz if you super jump you fly past them, i've watched a bunch of the videos but i don't know how to do these AB2 enders. i thought this one would be the easiest since all it consists of is 3 cat2's, but i haven't figured it out yet. i still dont get the 236c one. tao always jumps way the fuck back when i jump cancel 6c
-
i didn't know you could press start on a second controller to avoid losing, thats cheap! i've only tried a few times but i always lose to unlimited hakumen
-
this one? http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11441160 edit: thanks for the inputs
-
thanks man. for the AB2 ender it's: taunt > 236C > 6C > jump around cat2?
-
whats the best follow up for 6d~6, i can't figure anything out (j.c > 9d~9 > cat2 loop?) also regarding 6c into AB2, you do 12 taunts before the activation? i really want to learn this ender. i think it's the flashiest thing tao has . is it character specific? i know taokakaism said he did it initially on hakumen edit: sorry, can i get the inputs for after the activation

is the best follow up to anti-air 5B > 5C and 5C and 2d~6 the trial 10 ender? Anti-air 5B > 5C > 2D~6 > 3D~C > 3D~A > 9D~5 > 6D~6 > j.C > 9D~9 > 3D~3 > 236B > 3D~3 > 236BBBBB (3925) Anti-air 5C > 2D~6 > 3D~C > 3D~A > 9D~5 > 6D~6 > j.C > 9D~9 > 3D~3 > 236B > 3D~3 > 236B > 3D~3 > 236BBBBB (4784) Anti-air 2D~6 > 3D~C > 3D~A > 9D~5 > 6D~6 > j.C > 9D~9 > 3D~3 > 236B > 3D~3 > 236B > 3D~3 > 236BBBBB (4314)
-
that makes sense
-
well, im sure there is something better but i do: 2A > 5B > 6A (one hit) > JC > j.2D~B > 5C > 2D~6 > j.C > j.9D~9 > j.3D~3 > 236BBBBB and i dont remember how much it does, but i think its like 2.3k or something
-
yup i never go online, and i didn't know there was a patch, thanks edit: if hazama neutral crouches you cannot combo off 6b lol. he must be crouch blocking. noel is similar in that if she is neutral crouching 5b will only randomly link from 6b, if she is crouch blocking however it will link every time.
-
cool, thanks regarding your original post, you're saying 6b > 5b links non counter hit against all characters listed as "6b>5b" midscreen?
-
^you're awesome. this is so useful, thanks! 3 taunts 3806 damage off the 6b->j5d~b set up using 236cc ender
-
thanks, i didn't know regular block worked too
-
i saw a video (posted in here somewhere i think) of a tao player instant blocking a burst during a taunt loop, then punishing the burst with a taunt loop. anyway my question is: is it possible to react to burst during taunt loop? or do you need to commit to baiting it? in the video the opponent bursted between a taunt and 214d, it looked like the tao player reacted to the burst
-
i'm not claiming to have discovered it. i just think it should be in the OP, i saw it in a not so recent nicovideo edit: i also think AA 4D~B -> 10*taunts should be added to the number of taunt list in the OP. 5903 w/ corner ender, 5663 with 236cc ender
-
if you hit someone with the 5th hit of cat2 while near the corner you can go into taunt loop. 8 taunts = 5095 dmg w/ corner ender, 4861 with 236cc ender
-
i suggest you 2 in 1 the forward cancel, i started doing that and it increased my consistency pretty significantly. it helps a lot when you're maxing out damage and you only have a couple frames between the forward cancel and cat2. so for the in put i do 2d (slight pause) 236(hold 6) bbbbb
-
taunt loop just takes practice, the difficulty lies in the timing. bigger buttons aren't going to make taunt loop easier
-
niiiiice
-
awesome, thanks guys
-
no, it's fuckin awesome. i just want to know why my damage isn't matching the values listed.
-
hey guys, i picked up BB a couple weeks ago, and am finally getting taunt loop down. (slow learner). i had a question about the damage for the corner ender though. im in training mode and i've done the 6c -> 12*taunt -> corner ender combo a bunch of times but i keep getting 6694 damage (35 hits). also im getting 4128 damage for the 5b 6a starter with the corner specific ender. im sure im just being retarded, but what am i missing?

Yeaaaaah!!
