I'm not sure about how to deal with any small events, but putting this in place for majors doesn't seem like that bad of an idea (macro ban, I mean). The vast majority of people that show up for those things frequent DL or SRK, and we shouldn't have to begin to worry about shoo'ing away pad or new players with that. Well, it might still be an issue for pad players, but 90% of the pad players I know don't use macros...

Unless you jump installed that you're going to get slapped in the mouth and lose 25% meter. Depends on if you want the punish to be in the air or not.

If you're too close for the 6C it won't work, I think. You really shouldn't be that close to begin with before doing 6C, anyway. On most characters you can micro-dash a 5D anyway if you're about point blank when 6C hits as long as it doesn't CH.

woo month late on the topic. 6C > 66~ 5D(1) > 214D works on everyone and isn't difficult to follow up midscreen. It also gives you more damage than the standard followup would after 6C. The only issue would be distance after 6C, or rather lack of. There are a handful of characters I don't like doing this combo on, but it is much less of an issue than any other combos midscreen while maintaining both damage and corner carry. Mainly Hazama and anyone who shares his hitbox give me trouble when it comes to hitting them with j.D, but there are options around that.

If you forgot, FRC's were 'merged' with RC's in a way. If anything this definitely makes those combos easier at the cost of more meter. I don't see it being a loss to her play style in terms of combos because it isn't changing the impact or flow of anything she does besides one combo path (that she probably still has if you can RC Chemical Love). It would make some of her block-strings disappear, but it would not impact much in that case. Well, at least in my opinion it would not change much. -

I figured Jubei to be added before her, considering they said they'd add him with Relius. -
Edit: I lied.

You have to be really close against the heavier characters, or you could do c.S 5HS > tk FB SW. I get that to hit more often. Oh and for the sake of hilarity: How many Bandit Bringers can you hit Aba with? I've managed four in a row, and then two more later in the combo.

Because the game doesn't really have that complicated characters in the game yet, and seems generally focused around what silly things you can do with assists considering the "make your own assist" option. She really only has three mechanics that I can think of that put a bump in the standard learning curve. 1. Stance-cancel shenanigans (seems only useful in combos); 2. being able to lock the screen's focus (really situational); 3. Level 3's homing ability. -

So like Azrael? That's hilarious. -
I'd just pick whatever game your favorite character is in. If you care about gameplay, then my vote is Guilty Gear. The first half of this post brings up a good point: people worry about random things they won't be bothering with anyway until they get better at the game. Worry about getting a feel for everything before taking the training wheels off, y'know? FRC's aren't just 2 frames. They can actually vary up to 6 (I think, and not counting Faust's 40-frame frc on his super) Edit: Who has a 1-frame frc? There are a few characters you have to get used to the FRC timing for hit, whiff, and block (hitstop) but I don't know a single 1-frame FRC.

Triple bandit revolver lvl 3, and Dragon Install Sekkai ignores OTG as well. It's pretty fantastic. Unrelated: I was watching some Xrd stuff and I just saw Sol do some HNK/Sengoku Basara Cross shit in the corner with wallsticks :/ Edit: Oh, and OHK is no longer garbage in xrd apparently. -

-RC works with whiffed normals and projectiles and does slow time but time slow is very brief and doesn’t really seem like it will disrupt match flow. AHAHAHAHA
