There's actually a video of me playing against another Bang on Xiei's stream (it's the one with the red Bang). I thought the previous casuals against Dacid's Bang, Tager, Hazama, and Ragna were recorded, but I guess they're not there 0_0. I think there was one main match recorded on the main SCR stream from 10:00 to 11:45 am PST. Also, I almost forgot about Shadowfiend's commentary and the hype party posse... that kind of hype should be mandatory on every stream. Why thank you good sir. DacidBro was very casual and cool along with Sanoshi. It's not that I couldn't do any of combos...it's just that I couldn't hear the cues. I was doing fairly well against Dacid during casuals for three straight hours, and when people came, I could not hear the button inputs. On SCR, it was a huge ballroom with so many overeager nerds like myself. They had SC5(looks very pretty), 3 cabinets for TTT2, and Marvel fullscreen. I tried to play EX but two people were hogging the TV. I came because I wanted to experience what a tourney was like, and it was awesome.

IDK At the Northwest Majors stream chat, it was a matter of stream monsters hating the people playing the game rather than the game itself. So, people think there's a stereotype stigma if you play this game. It was the same when Tekken came on.Also, I can see where the Capcom people are coming from for thinking that this game is hard but then I realize there's mvc so there's no excuse.

Another advantage to the stick that you can take outside of competitive fighting game scene.. better left-hand coordination. I was doing better inputs and dash confirms on my right when playing inverted style. On my left, not so much. :V

Well, in extend, Tsubaki's quickest charge input is jD. She avoids the extra jc set so she can have the ability to dash backward or forward. If she does the extra jump, she has less options and will likely eat an anti-air to a meaty combo. Also, all dmg output has been nerfed for most of the characters. Was 22D comboed into or was it just a reset by itself? If 22D was comboed into (..2A>5B>22D), it tends to have less dmg. But doing 22D > 6CC > jc > C > jc > CC > 236A > 214A is least optimal dmg for 1 stock. IADs and dp whiffs will up the dmg. Ok, I watched the videos, and I know what you're actually talking about now. The Tsu player was trying to do one of the following options: bait a burst, set up more opportunities for charging to get more dmg later, or catching the guy in the air with a random j normal to 236A>236C.

Which version of BB is it? I saw another BB cabinet in Little Tokyo but it was CS1.

Sorry for not giving you an immediate response, but Thursday in the early afternoon onwards would be good. HOWEVER, I've haven't gotten the go on using the Xbox setup yet. If I don't get a response by tomorrow, it's better to wait and go to Xie's or for next week around the same time (assuming that I get the ok on Thursday night).If you do go, stuff to bring would be a drive that has the xbox data for the cs2 patch and an extra controller, assuming the buttons are too flat to use.

So I asked questions at the gameroom...and had to leave notes because the supervisor was barely available. From how things are looking now, the employer implied that the supervisor was stubborn about adding certain games to the available list. If things go wrong, the nearest available place is Danisen League at Xie's house next Saturday.I'm also in the same boat with Hajin on transportation. It's not a matter of getting there, but the timing of going in and out for me.

Torozone is in Csudh, located in the ground 1st floor of the student union. There's already set-ups there. It's just a matter of talking it out with the owner to 1) get the cs1 copy in and 2) dl the cs2 patch. That's the only place I know right now with game set-ups. EDIT: You can also set-up events there, but I haven't tried that part yet. So, I'll ask questions tomorrow morning. If not, there's mvc3, sf4, and fps stuff there.

When someone bursts out, all momentum is lost, and you pretty much have to start from neutral or be combo into. If one player is already at a disadvantage eg. hp wise and needs that mugen to land a killing blow, then one burst is all it takes to lose a round. But, anyway, enough with brooding, I'm looking forward to charge canceling and poking since I heard cc works better now. On 5C, it seemed to catch people in the air and a tao ca. I'm curious on what the frames are on that. Also, I'm wondering if 236C can OTG if it's not after a throw. If it does, there's a possible corner carry for that. In CS2, you can rc throw or not just to get 236c to hit.

Oh man, when you wrote that, that reminded me of what they're talking about in the Relius forums in terms of big dmg except it's depending on ignis' hp, but they can get away with it in so many ways. Either that or...

I think Haseiyoku is 214214D. From what I'm seeing is that options are far more limited now than CS2. Her big dmg revolves around getting 50 meter and a few stocks. But wasn't Tsu kinda like that in CS1? Kishida was able to get decent dmg around 4K using 1 stock haseiyoku and an unblockable so there's some hope but less hope in serious competition.

In a previous match, tao did a CA on Kuresu, which he countered easily with 5C. So I think CA and its properties are nerfed overall. DP whiffs haven't been used at all since the earliest matches that were posted up. I kinda want to see how Tsubaki does in the air. We've seen people mostly do ground charges but not air charges yet.(well just a few times but not many) My overall impressions on CS:EX tsu is that she's a mix of cs1 and cs2, which is bad.

Maybe not tonight, but in the future, can you cover burst and counter assault baiting? There's an article on burst-baiting for GG, but I don't see one for BB.

Well, the format was in flv so I would have to convert it to mpeg4 for my video editor and reconvert it back. A lot of quality would be lost, and it'll look blocky. I'll time-stamp it in the description.

Uh guys..he's just a beginner Tsubaki. I mean, who hasn't done the ABC into charging star when starting out with tsu before moving onto IAD and dp whiffs? He's probably not even aware that balance changes exist yet.

You were either too close to the tao player and her hit box may have had some key in 5C connecting (or both). It's most likely the hitbox from tao faceplanting the ground. You were pretty far to prep for the 5C whiff.
