  1. Hmm, AH3 at the Wolves' Den (with a dash of BB)? I might swing by even though I was finally going to sit down and grind in training mode all day since AH3 hasn't clicked for me yet...
  2. Daw, oh well. If not this weekend, hopefully next weekend or something.
  3. If that's the case, I can grab the game room in Wolf Village since I live in Building G. It's a bit more spacious, has a nice big flat screen, a few couches, and a balcony. Just lemme' know what works best for everyone. I wouldn't mind getting together this Saturday if people are interested.
  4. I'm down for some weeklies/bi-weeklies. I could definitely do some BB, preferably on Saturdays. NC State works for me as well since I'm on campus.
  5. Yeah, I thought it was kinda' quiet here, too. I'd be down for some BB not this coming weekend, but the weekend after that. Hopefully I'll have my new monitor by then. I ordered an ASUS vh236 but it was DOA, so I had to get an RMA.
  6. Yeah, GGs all around. Probably the first time I've played with players that have put as much work into the game as I have, if not more. If anything, it definitely put things into perspective. Meeting up at least three times a month would be nice. For those who came, how'd you like it? Probably not the best place to advertise the game, but I thought it worked for getting some casuals in.
  7. Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, we're primarily playing on PS3. Unexpectedly worked overtime today so I was wondering how many messages I missed, but I guess it wasn't too much. I'll probably PM my cell to you guys in case you need to get in touch with me tomorrow/later today. Looking forward to playing some good matches.
  8. If we don't wanna' take chances on the Samsung in the lounge, then it would be great if you brought your setup, Titanium (also because it has all the characters).
  9. It's a 19" VIZIO LCD (I think it's a M190va, but it also has 1080p so I dunno). Compared to when I play on my friend's CRT, the input lag is negligible in my opinion, even when using HDMI. Of course, I can still bring my VGA cable too but I don't think it'll be necessary.
  10. Alright, so I got the green light. Here are some details: Location: NC State - Owen Residence Hall Lounge Date & Time: Saturday, June 11 @ 4:00 pm - at least 9 pm Setups: There is a high-end Samsung LCD tv avaliable for use in the lounge, but I don't know what the input lag is like on those. I'll be bringing a setup with a tv since the input lag is hardly noticeable on it in my opinion, so ideally another complete setup and at least 1 more ps3 would be nice. If need be, I can bring another t.v., but the input lag on that is noticeable (bearable, but noticeable). I can also bring a VGA cable for PS3 if anyone's interested. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. By all means spread the word since the more, the merrier. Edit: Received some clarification on the lounge
  11. Ah, damn. Since it sounds like it would be better this weekend, I'll see if my friend wants to move it to this weekend. If that works, we'll probably be able to set something up at NC State since he's there for summer classes atm.
  12. It won't be this weekend, but unless something comes up I'll be heading to Raleigh next weekend to get some games in with a friend of mine. If anyone's interested, PM me by next Wednesday or so. That way I'll know beforehand if I have to make any special arrangements and whatnot.
  13. I'll be checking out the place that I suggested earlier, the Wolf Village game room at NCSU, this weekend to see if I can still get in during the summer, so that could be a possibility. Even if that doesn't work during the summer, it should be available when school starts back up since I'll be living there anyway.
  14. Zoogstin, if you're in Greensboro then we could probably carpool to save on gas since I'm in Jamestown.
  15. Weekends would work best for me since I have a 40 hour work week and it looks like I'll most likely have to travel to the triangle area for matches.
  16. Hmm, there's always the game room in Wolf Village Building G if I remember correctly. It's hardly ever used and you don't have to reserve it or anything, so it would be pretty easy to set up in there. Plus there's no set hours like in Talley or D.H. to my knowledge.
  17. I'd like to know as well since I'm usually in Raleigh (NCSU) but don't really have a place for BB.
  18. Sup man, haven't seen you in a while. How's it going?

  19. Yeah, finally decided to join. Fresh start and all that jazz, lol.

  20. I know how you feel. Although after messing around with it for the longest, I have figured out something. When doing the JC, I've had the best results doing a vertical one instead of a diagonal one. And after doing the j.236D, wait until she drops till about the same level as the orb before you do the j.214D. Usually when I do all that, I get the right number of hits. For the hjc>C part, it seems like pressing C as soon as she leaves the ground is your best bet for connecting.
