Given the general idea of characters, that sounds about right to me. I remember reading jbbs for CSX a few weeks or a month after it was released in arcades and they pretty much had it accurate. The only one I could at least possibly consider changing spots is Izayoi. But dunno considering what I've seen of her playstyle. We'll see. I'm not big on tier lists, but it's nice to have a list of a general idea of who needs to work a bit harder with the options they have and who is doing the damage. -
I'm not used to charge moves so I see myself doing random 6C outta nowhere from fullscreen >>;; Also her colors look nice, too bad there's no purple color D: I might roll with default or #6. Edit: Still here, semi-lurker status

So what is the purpose of new super? I assume that it can't be used as a combo ender due to how it works, so is there another purpose to it other than it seeming like a flashy, 50% heat option to get charge or reset pressure? That's all the options I can come up with. Command grab though is sexy as hell and looks hella useful. -

I wan't okay with it but Kiba informed me of what we DID gain for that loss and I am okay with this. I'm just excited that she has different options than before in general. Like most characters getting upgrades, I'm glad Tsubaki didn't completely change or just got a few new moves and that's it. I'm liking what I'm seeing. Its a nice mix and frankly I came out of hiatus and hiding because I want to see more of her. :3 &PK <3 -

Hi Battou :3 indeed it has been awhile. Yeah, I was watching some vids and her mixup seems more legit and scary. Gotta work on dem blockstrings when I get the game! I know we don't have much of a frame data chart up yet but I hope the actual data doesn't affect the mixup potential she's showing now. I'm not too worried though, but it seems with the added tools, and the new mechanics, there's lots to look forward to Tsubaki in CP than EX. As far as my analysis goes, since I've been out of the BB info loop for MONTHS. -

I can always rely on you guys to bring me up to speed :3 Thanks. So Kuresu is still playing Tsu? Hype. I might have to sift through some more match vids, only been watching Amane stuff and that one 11/25 Amane vs. Tsubaki. Gotta do more research, but count on me to ask more questions. -

So is Tsubaki similar to EX in the fact that she absolutely needs charge to break 2k average? Then again with OD at least that gives a somewhat temporary boost. -

So I haven't been looking up anything for CP for the last couple months. Until this week. Holy cow, lots to look forward too as far as her changes go. Projectile, a flashy distortion, new colors...ish...gameplay looks hype. I want new CP Tsubaki. And I'll probably try and play Izayoi too :3 Also I'm back. Been hanging out at the Amane boards yesterday but I'll try and post here more. -
At first I thought Mori was gonna troll and put like her Sword or something. I wonder if Amane Astral on Izayoi means Baby Tsubaki again.

Looking at all the Amane vids posted, just make me realize that whenever I end up playing against him...I just gotta hope that drill doesn't chip my last health to death. I know its been posted before at the amount but it still amazes me >>;; Its kind of like that last few bits of health you have against Mu and then a laser clips you to death. ._.;; :X *goes back to watching vids*

LOL I used to play Relius too. But dropped him when I only wanted one character to work on. been with Tsubaki since CS2, I still plan to main her. Sub wise, I probably only want one character to keep up with. Amane is probably it. Even though I love Tsubaki (and her with less clothes than normal is drool worthy and her outfit as Izayoi is amazing), the "modes" I've been hearing about Izayoi kinda makes me iffy. I will see for myself. I'm looking at more Amane stuff and it seems more likely I'll try him out. Not hopping on the Azrael and Bullet train but he definitely caught my eye on how his matches flow. Drills and sparkles yo. I wish I had more gameplay related stuff to ask or pitch in but I've been on the longest hiatus from BB ever and finally coming back to looking up info LOL. I'll get there.

BTW I haven't looked up ANYTHING for CP to prevent hype so I probably will have to spend a couple days catching up to everything

Coming out of hiding/stalker/lurker/away status. Looking for a sub when CP hits and although I will main Tsubaki, Izayoi doesn't look appealing to me. not as appealing compared to Sparkle Glam Rent boy. :3 Damn, hyped for BB:CP. I blame Solar 100% Also my account is outdated...I should fix that >>;;

This matchup got seriously harder with CSE Tsubaki's changes (Imo) It really just boils down to reaction time and noting when to poke out of her pressure. I'm sorry I can't explain more, I only play against 1 really good Taokaka and I feel like I'm playing more against the player than the matchup in general. What I do know as basics are: Tao doesn't have any "real" mixup, her overhead is slow but what she lacks makes up in tricky pressure. You can throw her out of 6B but it's really tight and I highly advise against it, but it's kind of a slow overhead (not as slow as Tsubakis >>;; ). In fact, I don't think Tao can really get any big damage off of 6B unless it's a CH. Also she doesn't have any big damaging overheads unless on CH but it doesn't mean to like auto-block low. Her j.C and j.2B can be thrown in to catch you on that for an overhead, other than 6B. 2C will always be your best friend in this matchup. If the Tao likes to drive through you to cross over during pressure, you can 2C that. Like I said before about her j.C and j.2B, she can double/triple jump and also BAIT you into your 2C, so you really have to be cautious about when you use it. Be careful if you get too scared (like me) and try to IAD back and get some breathing room. Got read too many times and got Air Thrown into combo..into the corner. If the Tao decides to stop Cat Spirit 2 ender and go into a Throw, they're sacrificing damage for Air pressure. Thankfully, if you tech it and decide to charge, you still can get about 1 stock before Tao can do anything to get you. Any more and she can pop up right next to you and try and throw you. j.214x can get you out if she tries to climb her way back and get you. This matchup is more of a game of making that cat BLOCK more than you blocking her pressure, it's really the only way to go about it considering that Tao has the advantage in the air, and you don't have too many options to put her on the same level as you. Tsubaki has a lot of options you can utilize in her own pressure to defeat that cat....but it doesn't make this matchup any easier. Much like her other matchups, it's really an uphill battle. This is just what I have gathered DX, if anyone has anything else to add (or to fix about what I have here)...just say so....like I said, I only play against one Tao, since we only have one in our scene. Who destroys me every single time -__-;;
