Probably to promote offence oriented gameplay. So what's the deal with Jap and Ragna? I barely ever see any Ragna players in videos that are uploaded by Jourdal, do they not like him as a character or something?

I agree. HF ender mid screen fro corner push is a goto tool. On top of that ID(D) is awesome for Oki and if BE recovery frames were buffed I think it becomes a good pressure tool, you can easily and safely alter your jumping arc and nail a 5b on CH, that's just awesome! I just hope BK wasn't murdered by the developers... no BK = I'm switching characters.

I don't think 22C oki is dead, you are still in advantage, just can't do multiple 22Cs in a combo.

you could always play mind games with HF, by trading the second hit for a reset. But if you really are looking to spend heat and do some damage, I prefer to use CS instead of HF.

It's a cross up and you are not screwed on block, failed execution is another story though. sG, I tend to teach my opponents to tech before I use that trick.

most ranked players are super scrub level. I beat the shit out of some lvl70 when I was only 30 and BBCS is my first fg that I want to be mad good at, so my knowledge is lacking atm. Now in player matches, that's where you might find some beasty opponents. My personal favorites are Zidane and SHADOWREDzero, these guys are REALLY good. You can tell that their victories are well deserved. I'm sure there are more in other regions, too. Cool trick that I came up with a few days ago: after you perform a 22C ender combo, if you have 50 heat (which you do 99% of the time) sjDash forward, as soon as you are over the opponents head do ID (D version), cancel it -> GH -> standard follow up. This cross up nets a shit ton of damage, added damage can be 7K+, easily. This cross up is nothing new, but have yet to see anyone implement it in this manner.

BBCS execution is different from SF and much easier, and frankly much better. Unlike SF, in BBCS you buffer your combos. That combo that wiffs, i think you aren't supposed to do jD after 6D, it should go like 6D jump cancel JC BE. 5B is a great approach tool, definitely Ragna's best one. It has range and good follow up options on both, block and hit. Watch some Kaqn's Ragna matches, the way he applies pressure is insane, good reference player.

Valk is like 2nd Litchi. He excels at everything, range, damage, mobility, mixup, air attacks, anti-air attacks. On top of that if you get caught in his command grab, that's 6K+ of unburstable damage. Yeah, his super is has invincibility at start and works well as a reversal, too. Can't wait for his nerf!

problem with 5B 6A is range. I've recently changed up my game vs Ara, for instance 5b 3c I always follow up with 2b 5c instead of 5d, also instead of 6a launched (if I was forced to use 5d) I use jB, works in many cases, but sometimes wiffs. Serious annoyance of this character is that he is constantly in the air, making it tougher to set up combos, and sometimes I feel like his stupid back dashing is even better than a reversal.

My worst match ups must be Litchi, Arakune and Valkenhein. Litchi - getting hit even once pretty much means you lost, vs competent players of course. Arakune - his hitbox is so retarded, MANY dropped combos 'cause of that. Valk - He is just a better character at everything. Can't wait for CS2

DI0793, wtf are you talking about, there is no jump cancel in that combo. Falling jC cancels into BE before you touch the ground. So far I tested it on Tao, Tager and Hakumen. I assume this works on Rachel as well, haven't tried it though. It's very easy to land this combo on Tager, so I suggest you practice on him first.

That troll who laughed when I suggested Jin's Yukikaze buffs can shoot himself in the face. Exactly what I thought was weak about it was changed for the better. About Jin's 2D and it's speed, please tell me 5C 2D doesn't combo on normal hit, 'cause that would be so stupid broken. -
If 22C is done early in a combo, you can replace 5B with 5A 5B, this is much easier to nail. For instance: 2D 5C 5D(1) 214A 22C...66 5B 6A etc becomes 2D 5C 5D(1) 214A 22C...66 5A 5B 6A etc there is a proration draw back, but still a good trick to keep in mind. As far as 22C enders, some players chose not to tech, to avoid a possible reset. So depending on the character you face you can take advantage of this too.

It's not that hard, but still, fairly tough to do, compared to most Jin's combos. true, it's risky, but if you train them to DP it creates opportunity for good damage baits XD. -

Hm, I think his best Oki is after 3c. One of standard (decent) ways to nail it is 5b(2) 3c ... 2b 5c (SJC) 2c 5d ... (IAD) 2c 5c (dash) 5b(2) 2b 5c 3c. Fairly hard to do, but very rewarding bnb. I normally end with 214C only if I catch opponent with 2D, and even then I sometimes let frozen opponent fall on the ground while frozen without finishing the combo to maximize damage with a possible reset. -
This thread is pure win! Aracune is so broken that even he himself can't handle them shenenigans XD.

Both players in a mirror have the same tools and both inflict the same amounts of damage, how in the world are people typing things like 6-4 or even 7-3??? It all comes down to predictions and knowledge of what's the best tool to use in what situation (assuming skill is equal).
