  1. well, I guess I might test some things in cs2 later today. 5a>5b is gapless? 5a>2c air hit combos Also I can't exactly remember but weren't charge cancels improved a lot in EX? I can't remember any details though. Not that I particularly need to test that. For csex testing, maybe I will test charge cancels by seeing what moves can hit tsubaki out of charge cancel> 5a from various moves.
  2. I also wonder if 5a>5b had a gap in CS2. 5a>5c has no gap in CSEX, and 5c is 8 frames. 5a>5b in CS2? 5b in cs2 was 9 frames. so is there a gap or not?
  3. that does work in CSEX too but it's tight. dunno if it is different in CP. 2c has a special hitstun value.
  4. I wasn't sure, did untechable time take effect on grounded opponents? I kind of thought standing hitstun was just based on the attack level of the move. if untech is involved then that could be something. but I don't know? For one thing, does 5a>2c really connect in CS2 on an air hit? This is what I read on jbbs, but our frame data shows 5a as having 12 untech time. 2c has a 13 f startup..
  5. Some of this is based on what I've read from jbbs. but. As I recall, 5b>3c does not work on crouching in CSEX, and 5bb>3c does. This makes me think 5b>5bb won't have a gap. the 5a>2c thing makes me think that 5a>5b might not have a gap. But I really can't say. It also is worth mentioning that special cancels work the same way - that is, on crouching, 5c>236c connects, but 5b>236c does not connect IIRC. There is something different about these, that causes one to work and not the other. 5b and 5c both have an attack level of 3. if it was as simple as, you can cancel into 236C on the first active frame, it wouldn't be that way. Do we have any reason to believe that charge cancels behave differently from gatling cancels or special cancels?
  6. there are 2 changes in CP I'm very interested in. 1. 5a (air hit)> 2c connects in CP. it connects in CS2. it does not connect in CSEX. 5a and 2c have identical frame data in CS2 and CSEX. 2. crouching, 5bb>3c works in CSEX. in CP, 5b>3c works, and 5bb>3c does not work. I'm not really sure what the theoretical explanation for this is. I feel like it's that the cancel point on these moves is now earlier. But I also remember discussion about how frame difference on charge cancels only depends on the attack level of the move, which would seem to be wrong if that's the case. One way or another, It seems to me like 5a>5b might not have a gap anymore, and 5b>5bb certainly doesn't
  7. Agito is massive + on block.
  8. agito being able to crossup isn't even half of what makes that move so good..
  9. but her reversals are, and she has gaps in all of her blockstrings without even ib'ing.
  10. you main platinum, remember.
  11. in that case Lambda is dumb because of having a 17 frame overhead for 4k dmg and having 10 different forms of effective anti-air
  12. I want to play mucky. I'm going to get you back for this insult in CP.
  13. That's not really true. Correct use of charge is one of the distinguishing factors of good players from bad players.
  14. I ain't apologizing to no hakumen trash. I don't know what to think of toan saying tsubaki is a dumb character is all.
  15. I don't even know what to say
  16. Take it up with Toan I guess. You can imagine that a character might not be so annoying if they just didn't have that one stupid move right? Toan can hate tsubaki, the character, when CP comes.
  17. I think it goes without saying that he meant Hakumen's move Tsubaki.
  18. I'm a waste of his time too. But Toan actually likes wasting time, I believe.
  19. 800 isn't low. Tsubaki super min damage is 480. Here's info for you. 6a: CH floats less, j2C will no longer connect. 5b: lower hitbox is gone 2b: hurtbox lasts past hitbox being gone/ 6b: second hit forces crouch, special cancel gone, 6b> 6c connects, recovery increased. 5c: hurtbox comes out faster 2c: hurtbox comes out faster head invincibility is removed CH untechable time is reduced. floats higher, so j2C connects 6c: hitbox is smaller? JC: hurtbox comes out faster, jump cancel on block J2C: FC removed, forces crouch, untech time reduced CA: changed to 5b
  20. Just replaced with the dumb jump loop. Which hazama does too... over and over and over.. Just about every confirm into j.C loops.
  21. Sure. Invited This hitbox is so dumb. GGs.
  22. um.. does anyone want to play some?
  23. What do you not like about CSE? Seems like best incarnation of Lambda to me. I want to play you sometime though, see if I can take some games off a lambda that isn't toan. where's cookie
  24. sometimes it's hard to differentiate between hakumen being retarded and hakumen players being retarded
