  1. We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. This game hasn't really seen a 7-3 since CS1.
  2. i do want 6b to be +2, not +3. +1 is too sketchy particularly against characters with faster jabs than us, and with barrier and with reduced dash momentum on jabs in CP.. I do want 5cc to be +1, not because I want 5cc to be +1 but because I would want charge recovery to be 17f instead of 18f. 5CC charge cancel being +1 on block doesn't do anything mind you. that's a straight reset to neutral whether it is +0 or +1. Pushback is too large. I want j.D landing recovery to be 5f instead of 9f.
  3. 46C->46A 6a -> 22f 2b -> 10f character specific combos fixed 5bb hits higher (don't care about farther, I want easy air confirms)
  4. I don't think the update has any practical effect. I still doubt it will hit much before Evo, if before Evo.. also lol at the idea of only banning black hole in the corner.. Like kokonoe without black hole at all wouldn't still have 7-3s against much of the cast...

  8. i'm just gonna go ahead and say that if you use weird gates you're losing one of the big benefits of a stick. the standard works well...
  9. I've never heard of that kind of grip. comfort is number one, but you might look around the web for ways people hold the stick, maybe in a pad->joystick guide, and try small variations and see if anything clicks.
  10. you play remotely with your vita right? I got my stick, a BB tournament edition mad catz, around when CS came out. Didn't play much around then, but I got it. I got it for like $100 at the time but it has been great. A couple months back when some buttons started sticking I looked around to see about maybe replacing the whole thing. At which time I figured out that they seem to cost like 170-180 at least now.. so I actually just popped it up and learned how to replace and clean the buttons.. It works well, but not sure exactly how much difference can be expected from different sticks if they all use the same main parts (sanwa stick, buttons). A matter of preference on the form factor maybe. I like the colossal stick, and its big flat surface personally. GGs susano

  13. madcatz what? the fightpad thing? when I thought about it I wondered why exboxers didn't use that when they complained about the DS3.
  14. the extended hurtbox coming before the attack is a CP thing right. does help a lot against mu compared to last version.
  15. if he tries to dp somewhere that there isn't a gap, then he loses his charge, and you'll see him stand up.. slow overheads are quite a hassle to use on him. throws can be good though.
  16. if you can see it, and you've been holding down, yeah. frame 1 invuln and the input is just as simple as moving to stand block.
  17. the odds of reward and the risk on autopilot 5c>6c is relatively low. for example as tsubaki, fishing with ch with 5b>6c only combos on counter hit. on air hit, straight up get punished as they tech through 6c. on block, can be jabbed out. no combo on crouch. ok on whiff, but not that much range so only ok. fishing with 5c>6c results in 60+ frames of recovery on whiff, and the rest is the same. also has massive range, a fast startup, and hits pretty high in the air too. so yeah, you really have to be careful around that move, and well, duh of course it's going to be used a lot.
  18. 2c j2d is really the hardest part. most terumis i have played weren't that hard to get out of, but surf's terumi was impossible for me to get out of the corner against. and I think that mixup is just a straight 50/50. compared to say ragna, jin, tsubaki, or makoto, I find his stuff a lot harder to get out of.

  22. hitting a 1 frame gap on ib with a reversal is pretty hard. just saying.
  23. I think people playing Kokonoe want to know if she's going to be banned soon so they can start training with another character. Would be a pretty big setback to play through a couple more tournaments, only to find out that she's going to be banned before EVO, etc.
