The final image says it's also from Survival Mode, which I've not heard of.

Hakumen has always been one of the easier Unlimited characters to beat because he's slow and throws counters out like an idiot. He just has a lot of health and will kill you if you mash randomly.

I mean... I said it was the easiest course... so yeah... it'd be the easiest course to take. Very basic things to keep in mind for Course C are; The difference between Bullet's grab and command grab, if you react for one, but it's the other, she'll find a way to punish your dick. Hazama's OD DD guard breaks and crosses you up, so barrier block it but wait until he's crossed you up or you'll get CH'd and lose 5.6k + life steal damage. Valkenhayn can bail out of any non-DD combo with Wolf meter if he's on the ground. So once he has wolf meter, either be very aware of your grounded punishes, or just stick to hitting him while he's airborne. Hakumen is a punk bitch so be sure to get all of your frustrations out on him from your experiences with normal Hakumen, teabag him at least 6 times or you didn't do it correctly. Other than that, the Unlimiteds all have very simple and telegraphed patterns that are easy to learn and react to after a fight or two.

You unlock Course D by completing courses A-C. Each Unlimited is unlocked by beating any single course with that character. Course C is the easiest to complete out of the default courses, due to having no "bullshit" characters (in other words, no Amane, who is the only 'difficult' battle in U. Mars, and no Arakune, who is a long chore).

I've done it with all but 4 characters (which I'll do later tonight and tomorrow), it's basically a giant glass cannon mode. It's easy, but any mistake is devastating. Course C is the easiest of the default 3.

Completing True End unlocks The Highlander as a selectable music choice with Kagura and Highlander Assault Mode.

I think you're seriously overestimating the potential of Kagura's bike. It's not special, and the infinite is so incredibly situational it wouldn't even be worthy of a CMV. Characters like Unlimited Amane are exponentially worse (as in gdlk); being able to touch you once and have the round won right there.

Keep in mind this is not a wishlisting thread for playable characters. Some pondering on who will end up playable based on the story doesn't belong here either, but I'm letting it slide up until this post I've made here. But seriously. Rules aren't hard to follow. Start following them.

At least 7, and likely at least 8 are unlocked by Unlimited Mars. I've only completed it with 13 characters so far, so I don't know if it unlocks any more; I should know by the end of the week. And afaik, buying the Unlimited characters will not fill in the respective arts.

So, since people apparently don't read the rules and/or don't follow them, this thread is officially in No-Fun Mode. Rules will be followed or the user will be infracted. Posts that don't belong here will be deleted and depending on how "innocent" the post was, the user may again, end up infracted. No-Fun Mode is no fun, so I don't like it, which means eventually the thread will be relaxed again (US Thanksgiving, maybe? Christmas? US BBCP release?). On-disc means that the entirety of the character is on the disc. But it typically does not refer to things that are unlockable in-game. Essentially it's refers to the negative connotation that you have to pay additional money just to get something that's already in the game; buying an unlock code rather than buying content. Terumi and Kokonoe are like this. Entire characters within the disc that you must pay to obtain (other than the Terumi limited run until next week, of course). This is unlike the CS DLC characters, where only minuscule, unusable data for the characters were present.

Boss Rush is simply beating 10 characters in Unlimited Mars. It's cumulative, so it's a very quick and easy Trophy to obtain.

Trinity was known as the Platinum Alchemist. That seems like the most logical assumption without knowing the actual back-story of "Platinum" as an entity herself. I mean, asking "why is X named Y" is a pretty hard question to answer. Why does Noel have a boy's name? Why does Ragna have a girl's name? Who thought Makoto was a good name for a squirrel? etc. etc. You really can't answer why a name is a name unless you are/asked the person who named them.

Which brings up another point of this thread. While it's for speculations and theories, try to have some basis for them. This thread's for speculations, not fanfic hopes an' dreams. This isn't a strict rule (unless it's full-on stupid, then you're fucked), but it bugs me all the same
