It is when you are in the areas without much of an offline scene, like the greater part of Oregon, for example, as well as a lot of Idaho. When you're stuck with online, but everyone else is busy having fun offline, it can be discouraging.

You should be able to infer by looking at other people's avatars that 100x100 is not avatar size. Normal users avatars can be a max of 160x64. That said, that image (which, btw, please try to avoid attachments, they're a butt) really doesn't want to work well in 160x64. Someone may be able to do it, but I admit I am not that someone orz.

Voice chat limit is typically between 25 people, but you can bypass it easily. For total people allowed in a group, it's 300 last I checked.

There isn't a singular Skype channel for DL, but there are a ton of groups that span the community. (character Skype groups, regional Skype groups, etc, etc).

Well MLP already "won," basically it's out of the way for 8th game, but if it still ends up with the most money (which it will), the grand exhibition it's already confirmed to get will have a $1k bonus added to its mock tourney. So really the main competition right now is Melee.

Which makes it even worse. Non-FG players should not be in charge of putting children's cartoons in EVO on such a grand scale. Melee's inclusion is stupid imo, too, but I'll at least acknowledge it's a very competitive game for those who take it seriously.

I still find that better than an unfinished game about My Little Pony having over 15x as much as BB has.

A few characters do similar things (Hakumen and Tsubaki come to mind), it's just a gamble like anything else, give yourself an advantage early on, and hope you win, if not, hope you last long enough to regain your burst that round.
