As I talked with you in Skype, there's 2Bs which are vaguely similar. Anyway let's just play it when I get it and we'll see. As for the Con, well, there was me getting bodied by dudes in Street Fighter, us bodying fools in F-zero GX, and me never touching the KOF set ups because it had pads and they wouldn't let you plug in sticks. Also there was a GG set up with pads. lol. I saw the Battle Royale movie. It was pretty sweet. Went to the Touhou fan-wank panel. Wasn't as bad as I thought. Shoutouts to trekking across the entire con space for an Avatar panel only to find it was canceled, the trekking back to the other side to hit up the Dealer's Room, only to find it was closed. I did go back the final day to pick up a Chie figure though! I've always wanted to get into figure collecting. I like displaying neat little stuff like that. Yea.

After watching a bit of P4U in person at Otakon, I'm kinda excited for it. It's a shame that I'm way too slow for that newegg promotion jackie linked a while back. I'm very hesitant to drop 60$ on this game, considering the money I'm shelling out to go to Otakon anyway. What to do..

Good news is, my financial issues seem to be on track to me getting to go back to school, just gotta get my ass in gear and focus. I don't have a TV I can bring, but I may bring along my Xbox and my copies of KOF, SSF4, and maybe Marvel I guess (though I don't even have the AE DLC lol, or any of KOF's for that matter, with the exception of Flame Iori) I believe Keith was bringing a TV and ps2/Gear. I will bring along my laptop for some Nazi Game.

This this this. After EVO I've had massive inspiration to replay KOF. Coupled with my falling interest in League, its like the stars have aligned. I've been refamiliarizing (or learning for the first time? heh) myself with the stuff in this game. And short hops are insanely important. I find most of my time in training mode just hopping around trying to perfect it. So far I'm improving but still suck at it. It's a critical skill and what makes KOF so different/fun. Access to aerials low to the ground is so cool. Regarding team order: meter usage is important but theres also just preference. Everybody calls Ash a bad anchor even though I ran him anchor and it actually won me a few games early in the game's life. Of course now everybody is actually good, and I DID switch Ash's position but whatever lol

I'm probably just gonna man up and buy the flame iori DLC. I feel like Terry is some sorta FlameIori wannabe for me. probably going Kula Ash and Fiori, in some sort of random order.. maybe swap Kula for Yuri and put Ash first and AAAAAH so confusing

There may not always be a chance where you can hitconfirm into a combo; but there's always a time you can poke somebody successfully. *sagely nod* Plus it's not like "press a button twice and then cancel into a special (like cr.B cr.B FLASHKICK)" isn't enough to get by early on anyway. :U EDIT: Goddamnit Naimat.
