mitsuru's is much better than yu's dp!! yosukes is pretty not great <_> im pretty sure the assumption you are making is mostly based off a lack of (or misinterpretation of) matchup knowledge. there are ways to totally blow up most counters is this game aside from teddies, you can even activate yosuke's and not get hit, lol

i just do the combo separately from the actual setup (block switching off, block everything just watch for jA to get blocked), and i land it a lot for the most part :v you can practice the combo on standing yu with just straight up rising jA~

with dash momentum your jA will hit and you will fall on the other side. im not doing anything on the way down, if you are in the corner however you will definitely go for jB!

its better to jump upforward so you crossup, then A~D really fast so you can land and do a sandwich combo

Oh, i have face buttons default, R1 ABC, R2 BD, L1 AC, L2 Burst, i grab/tech manually and AOA manually because of how your finger normally lines up with those combinations, as well as allowing you to SB easily.
