  2. he is saying that on any crouching opponent you can do 214 acb for more damage and better carry. standard combo for that is 2a 5b 5cc 214 acb 2a 5cc jb j.d ( jb 623c~d)
  3. 5cc has its place. But they are all for well placed call outs. AS its beats tagers back dash in the corner.
  4. *shrugs* I'm going to stay out this for now. Too much RL shit going on for me. Dakayna with the current setup one of two things are going to happen at this tournament People show up both days and things are cool People will show up day one, get knocked out and not return the next day. Making the second day event much smaller mainly consisting of people who are in top 8 or traveling, and those who want to hang out with those traveling.

  6. I'm going to throw out my 2 cents into this matter. I don't know why this decision was put in with no input from other TO's. NCI is not a one man show, its a community event. First at the very least all the other tournament ogranizers should have been able to throw there input into the matter. A simple private message over dustloop saying, I am thinking of doing X for SNCI what do you guys think. Lets brainstorm and come up with ideas to make SNCI something unique etc etc. Would have let us feel involved, instead of a hey SNCI is a 2 day event deal with it post that was put up. The individual TO's are just as important in running the event and making sure everything goes well. Second of all, I feel from listening to people at NCI, that the community doesn't feel like there voice is heard anymore. After awhile you stop caring to voice your opinion. Slowly, I've been watching the community become a bit more disinterested in NCI, because they no longer feel apart of it.

  9. either i get them high enough after 2c that makes most of 236a whiff and the Break Shoot completely whiff that will drop the combo. maybe thats the problem, i can't find that medium. between the break shot whiffing and the break shot pushing back. needs to find the timing.
  10. doing it as fast as i can, 2c and swinging it around to 236 ad, if i do fast, than she just falls out after i charge the orb. i don't get pushed back but she is too high for 5cc to connect. if i delay it i get pushed back. i think the problem is with my 662c, as i pick her up right before she hits the ground, but i can't seem to get her any further up.
  11. Still need tips getting 236ad to connect correctly on noel. I donno if I'm dashing to late on 2d or what. but either i get knocked back to far, or she recovers too high for the 5cc to connect.
  12. nods nods, i guess i should just get in the habit of dashing for everyone. Maybe its just me, but i am really liking the ender of 214 acd for my combos.
  13. having problems with 2d 2c 236 ad on smaller characters like noel. If I dash I can hit the 2c but then the orb knocks me too for back up to follow up with a dash 5cc it seems. Anytips, or is my timing just off?

  15. Eh, its more just for a some basic match up experience. IE Relius. Sort of starting to understand that match up. But i still hate it.

  18. no real reason. just make sure you delay the 5cc after the 2d as long as possible.

  21. ^ to add to that. I felt stronger because people feared makoto , the idea of pressing a button leading to huge damage and corner carry scared people. Now that people aren't afraid to tap a jab or mash out of your pressure showed a lot of gaps in my pressure Anyways, my problem is I play makoto a lot like a street fighter character. strong ground game, but my air feels weak and lacking. Any tips on how to control air space with makoto because i seem to fail at it.

  23. So far we have two teams. so we can just go straight to grand finals..... I'ma agree with James. If its a side tournament cut the price. If its 5 dollars give it main game respect. Doesn't have to get a lot of stream time.
  24. same here, haven't had much play time with extend. Nor any time in the lab.
