Mhm. While looking on some replays online I caught Overdrivers do this: 623A > j.236D > j.214D > (Slight delay) 6CC > 236B > 214B > 22B If you use the 6CC immediately they'll be too high for 236B to connect and you'll have to go for the air combo. I think the damage is about 2.2k, and not sure on the heat gain but I'll try my best to get it down. You could go for the 6CC route after 623D > j.236D > j.214D too but the IAD combo you can do off it surpasses the latter.

I can agree with you there. It's always a pleasure to watch Konan and Kuresu play.

I'm assuming they're all corner combos? What's the heat gain? Cool. ^Thanks. Good stuff.

Was really good. Forgot about the air knockdown > j.D > J.236D > j.214D.

I'll add both combos. Use whatever works for you guys. Thanks. It's fine. Usually when I list combos I list 22B as my default but like I said before use whatever works and consider situations.
-
There was some nice play there. Glad to have watched them. Ah, I still find it quite overwhelming that I can be very influential on people but I'm not gonna let my modesty take over this. That's fantastic. Thanks. Also, that's the Rachel announcer. Type B.

Thanks for the combo. 22B/C both have their distinct uses. For instance, the 22C allows you to use Bat's 3CC trick earlier because the untechable time is lower. It doesn't really matter which one is listed but you guys know that you could use either. It'll be up to you guys to decide which one is best for the situation. Like I said before, I'm not in a position to play the game or test things so I'm not going to make an assumption as to what could be added to the combo to optimise it. I figured more stuff could be added because a 3C starter is decent. I meant that so far, that's the most you could do, or as far as we know.
-
I'm not in a position to play, which is why I asked all those questions. Normally I just boot it up myself and experiment of course if I could. I would have done so as soon as you listed the combo. Velvien's combo looks more legit because you're getting more hits in and so the HG should definately be much more than the standard 6A FC combo, not to mention the Repeat proration on 6CC. Also I did not know the j.236C had to be perfomed with a TK.

What?! Who's the drunk culprit?
-
What?! That combo looks so spiffy, but what's the damage and heat gain? Can't you end with the 236B > 214B > 22B? In addition, is the 6C > j.236C > 5A link hard?
-
No problem. Glad to be of service. I thought that combo was in the combo compilation but I just checked and it's not. I'll add that. That's the best you can get from a 3C FC midscreen with one stock. Thanks.
-
Yea you're right, though I just don't like how 6B has very limited options afterwards. Advanced inputs do work for me though. It's what I usually do. This is not a good look.

Yea. Apologies about that. Thanks.

Must be my generousity getting the better of me. I should probably use Tsubaki's more often too. I could get a drink in the mean while.

Peak. And I was doing them off stream too...

Does anyone use 2C on block? I used to do it to vary my pressure but ultimately for pressure purposes it's not that good. I think it's only good against Tager when you want to get away from him if you use a blockstring for instance. 2C pretty much limits your options. 2CC followup can be crouched and then you can be punished, and air pressure can be thrown out of or AA'd if they're paying attention, or if you use it multiple times. Your only choice would be to end with 22C, and even then that's not so tight. I see Tsubaki's 2C like Ragna's 6A. I've also grown to dislike followup pressure from 6B because of what guys have been saying earlier about being poked out of. I guess 6B > 22C is good for keeping your opponent honest in blocking, and 5CC > 6B works against mashers, but as a pressure tool I personally don't think it's that good. I don't know if anyone used this either, but a jump cancel IAD crossover into j.D > j.C can be beaten with a 5A. Something else I used to try to vary options. I guess I was trying to be fancy with pressure but it's better to just keep it plain and simple with short pressure strings and charge cancels consisting of throws and 2As. 5CC(delay) is good for getting mashers too but note if you delay it for too long you can be thrown out of it.

GGs to all guys. Had fun. Missed my Sturm wolf > Flug corner combo but it's all good.
-
Either. Hitting them would reduce the untechable time for the unblockable 22D. Letting them hit the floor gives you more time to charge for instance. I think I've answered the question correctly? On a side note you can do this midscreen to corner combo: Throw > 236C > 214B > 22B > 6C > 22B for 1.9k. Not that much difference in damage w/o the 6C > 22B, but every little helps, and it certainly assists in the heat gain.
-
Also one last thing: This 623C > j.214A(w) > 214D link is Makoto specific. I don't think anyone would use this though because we have better options but I'm just letting you guys know. Of course, I can not take complete credit for noticing this as Daedron helped with this. So thanks.

Heh. Uh also, the air combo loop into the dash 5CC > 2C > 236C > 22B ender is easier against characters with bigger hitboxes and easier against everyone else when you have them in the corner. For example, I was able to consistently to land the air loop > 5CC > 2C against Jin in the corner, but that was not the case midscreen.
