  2. I knew the charge > 5C > 2C pickups were quite handy from when Muramura was using it, but it's nice to know that they're that good in that it's granting Tsubaki with one whole stock. Nice to also know that 6BB also has a lot of untechable time to allow a full charge 22B followup.
  3. I didn't forget. I didn't add it because you don't have to. Before I made the edit to the Taokaka video it was working fine without the s. Thanks. Uploading, and will post link when done. Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv--1b2lAcQ
  4. Definately. Athena Nihonbashi 6/3 Taokaka vs Tsubaki 6/17 Tsubaki vs Kikuchiyo (LI) Konan I see what you did there in those Playspot Big One matches, and I don't like it.

  6. You mean 623A > j.214A/B stuff? It sounds like something I would do but unfortunately I don't remember lol.
  7. GGs it wasn't bad at all. Anytime.
  8. Guess I'll try 0 bars now...
  9. GGs to those I played. 1 bar is my limit but I'd welcome playing people on 0 bars. I barely get anyone when I host rooms anyway.
  10. There is a hefty reliance on 3C throughout those matches and most of the time you got belted for doing it. Do not throw it out like that although I know you spotted this for yourself. I also don't agree with the use RC you used in the 5CC > 22B > 3CC > RC > 2CC > Special ender at 9:29 because you could've saved the heat for something much more worthwhile. Ideally the combo could've been optimised with 5CC > 6BB > 236C > 214B > 22B. I think you ought to stop using 22A enders because they have the most recovery and it hampers your pressure advantage, so use 22B. With your bnb combos use 236A/214A > 22B enders. 22B has the most untechable time. You also do not seem to be very mobile, and so Dreiko isn't gonna have a hard time getting onto you. You could remedy this by using IADs both backwards and forwards. Furthermore when you knock Dreiko down, most of the time you back away. Sometimes he did have the heat so you could've been avoiding a reversal which is alright and all but at the same time you're not giving Dreiko a hard time. His answer is always going to be to save the heat and get out with ease. Pressure could be better because it seems a little one dimensional. You're going for really basic stuff and then when you reset pressure, you're not close enough for the moves to connect, making them whiff. It also gives Dreiko the chance to escape or punish the recovery of your whiffed normals. Try to incorporate faster/shorter mixups into your game, like 5A/2A pressure, 5C/5B > Charge cancel stuff and more throws. You can also get more information on blockstrings from the Tsubaki wiki. In neutral you're whiffing a lot of normals, especially 5CC which you seem to be doing alot, and I'm not sure why you're pressing buttons on your wakeup. Dreiko is just getting unecessary CHs on you so the best option is to just block (DPs are the exception ofc). 236x is pretty useless in this matchup because Bang has nails, so you really shouldn't be using it at all. Instead, when you're full screen away, you should either be focusing on charging (you don't really do that and unblockables can help with your corner mixups), or trying to manouvere around Bang's nails. Remember, Bang has no real viable reversal option on his wakeup outside of meter use so throws and unblockables are good if you want to avoid getting hit by drives.

  20. 10/12/11 Shadow (RE) vs Masashi (VK) Kaqn (RG) vs Masashi (VK) Yea i know how you feel I didn't have the same intention either. Sometimes I use Rozen to get CHs, part of that mind game trick where I make my opponent think I'm not going to do anything. Like usually I do nothing after 5C. Not saying that this is a good tactic guys!
  21. Oh fair enough. There isn't much time for that unfortunately, and sorry, to clear things up, I was referring to Hazama's Gashoukyaku, not Hotenjin. If that caused confusion, sorry man.
  22. Yeah you can do 5B CH > 6B but I believe that would lead to the inferior combo. I think you can do 5B CH > 6B > 5C > tk.214B but for that to work you need to be really close to your opponent otherwise the tk.214B would whiff, making it a little inconsistent. 5B CH > 6B is the way to go midscreen though. The downfall of the setups is that they usually require the opponent to tech, otherwise you're not really making the most out of it. Another setup you could use is the one I stole from Zekuso which is one of the reasons I uploaded those matches haha. He uses the cannons into j.C and rather than following up with the 2A > 5B > 2C, he uses j.D > j.B. If they opponent techs after j.C they will have to block j.B and then you're free to do whatever you want, being a command grab, or IOH j.A. If they don't tech, j.B will blue beat and then they will still have to face your mixup so you're not really losing out on much here.
  23. Thanks for showing us Shyn, and just like Dreize I have been really curious to how you played! I watched up to your matches with Huey and I have a few minor things to say: Against Vista's Hazama, when you blocked his wakeup reversal, you could've strengthened your punish by using 5B CH > 6C > 2C > 6B > 2C > tk.214B > 4 Cannons. Also, is there any particular reason why you don't use the various wolf enders? They could be more useful rather than ending with the regular combo sometimes. I really like how you use w[j.A > 5B > 236B > j.236B > 7C > j.D >] j.C > 2A > 2C > 6C when your near the corner. It's something that I need to be doing much more since I usually revert to the w[5A/j.A > 5B > IAD > j.B > 3C > j.A] > 5D > 2C > 6C. Dreize has covered the other points which is why I don't have much to say, but other than that, your Valk is good man. Keep it up. Thanks man! Really appreciate it! No problem man. I'll probably upload a few more later on. Enjoy.
