  1. I would actually commend 5B. Although it's not + on block anymore and can be tackled by attacking her lower body (Noel's 3C for example) it has it's uses in neutral. It confirms into 6C nicely on CH even from max range, it's jump cancellable and it's safe from max range too. The abuse of 5B really depends on the character you are playing against. Against Tager it is almost a necessaity whereas you'd want to ease the use against Noel or Mu.

  3. If the first one is blocked I would opt for anything else than 2CC. 2CC ocassionally whiffs and leaves you vulnerable for attacks

  6. This post I made earlier is worrying. Now you guys know me. I am not an elitist person nor do I like enjoy being rude, but lemme say this before this gets misinterpreted in the way I don't want it to. I didn't mean that if you're not good that you shouldn't post, that mentality is extremely retarded and anyone like that deserves to be flogged because this is what being a community is all about. Let's take an example. Sure I may be one of the better Tsubakis, but you guys will be surprised as to how much I learn from you guys. Errol is more knowledgable and creative about Tsubaki's tech than I am. What I mean, is that, when I see something like, it's ridiculous how people can DP through Tsubaki's 5CC, or that 2CC needs to hit crouching, it generally sounds like you need to spend more time with Tsubaki. We were all there in the beginning. I used to complain about Tsubaki's gatlings, but now I've made an effort to vary my blockstrings a lot more, keep it short and sweet, and BatousaiJ has taught me to avoid being afraid of DPs because I'm just sacrificing my pressure potential. Just thought I'd throw that out.

  10. 5A > 5B frame traps. 5A > 5C is too tight to frame trap, is what I learned. Though surfeit is right in that a delayed 5C will work.

  12. Think of doing 2C frame trap as a mini risk. If your opponent blocks it, then you have no choice but to go with a special cancel, jump cancel pressure (useful against characters who don't really have a viable AA) or IAD away. IAD sacrifices your pressure momentum, but if you special cancel, 22X can be used to frame trap. Anything else may result in you getting poked out.

  16. Lol! Yea you did actually and it means so much! I'm gonna lastly say this unless anything else pops into my head. You guys are now realising tsubaki's limits, but I strongly feel that some of you need to get better first in order for your arguments to hold any real credibility. That's the honest truth. Mac if they can't see my point I would understand, well some of them anyway.
  17. Pointing out the faults of a character is totally understandable, I like reading stuff like that, but when it's being repeated over and over again it becomes pretty meh. You're not gonna get anywhere by complaining. Better to find ways around it and suck it up or use someone else tbh. I mained CS1 Tsubaki and I was entering tournaments with her and winning so nuff said really.
  18. Ah, I didn't specify that I was referring the corner and I was primarily referring to EX. I don't find any serious issues with Tsubaki.
  19. Thanks for the input, I'd like to comment on this however. I would think the D version is useful outside of following up with 236D because the D version has faster startup and better recovery than the C version, making it more useful in neutral. It just sounds like you need to vary your blockstrings a lil more. It's not sometimes they can counter 5BB > 6A with 2A, it's all the time if their reactions are good. If you have enough balls you could counter Tsubaki's 6A with a 5B/5C even. Ragna can counter 6A with 5B. If your opponent is countering your 5C > 6B with 2A, it sounds like you're too close to the opponent. If you spaced it, you would score a CH. In addition, why not just frame trap with 5CC(delay)? As for the comment about Ragna, Gauntlet Hades may be 20f but it's unsafe, and the followup is unsafe as well. In CP, you can just jab him out of the 2nd hit. Ragna is taking a risk using GH, whereas we have a safe way to cancel 6A, being 6A > 5C. Also in CP, we have the command grab. Remember we have throws too, you get more damage from a throw than a 6A anyway... Now I don't mind the complaints but this just falls down onto the fact that you have these tools and you just have to be creative with what you do. Btw Surf, 2BB can be delayed but the delay is smaller than the other normals like you said. I'm only saying this because that comment seemed to be a 'you can't do it but you can' which confused me. Anyway, Let's try some FAQS shall we? Why does Tsubaki's 2CC whiff on crouching? It's so annoying and I get punished for it!! ...you don't need to use 2CC on a crouching opponent, on hit (unless you're playing against Tager) or block. If you are doing it on block all you need to do is 2C into a jump/special cancel. If you're not satisfied with that, then don't use it on block at all, it's not even necessary. What's the benefit of 2CC hitting on crouching anyway? Essentially you want to give 2CC a horizontal hitbox which would make no sense. Why is Tsubaki's 2B so slow?! I dunno send a tweet to Mori or something.
