  5. We're only doing our job, but thanks!
  6. Thanks PK~ I can't seem to find the other videos either, but as you said it's not too much of a big deal. Edit: Found the rest except the Relius match from the Leebros stream, but iirc that match was not something to note so it's all good.
  7. w.5A is not a low.

  11. Nah it's not a typo. You can use any version but I listed j.236B because its more consistent using it on a grounded opponent. I've had situations where the j.236A would hit when it's supposed to whiff.
  12. Like which ones? Valkenhayn may not have harder MUs because of the changes made to him per se, but because of the changes made to other characters which may have made them stronger, such as Tsubaki who has better neutral control. The only real thing that hurts Valk in the long run is the reduced damage, so it means we have to work harder.
  13. Moved the posts since they getting off that topic. You can use 22D, charge and then still be able to combo you are correct. However, from a 5C CH in the corner, you can get 4.1k. CH 5C > 6CC > 623C > j.236B(w) > J.214D > j.D > j.C > Dash 5C > 2CC > 236C > 5C > 2C > 236C > 214C > 22B If you are having trouble with the j.D > j.C, it may be preferable to stick with your original combo FatalCounter.
  14. I personally wouldn't use any of those combos from a 5C CH. I would do either: 5C CH > 6C© > Mugen > 623D > j.236D > j.214D > IAD combo or 5C CH > 6C© > 214D > IAD combo. You're right in that 6CC does not work on everyone, so instead, use 5C CH > 6C > 214D
  15. Ima-Chan (IZ) VS Hikaru (RG)
  16. Yea it's not special cancellable. It's already sounding a lot like Valk's 6A in that it guardpoints head and body attribute, and gatlings from 5A (I suspect 2A too but eh). Both characters have good BDs anyway. Guard point for Valk starts up at 5 frames, soooo we'll have to see.
  17. Gonna go ahead and place Koichi for notable players for now. I think he deserves it, right? When/if more footage of him comes up I'll make a seperate video list for him.
  18. I would highly advise against using 236C as a backdash punish. Attempting so can lead to guessing for the low reward through the high risk of getting punished and placed in a disadvantageous position. Though fair enough it can be covered with 214D/22D, but again if they're blocked you're in for it. It's only really useful for drive follow ups to catch players off guard and to punish opponents whiffing attacks at long range. Even then 236D is better, and as TGR said even 3C will suffice if they are not that far provided you have the heat to compliment it. 236C is also useful for getting under players if you have to. It's also extremely useful against valk players who like to run around in .

  22. Another move like that is Schwarz Jagd. In EX it rewards Valk with about 12 heat, which is cool. Now that I look at it, it may appear to be a universal change to those who had moves like this. Hells Fang + followup gives about 4 heat in CP, so yea. Looks like that ditched that characteristic on some moves.
  23. His meter gain is actually quite good in extend. Any combo involving 2+ cannons (which is 95% of the time) will give you a good amount of heat. I didn't see that. All I remember seeing was that Valk was the only character not to achieve at least 5k.
  24. ...6A only has a slight similar animation to 6B......that's one other move. @mucky: Tsubaki players using 6A against Tager have a lot of balls.
  25. This hasn't been mentioned yet, but Valk's meter gain has also been nerfed. Konig wolf barely gives you any heat.
