For the record everything that im gonna be posting is my new opinion on this character based on everything ive learned from basically travelling and playing non stop around the country for the past couple of months so please dont bring up the past because I know its different then what I use to say JAM BREAKDOWN - Pokes - Her pokes do a pretty decent job when your inside but thats the problem you gotta get in the only real reliable pokes you have is 2s and FB puff(lol) and 2s doesnt even work in a bunch of match ups. YOU HAVE TO MAKE THEM SCARED TO HIT A BUTTON if you cant do this then most likely your going to get poked to death and eat counter hits left and right and then you just have to basically run around and random them out Pressure/Lockdown - If they dont have the fear inside them the lockdown/pressure game is weak as hell because you basically have to fear them hitting a button while your trying to get some form of offense started. If you do happen to put the fear in them then your match up is much better off because no you can abuse things like reg puffballs, 5hs with out being scared of being fded out and then mashed, throw mixups, j2k Okizeme - Besides IAD dp on wake up, and the corner choujin gimmicks she has nothing that is specifically used on peoples wake up Air to Ground - If they go for an anti air your pretty much dead the only thing you have is 2k because it delays you in the air a bit Ground to Air - Umm she has a bunch of things that can be used but everything is character specific as hell and has to be spaced and timed perfectly also she has parry so I guess once you learn her she has decent anti air game Defense - less then average defense she has IB - Parry, and I guess you can mash out some quick pokes in gaps if you want Overall - Jam....unfortunately is an ok character who would have horrible match ups across the board but she was blessed with fast speed, big damage, and alot of gimmicks so basically you gotta outsmart your opponent(notice I didnt say outplay) MATCH UPS - 6.0 - 4.0 : Dizzy, I-no, Johnny, Bridget, Anji 5.5 - 4.5 : Millia, Zappa, Ky, Venom, Axl 5.0 - 5.0 : Jam, Robo, Sol, May, Chipp, ABA 4.5 - 5.5 : Baiken, Pot, Eddie, Testament 4.0 - 6.0 : Faust, HOS, Slayer Anyway for the match ups im gonna be breaking it down into different parts Opening: Okizeme: Punishes: Counters: Anti Airing: Their Strategy: Your Strategy: Combos: Zoning/Spacing im not even gonna mention because its always the same you dont have range dont be inside theirs unless you planning to do something

yea im sure overall it was something else entirely but once you pinned them down everyone becomes the same person if you play her properly.....they become an eddie player desperate to escape and they shouldnt be able too

Frame trapping is always the best option because theres literally nothing he can do it about it at evo world I was playing gibson and when I would get inside the match was usually over and when I play ogawa I expect the same Throw baiting is a pretty damn cheap because you either get 6hs or a grab but if your going for a throw bait and he sees it coming he can just jump and js, jhs, land 2p, 2d and then your in trouble if he doesnt jump then hes pretty much in the worst situation possible unless he mashes on punch

It sounds to me like you were losing because your frame trapping ability just werent good enough not because of match up experience your not gonna be able to properly frame trap or properly bait someone whos just flat out better then you no matter how hard you try I guess you just gotta step that game up You dont seem to do anything but jump around and try to land random IADs....... Watch jam vids and actually look at what they do they dont jump around waiting for a good time to AD in and hope they land a hit Also you werent teching any of the combos they were all black....

As a jam player you should learn how to basically negate FD using speed and gaps

IMO the jam vs eddie match up is a mixture of RUSH THAT NIGGA DOWN and Risk/Reward When eddie is out you have to play with eddies head basically you to bait him to make little eddie do something(mawaru/nobiru) and then run in 2.d it jc the 2d and then proceed to fuck eddie up for that little amount of time he has no pet Random things that go through my head when im fighting eddie - FB through eddie invincible points to make eddie block and get rid of eddie - Block string into summon eddie into mawaru doesnt work if you use 2p - Mawaru is completely useless on block agianst jam - A really high ad 214K is un 6Pable - Once your inside theres no reason why you shouldnt hit him FRAME TRAP THAT BITCH - IAD back at the beginning of the match card is a free card unless he move forward at the beginning which eddie wont do most likely - Eddies hit box is FREE theres no reason to scale your damage when you hit him by doing K in your wall loop you should be doing on 2hs, 6hs, hs If eddie isnt out the match becomes a 0-10 match up in jams favor eddie flat out stands no chance while eddie is put away FD should mean absolutely nothing to you as a Jam player FD is a joke against jam

Actually the hits do matter since the more hits the more scaling and the combo is pretty much the same in almost every situation except from wall to wall where you would add an extra 236s, hs and then the combo is the same.....

you make it sound so complicated when it really isnt its not a link its a cancel...you hit fS and once you see it hit you do 2369K theres nothing else to it you literally just do it theres no secret to it TK ryuujin is way better becuase it involves less hits(usually 1-2 but still damage is damage) and it takes them to same place

your exactly right about all 4 Testament 1. its alot harder for him to keep you out then it is for you to get in 2. 25% tension and now you have complete control of the match and he cant do shit 3. disarming traps is a peice of cake when your a pixie character May actually its the complete opposite Jam has to make the mistake for may to get damage you just wait and eventually she has to make the move becuase you have mixup she doesnt Robo HAS to turtle in the beggining of the match becuase he has no meter that is why you rush him from the start his pokes arent gonna beat yours all he has is 5hs and DPs to save him from Jam
