To be honest i don't think we can sell stuff because Blazblue materials (regardless whether you reproduce it as is or sell it with changes to pass off as 'transformative work') isn't our intellectual property D= I thought the shirts and other mats will be prizes and giveaways? I can join in for the ingress on the 2nd of September as well. @Gelo: Kaw na si Count sa Sesame Street XD @Aile: I think maganda yung ideas na yun sa shirts like the one you mentioned for Tager "Power of Science". Para siyang quote shirts i guess, ok rin. @vet-related thing: Hmmm I'm thinking that the free-play /side event booth should cater more for the casual gamers who might want to join tournaments while the Sunday tourney (if we decide to go with it because we can actually go without one) will be leaning towards gamers who want a more fighting game setting (yung mga medyo seryoso). From experience, its the casual gamers that usually say that they wont join due to Aga Muhlachs. So i think targetting two types of target markets would work well for us. @Mark: I can bring Pete's ps3 on the 2nd or the 3rd, pero nagloloko yung AV cord so i suggest brining an extra one just in case D= Suggestion: -If we manage to borrow a projector I think we can hold a brief 'overview' session on what the different characters do. -You guys wanna make a schedule for the 'bigger side events' like exhibition matches and stuff para informed yung mga interested people on what we have and at what time should they come? Tapos yung other side events pede siyang ongoing all day

I think we can discuss the options further especially 1 and 2 once we've finalized the volunteers para alam natin yung bilang. Personally I'm leaning more to option 2 (casuals saturday, tourneys sunday), but lets all try to decide narin what games we'll put on a tournament after we do logistics. XD Yung sa 4th point, yun usually mentality ng mga iba. Ako rin dumaan sa phase na yun XD. I think what we can do are the following suggestions: 1.) Use subs like Ry suggested 2.) Still join and use mains 3.) Not join at all 4.) Sign up at last minute 4.) Put Dix in a pinata -Lets try to maximize the 64-man (unless no limit na yung count) for documentation purposes. -Can we have games such as 'random visitor will draw from a box kung sino kakalabanin niya, if he wins he gets a prize' if we decide to go with saturday all day other activities/games? Entrance to tourney is still P50 naman right (unless we decide to change it)? Btw suggestion lang, lets use pool system for this to help players in their waiting time EDIT: Do you guys want to have a LIVE discussion before the 27th to talk about stuff?

Yung sa manpower suggest ko lang we ask other people na di laging nakaka participate sa pag man ng booth para lang sa future events it'll be less pressure for them rin =D Community building effort narin in a way Btw, the dates are still tentative. EDIT: -The venue will be in megatrade hall 3. No mention whether they will add another hall, but i think there is a chance that we might get a smaller space than before. EDIT2: -Contact person said that we can have the same space as before XD -We can tell people about this, which means its not tentatively scheduled but sept 3-4 na for sure -We don't have to pay anything like before, we'll pay them by marketing their event. If we're going with prizes lets go with what we did before, winner take all =P

There will be an upcoming event TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED sept 3-4 which will be held in Megamall and we are invited to participate. If we're game for it i think we should discuss it as early as now rin: Space and facilities -We'll prolly be given the same amount of space as before in Megamall, but in case na mas maliit ang ibigay they'll provide us with dimensions and estimates rin kasi our activities might be depend rin sa space allocated XD -I think they'll probably provide the same amount of chairs and tables as before. Hopefully we can get a divider from them narin. I'll ask this once na finalize yung space na ibibigay nila Logistics -Volunteers pls -I'll also ask other people if we can borrow equipment such as projectors (yes we're allowed to use projectors =D) or other misc items that the convention cannot provide such as additional chairs. MAN Power -We'll try to create a time table this time around so everyone can experience the convention rin. So we'll be asking for volunteers within a week or two para we can work something out XD Feedback -We've had no complaints from ozinefest or from anyone so far regarding our participation =D Misc -We are permitted to leave our equipment like last time as well. Just talked to the project manager of the best of anime 2011 event 1.) Willing to give a discount for 4x4 sqm area from 28k to 15k OR a 4x2 sqm for 8k instead of 15k. 2.) All reg.fee goes to prize 3.) We'll be considered as sponsors, thus they'll announce our contests and stuff things to consider: -2 day event : september 17-18 -its tied up with another event "manila book fair" My vote:

We made a Blazblue Fan art book made by several artists in our country (Philippines) who are players and those who just like the appeal in BB's character design. It was a giveaway for those who attended the ranking battle held last saturday, July 30, 2011. @Raf: Dix talked to me na. I'm ok with the idea of having a tourney at philcoa hosted by kalay otaku since the group has done a good job naman with their previous tourneys. I think the others will agree to it rin, especially the north players. @allan: afaik they're the ones who volunteered about sponsoring a prize. If they're willing to sponsor in kind nalang (in this case, discounted rent), instead of the prize then that works for us rin. So if they're still keen about it then go ahead.

Checked the list yesterday. I know there'll be lots of Makotos there, but seeing the list with my own eyes just made me root for a Tsubaki, Tager, or Lambda to win the entire tournament. Road to RANBATS! Event for the weekend >Michi's Bday @iplay SATURDAY - Michi on the "Frozen Throne" aka ikot ni Michi sa Saturday while sitting in that cold cold area. Iron woman challenge. - There will be food and drinks, but i highly suggest that anyone who will be going should inform her via facebook (either on her wall or via bbph wall) - Casuals are still a go. I do suggest we don't throw a tourney to keep the hype for july30. However, we can go with "UNLIMITED" matches or some random wtfuckery tournament on that day na single elims, pero POOL SYSTEM para ma gets lang ng mga ibang tao. OR we can just have normal casuals and state it as "check out the scene and start practicing, one week left" sorta thing. but wait there's more... >Casuals at DTier and Name that Kitty Tourney - According to DTier bros, the event will carry on to Sunday at Dtier. And there will be a "name that cat" tourney. Pa confirm Ma/Lan, thanks. =D - Its prolly going to be another multi-game tourney or maybe a single-game tourney lang this time around. G! And next weekend its going to be BBPH SECOND SEASON RANKING BATTLES!!! and after that's over and you still have enough energy and internet powers, you can go watch the streaming events happening during EVOLUTION 2K11!!!

Hazama being S tier since CS1 HOHOHOHO. Yeah truth, Hazama can match Makoto in terms of the tools needed. Di ko lang alam about damage output because i think mak still has the advantage there. Pag approach tingin ko mas marami si hazama. and di ko gets bakit may A-. Lagay nyo nalang sa A tier kasi hahaha. And IMO mas interesting tingnan yung B and C tier.
