The gameplay is solid. I haven't run into any glitches yet. There IS a button that fills both of your meters (and causes Rarity to freeze) but im pretty sure its only there for demonstrational purposes. Have you played it yet? It's just an Alpha version of the game, but at least it doesn't have characters flying offscreen indefinitely. (actually i did see a video of pinkie pie flying off the screen like megaman but someone said they messed with the coding of the game) and that's a big step in the write direction.

I dont have time to sit in a corner. I bought two PC controllers when i heard about this game. After using them i realized that I have to sand/file the sharper than knives edges on these D-pads. Then im gonna test them out. Then I'll never play this build again. Because playing on an out-of-date build will only teach me bad habits that i'll have to unlearn once the final build is released.

I couldn't resist... I really really didnt wanna be "that guy" and download it, but then i thought WWPPD....so i came to the conclusion "Let's Party:toot:" I am REALLY impressed with it so far. The combo system allows for a lot of creativity and depth. The animations are fluid and the sprites look great. Whatever Mane 6 is doing, they're doing it right! If this is any indicator of the quality to expect for the future, then im hype as fuck. It's funny, their unfinished version still feels more polished than a finished Capcom game. With that said, Yes i am ashamed of myself.

Oh well... As far as the minions; If they have full-sized minions following your character, it's just gonna be one big cluster fuck on the screen if each character gets one. I assume they'll only show up when certain conditions are met (find an item on screen, getting X amount of kills in a row, using meter, etc) for a limited amount of time. Or maybe you just equip one at the beginning of the match and they slightly alter stats/make small changes like in Arcana Heart. That's the only way i could see it working without mass confusion.

New Dante, im in. Im a sucker for creative reboots. Lets put it this way: what if batman never got darker and more bad ass, or if final fantasy kept the simplicity of the first few before 6, or if my little pony stayed a girls show. As long as the remake doesn't cheapen the original, i say...yeah, be creative, do your thing, and show me what you got. The concept for the new DMC is fuckin cool. I wont consider it a true DMC but its a solid re-imagining that's a little more grim. Honestly Dante had two good runs in the DMC series (1 and 3). Even though 4 was awesome, Nero was the star as far as storyline. Everyone's suckin Dante's demonic dick, but no love for Gene's godly gonads? SHAME!!!

yeahh and hakumen shouldn't have a shield when he counters..... You should be able to counter whenever without your opponent knowing. but seriously, it looks like its a freeze frame move that you can do pre hit.

Rarity's Level 3 puts her opponent behind a dressing curtain, then when it falls, She's tightening a girdle around her opponents waist. They showed a lot of stuff for a lot of characters, but im just mentioning the Pinkie stuff because that's gonna be who i play as. Also rarity looks like she could use some buffs. I think they were afraid of make her the next CT Nu, so they turned her into a CS Rachel. Also in Stream chat: ****1: Applejack is my favorite pony. ****2: You're such a tier whore.

New Level. Pinkie's Level 3 acts kinda like Blood kain/ Devoured by Darkness. She goes into Pinkamena Mode, and hugs the opponent to death. Pinkie's magic meter depletes everytime she uses her Party cannon. Once the Magic meter is empty, the cannon breaks. The things she shoots out of the cannon seem to be at random and do different things. -Flower pot hits twice. -Gummy walks toward the opponent and trips them. -The present flies high. update: it seems to fly straight as well? -The chicken shoots straight. -The pear shoots straight and fast. -You can "fake" shoot the cannon. (doesnt cost meter) She also has 4 different teleports. -Runs backwards off the screen and comes down from the ceiling. -Runs backwards off the screen and comes from a box underneath the opponent. -Runs backwards off the screen and ends up behind the opponent. -Runs backwards off the screen and comes back to where she was. (fake out) She's also the only character in Fighting game history that can run backwards (as fast as she can run forward while still facing the opponent). it's the funniest looking animation i've seen in a fighting game since Platinum's floaty "swallow moon" move. (or SFxT Megaman's "Fly me to the moon" glitch)

Dr. B and Gon are the only one's from the tekken universe that aren't there. Gon's copyrighted (but he's in a new game that's made by namco, so you never know). They could always pull the Capcom card and add Really really evil Kazuya. besides...the game ONLY has 55 characters so far. Im sure there's room on the character select screen for 5 more.

If its like Platinum, it doesnt make much of a difference since you see the next one. You just play your next combos accordingly. It just forces you to play a certain way for a certain amount of time, or you can just discard and try your luck again. Its like Tira in SC, expect the worst and you'll be fine :P

They said Pinkie Pie is a rushdown/charge character (frankenstein is what they actually said). Which shouldn't make any sense but im guessing buffering the charges mid combo has a lot to do with it. I hate charge characters but Pinkie is best pony (it's true, deal with it) so i guess i'll have to get used to it. Fluttershy will probably play a lot like an Eddy/Peacock hybrid. Having Angel play as Eddy, and have the other critters play the part of the zoning barrage.
