Hell, I see Hawk Eye as being better than Chris in a lot of aspects. He can cover horizontal space in the air which is something Chris just can't do. Pair him with an assist that covers the ground like Iron Man/Doom beams, Taskmaster h-arrows, or Strange's Bolts and he should piss off people sufficiently well.

I think it was Hazama. Also had a case where, against a different Haz, I guard broke him with lvl 3 Space Counter (lol wut) and Makoto kind of "dragged" him behind her as she moved. Then, once I recovered from the move he instantly recovered from the guard break. I really need to save my replays more often.

Well even in a "random" game you still need your fundamentals. Justin Wong wins practically every tournament he's in because he has amazing fundamentals. With how X-factor and the DHC glitch are used, most top tier characters can turn a hit into a kill into a mixup on the incoming character. It's fundamentals that determine whether or not you land that hit or block that mixup.

Vergil's level 3(4?) does 600k. Capcom REALLY wants people to take these new characters seriously.

God I hope so. It's hard enough to land 2C as a starter, much less a fatal.

Anybody heard anything about the supposed "reward" for people who had vanilla Marvel? I know it's probably something dumb, but I'm still interested.

I remember Seth said that different "kinds" of photos would give different results. In one of the videos, West does a normal BnB on RR and OTG's with the camera and that instantly gives him a level up, so they probably want you to use it mid combo. I'm sure just doing it normally would eventually get you a level up, albeit much slower. With the booze, West gets to max level with only 2 OTG photos with the trade off being that you have to protect him when he pukes or else eat a big combo.

Just checked, you can totally have multiple buttons do the same thing. As long as I don't use Taskmaster or Zero, I'd have that extra button free if I choose to use Wright.

I didn't know Marvel let you have multiple buttons doing the same function. I assumed it didn't because BB doesn't.

Man, I just realized I'm probably not going to be able to play Wright because I use pad. I'd have to change my whole button set up just to play him.

I've messed with it a bit a while back and I'm almost certain you can dash 2A afterwards.

Omni, have you done anything regarding the new air throw? I know I saw in one match video that you can rapid it into 2C>Whatever.

Be a bit more liberal about your usage of j.2C. A good opponent can see it coming and air instant block it make it difficult for your to do anything when you land. The higher in the air you are when you squirrel tail, the easier it is to see and punish. The general thing to do if you think someone is mashing on DP to get out of your pressure is to just bait it out. Try just stopping your blockstring and blocking to see if they're really mashing. If they're DP'ing on reaction to Asteroid Vision then just stop doing it so much.

I remember seeing in one of the loketests that 214A~D had longer range. Does anyone know if that's still in? I hope it is, because it's so fun to bait DP's with that move.

Is 2C the only real followup after a CH j.B? I seem to have a lot of trouble getting it to connect.

The bug with being unable to get Valkenhayn's achievements has been fixed in the patch. If you've earned the achievement for doing 7 of his challenges, you should get it as soon as you pop into challenge mode with someone.
