Wireless controllers can mess things up, because your controller remains synced to a console while someone else is playing a match. You might turn your controller on to sync it to another console, and mess up matches on the first in the process. It happened to EVO, and it can sure as hell happen to us.

I have a ride down now. I'll make the call Saturday morning whether I can come or not, but either way I wont be able to bring my PS3. On another note, do you know if you'll have AH3 by this blk_mage?

So turns out I might not be able to make it. I have surgery on the 21st. The procedure isn't super invasive, so I wont be bedridden or anything, but I'll still be groggy from the general anesthesia. Long story short, I can't come unless I get a ride. I'll just be even free-er than usual.

Just checked where this is, should (theoretically) be able to make it. I have a PS3 without DLC characters and no TV to accompany it. I can bring it if it would be helpful.

Shoutouts for trying to kickstart the Sacramento scene, and for running that tournament at A-1. Hopefully it wont be the last. Don't die, and we'll see you when you get back. $10 a head is really steep. I think a lot of people just wouldn't come if it was that much. Also, I think you officially deserve some sort of prize if you end up camping out to make NCI happen. Like a trophy or something.

That is total bullshit. As I recall, the Time Crisis series was one of the only machines they bothered keeping up to date. And if violent games are so much against his belief, why does he own an arcade? I guess it prolly came with the minigolf and the waterpark, but still. Leave it to Roseville to have our arcade be owned by Mormons.

I think they still have Tekken 3 around there somewhere, but I could just go to round table or something if I wanted to play Tekken 3. That game is everywhere.

I think they have a ST cab around there somewhere? And they probably still have that old Soul Calibur 2 cab. Would be nice if they got something more recent though, even if it's just SFIV or something. I haven't been by there in years, so I'm going to assume they still have the same crappy games they did 10 years ago. Maybe they've upgraded some of them though?

Could that also somehow make it easier to switch between GG and BB setups? It seems like that's been a large time sink in the past when you try to switch which game is on the stream.

Maybe I should mention that black beat astral Dacid failed to tech out of? Naw naw, I'm kidding; that didn't really happen.

It's because the mic volume is set for Dacid and Coopa shouting. if anyone gets on the mic and doesn't want to shout, they probably wont get heard. There's nothing really that can be done with it; either get the quiet people to start shouting more, or get Dacid to quiet down. One of these things is probably impossible.

There's no one I know of out there. Your best bet is to come out to the next NCI; it's almost always somewhere in the bay area, which doesn't seem to be too far away for you.

As always, I am happy to oblige them. EDIT: okay, so it's not JUST top 3, but you're missing like the first entire half of the tournament practically.

How about we try mutual respect? I mean, it sounds crazy, but just because qwerty doesn't play BB doesn't mean he doesn't deserve respect. Responding to people with unabashed aggression towards other players is not going to win you any friends. To be fair, qwerty could bash on BB a little less, but I haven't seen much of it lately. As well, when he bashes he usually has a point. And I don't think I've ever seen him just out and out attack someone. Either way, quit acting like a child.
