  4. someone plz help me with this all i got from sg beating on me was that i should 2a AA her alot because it beats all of her air moves except jumping staffless j.c and that was cause he yelled it at me lol
  5. um idk about playing it safe, you really dont wanna waste an opportunity to get in and ruin her day. while she does have very good footsies options you should be able to poke her out of her 5c with your own 5c and 5b when doing anything offensive against her try to be aware of her steins and what she has done with them that laser that keeps going despite you hitting(236d) is mainly what im talking about like you said 236b is godlike just be cautious of doing it but it can be great for pokeing her when shes trying to setup. i hate tk c ice sword in this match up tho i always regret doing it, while it can be useful to get her to block its just to slow and she react and respond accordingly i.e. getting you to have to stop your approach by blocking or w/e mu's love their dp cause its amazing, it might even be the best in the game, it has guard point and invuln its only downsides are its not Air unblock and its range isnt that great but still decent, bait it all day her anti airs are terrifying they both lead to pretty good damage and have head invuln but they can be shitted on with a very well timed jump in j.c and j.b but i dont recommend trying that to often when she is in the air be careful of her j.2c it halts her momentum and has a pretty low hitbox so 2a AA can lose to it BUT if she uses it incorrectly where she whiffs u can hit her cause of landing recovery ....you might wanna take everything i said with a grain of salt because when i fought cor i got bodied

  10. i wish i could help but i just don't know much about that cat except that her defensive options stink...i often play a somewhat defensive footsies game cause jin can fight tao's approach when he is on the ground, until i find a good opportunity to start my offense....like a corner id say its slightly in jins favor either 5.5 or 6 because i know little to nothing about tao and can still win lol mystic d would always whoop me in cs1 before he moved, i imagine he has some useful input for tao since jin is still really similar to his cs1 self just stronger

  13. its not really that good so don't get your hopes up but it is a better variant...barley o i forgot somthing if you do a 5b dp loop combo where the combo drops instead of you picking them up with 5a, instead of dp c after 6c do dash cancel dp d > dash 5c > 2c >6c > dpc its real good, example: dp d(2) > 6c > 623b > 6c > 623c > 5b > 5c > 6c > dash cancel dp d(2) > dash 5c > 2c >6c it gets like 5k iirc and the combo itself builds the heat
  14. :grin::grin::grin::grin: so good yutta was he played solid the entire time and made the right calls when he needed to, just beautiful. ronitta was great to but i fell he wasn't playing the haz macthup right he was to antsy. KC is just a boss at making great reads in the ronitta vid i saw him do somthin ive been meaning to talk about after i tested more often but school just takes up to much time...anywho at about 0:50 ronitta gets a 2d starter and does dash 6b > dash 5c > sekkajin > 6c > 623b > 214c for like 2700 or simthin. the link of dash 5c is mainly what im talkin about i see jins all the time just go for the 6b > sekkajin combo and that nets like a good 400 or so less dmg so there is no reason not to do it. you can do this link most of the time during a short combo where the proration is still good like 5c > 2d. the dmg difference isnt that big but enough for me to care lol another good combo that i dont see by others is 5c > 6c > dash cancel > 5c > 6c > dash cancel > super jump j.c > j.d > airdash > j.2c > j.c > land 5b > 5c > 3c > ender this nets great dmg and meter the main thing here is the dash cancel > super jump j.c > j.d > airdash part that gives better dmg and heat i almost have completly replaced this for the times where id normally do j.c > j.d > land > dash 5b > stuff. this is great for when you think the 6c> dc > 5c > 6c > 2d wont work like if they are to high or to far. but again the dmg difference isnt in the thousands but there is certainly no reason not to do this the last cool thing i know about is doing a jump move into land sekkajin like rising ch j.a > j.2c > j.c > land sekkajin > 6c > 2d > ender i love this combo cause it gets like 2k while still giving knockdown from a ch j.a, i use this surprisingly alot lol, but the land sekkajin part is still really good to know for other combos
  15. are you sure about that tager should be able 720 you out of it regardless if he is midscreen or corner the only reason he shouldn't is that you would be just out of his 720 grasp after the 3c pushback but 236d extends your hitbox so i imagine he will get you 90% of the time 100% if magnitized bout the atomic collider burst thingy i havnt tested it but i have seen akira do exactly what van is talking about, pulling in an airborne opponent who just bursted and having them land right next to him and he 360b them it was so clean lol my favorite tool against tager is j.c since he is so big itl make him block or hit him outa the air, and if you ever get a counter hit with it you get a free combo, while still giving you insane freedom, its great for long range neutral

  17. 5c is very good for stuffing taos when she tries to attack you with D attacks, thanks to its first high then long hitbox, but it has to be used to somewhat preemptively 5b works to but ive had much more success with 5c. tao is very good at controlling the pace of the match so having this tool will make her think twice about coming to you if you confirm it and start your offense which can be really scary for tao since she isnt very good on defense. also if you instant block cat spirit one and she goes for the follow up u can d dp, but you can prolly do this with all of the cat spirits
  18. lol thats clever ima use that...but im really looking forward to the new jin except for the hold C for sekkajin thing i can see there being a couple of problems with that, and 2d's height increase using that move as a AA might be a good idea now
  19. im pretty sure doing 2c > 6b would result in a 9 frame gap on the ground and 7 frame gap in the air

  23. well i think with the nerfs and combo changes they are trying to make it so jin dosnt get paid a retarded amount for anything he does ice arrow less damage and more recovery so probably no corner swap i.e much less appealing as a reversal with 6c change they are just making sure we don't get crazy corner carry and making 2c fatal more appealing since ch 6c gets possibly nothing with no 2c>5c and no 2b Jump cancel they are trying to limit us and be more cautious with pressure, so no more autopilot pressure and with the changes to the system it seems like you can get some1 in the corner but they can push you away and punish a whiffed move so you have to really think when it comes to pressure however this is just the first loketest and we will probably be seeing more changes in the later ones

  25. from stunedge [Jin] - 214A/J214A cause wallbounce when hit in air - 6A hit in air > 2B or 3C relaunch works - 2C>5C deleted, 2B is not JCable on hit/block - 6C cause opponent flies away much farther - 6C has longer untechable time, 6C>dc>2C or Bdp works when near corenr - mid screen chain>sekka>dash6C>2D works, 6C>dc>5C doesnt - 6C>dc>JC>JD doesnt work, 6C>dc>JC>icecar works, 6C>dc>JC>214A>5C>Bdp>6C>6D~ - not sure what works in 6C(ch), maybe 6C(ch)>dashdashdash>2D works, really hard to catch opponent - Ice arrow has much longer recovery time, opponent flies up much higher, longer untechable time, can combo into 6C still, much less damage-guarantee (around 500) - Corner DP loop stuff works as same, slightly different timing due to change of 6C - corner combo: B>C>Bdp>6A>3C>214A>5C>6C>6D>IADJ2C>JC>B>3C>214C - (unconfirmed) Adp might has invincible frame now, beat Ragna's 5B easily after 5B came out - 214C's techable timing is little bit changed, opponent bounces in a slightly different angle - Yukikaze, Touga, same thing my goodness jin is a new man but i really like the direction this is going i doubt 623a has invln frame its just really fast so it can stuff alot of things also at ice arrow nerf but it is pretty fair i guess its fair cause it can be put in just about anywhere in a combo no 2c>5c and 2b not JC make me very sad, i really hope these arnt true or come back
