  2. That 22D whiff... you think that was a bait? The 22D did recover fast enough not to be hit by the rather slow 623C but I don't think it was used intentionally as so. Would be spiffy if it was or there was an application in action there that I'm not aware of.

  6. I'd like to see more players use fuzzy j.BB stuff against Tager honestly, it's such an effective tool and I feel it's largely underused.
  7. Ya the C-DP not being projectile makes our match up with Tager a bit more manageable which is nice because the loss the 22D unblockable plays a huge part in that match up.
  8. Hummmm, I see. I'll try to catch the twitch stream but we know the Japanese streams can go onto ungodly hours so I would prefer to watch it on my time if it's possible. Excited to see what happens all the same, though.

  11. Sure, there's no "need" to be. But I do it, because I love you guys. When's a guy gonna get some appreciation for going the extra mile, huh? Also, I enjoy theory crafting as much as the next guy but I'd be the last to fall into the typical trappings of buying into various speculations without any hand on experience first.
  12. We talking CP? Oh man, I didn't know you guys got your copies in already and played all those games against a variety of characters with various skill levels to make that judgement call. I'm a little jealous.
  13. I'd have to screw around in the lab to see specific setups that might be reliable but off the top of my head I can't think of one that would be good to use all the time. Just some tricks that might catch people sleeping if they're not on their toes maybe.
  14. Guard break 22D(charged) combos are gonna be reaaaaaaaaaaaaaal sexy. I would wager you can break 4k without any more charge used off of that. Likely 6k+ with around 3.
  15. 5B is like one of our best meaty moves(active frames) and still a very good neutral move. I have no idea why you guys would think otherwise.
  16. Nice work~ There were some really interesting and creative stuff in there. Funny to see some of my stuff on a video that I didn't make, aha. I'll most likely make a CP video or two and if e want to make another dustloop exhibition few months after CP release we can cross that bridge when we get there. Oh and nice video to Kiba too. Pretty good work for a first effort at a CMV~ Keep em coming, buddy!
  17. Looking over the changes and what's been going with the core mechanics in CP, I think Tsubaki looks pretty average. She's not great but she's not bad either. Obviously it's far too early to say since we haven't even played the damn game yet but I'm just mentioning the vibe that I'm getting. Average is fine with me since it means we'll have to work for our wins as usual while up against a few uphill battles here and there. There are going to be some dynamics that's going to feel foreign and take time to implement into our overall gameplay styles(command grab use, charge gain moments, projectile covers, etc) so it's going to feel pretty fresh when we get back in with lots to screw around with which is not something we could've said for Extend(not even gonna mention our overall interest in Izayoi too). I'm looking forward to it~

  20. The thing that's going to hurt us the most in CP as opposed to extend is most likely going to be the 5BB reach and frames change. It's a subtle thing but it's just going to ruin people who doesn't adjust properly.
  21. Long live 623C~ Now it has the same invinc frames as our D variation did in EX which is fantastic. Any elaboration on this ground aura charge invincibility? You mean 5/2D?
  22. Unlimited Tsubaki has been consistently bad in all iterations of the game when compared to others and it doesn't seem much different here. Still that meteor DD seems spiffy at least. Would be fun to set up some dirty corner pressure with that as lock down =d.
  23. Nice, I hadn't used the 5C CH bait with a back dash. That'll be fun to add to my game come CP. Note that many of the things present here will still be viable in CP so don't write it off as a relic.
  24. Tsu's 2C is really good for a mid range reaction AA since it's got good active frames and solid hit box. What she lacks is like a Haz/Rags 5A short range AA. Her 5A hitbox is really lackluster. http://www.dustloop.com/guides/bbcse/hitbox/tsubaki/5A.html
  25. You don't use Tsu's 2C in crossover situations. You just jump and throw their ass.
