  1. I don't know how you used your Yukiko when you got that gem of a message but I'd reckon you probably didn't deserve it. Some people think anyone using autocombos is bad because... they're dumb so it's best to ignore them. It's their game, they can play it how they want honestly. Still, it is rather disheartening to have a public room open for a while and not get anyone coming in though but during night time, this isn't really an issue.
  2. Early and probably futile but I've got an hour to kill and I haven't played for like a week(again). Anyone east coast-ish wanna press some buttons with mehhhhhh~ Edit- Futile indeed. GGs to random Akihiko guy that rolled too much and shoutouts to dumb people on netplay with room names like "autocombo=kick".
  3. I don't find the Naoto match up all that difficult. Just know her DP is useless when you cross her up, her traps can be disarmed with quick A attacks and you can 236AB through her gun shots when she starts getting predictable with it. When you've got her cornered, she can do the EX roll to get out quickly but you can meaty that to get a CH before it goes into its invulnerable frames with something like 5B which has very good active frames. Be smart when and how you choose to use your bursts and save it for SMP loops and make sure you make them use their meter before you burst to start their SMP so you can make them have to gain meter all over again. Watch out for when they like to cancel gun shot motion and jab them when they do as that's not safe at all and neither is it when they shoot the last shot. You gotta know the match up to play this properly but I think once you do, you should be at a slight advantage overall.
  4. Note that Teddie's DP doesn't have many active frames but is hard to bait in the way that it'll land even if you crossed him over. But due to the poor active frames, you can bait it simply by using moves that take longer to come out instead of of our usual normals like j.C instead of j.B and 2C instead of 5A.
  5. GGs to ColonDivider and ChicagoJohnny for some fun matches. That was nice change of pace to play against some people that knew what they were doing. Good times~
  6. P4A Lazy Casuals Vol1. Nothing too special. Just a couple of netplay matches I saved because something interesting happens in them. Read notes to figure out what they are.
  7. I try to IK everrrryone. Good move on switching to Aki in that match up though. The Kanji vs Yosuke is awful for Kanji IMO.
  8. GGs to Taoru. Took a few matches to get used to fighting Aki again. Haven't fought one of those in awhile and you did some pretty cool stuff! Keep it up~
  9. It's so early! I've got a bit of time to kill before I have to run some errands. Who wants to press buttons?! Blehhhh. GGs to training dummy and terrible players in ranked. I call it quits when I ask for "good connection" and it kept grabbing people with 0 bars.
  10. People mistake Yosuke to be a easy character to use but there's a lot of character specific and timing based stuff on the vast majority of his more rewarding combos....
  11. Try blah blah 5C 2C IAD air grab if you see them jumping a lot. It's shocking how often I get people with that. Also, I've noticed people playing more reckless when I get them poisoned since they want to stop that HP from ticking away which is something to keep in mind. 5C > 2C delay is legit and will catch people trying to jump out and will FC any button pressing if you time it correctly. Using 5C as a poke is actually very good, especially in match ups where they have very poor options at that mid-range footsies(Kanji, Akihiko, etc).
  12. Why not? If it's going to win you the round, spend all that shit. It's always good to know ways to increase damage off common scenarios with either meter or burst usage. Those were a secret?
  13. Haha, good. That means I did my job as Yosuke. I liked how you didn't panic and get hit by my confuse IK stuff. Most people freak out and start trying to press buttons/move and get exposed.
  14. He'd be a gimmick character if he didn't have a overall solid game and he certainly does. His movement is the best in the game and his normals are well above average. When you're working with a solid foundation like that, the gimmicks are nothing more than sprinkles and cherry on top. And what delicious sprinkles and cherry they are...

  16. GGs to vee and that yosuke player in that room for a bit. I was expecting a better connection since you're east coast but it was playable, not quite pleasant though.

Especially combos. I've made an attempt to dumb down some of the tougher combos while keeping most of the damage + benefits of doing the combo in certain cases though.
  23. Work on the next exhibition video is coming along nicely and I have a good idea in the other tools I want to focus on in this one along with some new combos I haven't seen around. Anything you guys would like to see or would like to see a more in-depth coverage of?
  24. SAYS THE CHIE PLAYER! I'd just let the intro play to the point it stops skipping about regardless of connection out of habit.
  25. It's a complete non-factor offline but on netplay when you're dealing with different lags and random jitters, it gets pretty annoying. Especially due to the fact that they can actually get stuff off of it using meter or in the corner.
