  18. quick correction on mu and ragna j2c is not jump cancel-able for mu j.d is jump cancel-able for ragna
  19. minimum frame before you can barrier after a jump is 1 frame only, apparently. you can go test for yourself if you wish. litchi 2a->623d is 6 frames on regular instant block into 11 frame start up air unblockable, that is a 5 frame gap. ragna jump start up is 4 frames, and he can barrier guard the tsubame gaeshi. on instant barrier, 2a is 7 frames, so there is a 4 frame gap. ragna cannot block tsubame gaeshi if he tries to jump out in that situation. @seta, b c and d attacks being air unblockable without barrier does NOT compare to a true unblockable like carl 8d at all. all you need, is a 5 frame gap, and 5 frame gaps, especially on instant block, are fucking common as hell in blazblue. carl 8d effectively FORCES you to stay down as long as it is active

  21. b, c, and d moves being air unblockable without barrier doesn't really change much, i think.. most attacks just don't have enough vertical reach to catch someone jumping away, especially on IB, and if you fight someone who actually knows when to jump/ib jump out, then i can't really see how it would be very useful, when you also consider lowest air barrier. like zeth said, there is nothing stopping someone from doing lowest air barrier right after a jump to be safe from air unblockables. increasing jump start up on neutral (not direction) jump, introducing throw reject miss state for air barrier, or just nerfing barrier/barrier gauge in general would be a better way to deal with the abundance of chicken blocking in BBCS (america, at least) but this is all theory fighting anyway, who knows how the game will change once we actually play it (if we do)
