6A[m] is really really good in this match. Replaces 5C[m] to beat her 3C. 6B[m] is bad in this match, try not to commit to it. There's just to many ways she can just maneuver her way around it, and most of them lead into damage.
-
4C is nothing to worry about, he doesn't get much off of it on hit or CH. If you're really worried about it, 2B[m] and 3C[m] are both good answers. Itsuu is all right in this match. 5A also hits Hakumen crouching, this move is +3 on block (great for us). Rising jB[m] is instant overhead on Hakumen, this makes 2A > rising jB, 5b > rising jB or even dash up rising jB all solid attack options on him (of course, you'll need 50 meter to RC j2D). Kokushi is terrible against him, he can counter it for free. There is a really specifc range (maybe 1 and a half character lengths away) where Litchi iad back jC[m] is really good against him and will beat all his aerials clean. The main thing is that he really does outrange you - Litchi needs to get in a range where he pokes actually reach to take control of the match.

S Tier: Litchi Bang Arakune Carl discuss

Don't forget to kote dj away if he blocks your 4D (this applies to anyone, but Tager punishes it hard).

Arakune is the 3rd best character Ragna is not S tier Discuss.

It's not an overpowered top tier. A slow grappler in a high movement game is always going to be on the weaker side. It's really difficult to balance a character like that in an anime game without fucking up. :/

Treat Mu like Lambda. If you can do it on Lambda then you can do it on Mu.

bolded for lol your shit tiers are ordered wrong

He linked the same video 2 times :/

Tsubaki install is one of her saving graces, a throw > tsubaki install is an easy 4K (a lot for Tsubaki).

At least Rachel has stand on the other side of the screen on her side

General Matchup: Underboob vs cleavage Litchi wins the neutral game, but you can't make a mistake. One mistake can lead into Makoto's huge damage combos, and you can't really disrespect her oki. Play it safe, run away, and try your best to hit her before she hits you. Fullscreen: -Set the staff. -Use Shishin against her full screen projectile. -Use 5D against Makoto's airdash in. -Use 2[D] > Hatsu against Makoto airdash in if you have time to set it up. Hatsu is too fast, it'll beat everything. -Try to position yourself so that you can always 2C (staffless) anti-air. -If Makoto has 50 meter, don't run around hitting buttons. Midscreen: -Against Asteroid shot: use 3C[m]. -Against Makoto's 3C: 2C[m], 3C[m], 2B[m], 6D, staffless 2B, 3C. -Against 5B: 6D, 3C, 5B[m], launch stick(2D set). 6D is the most reliable since you will always win the trade. -Against dash 2A: 6D, walk back 5B[m], launch stick (2D set). -Against jumpins: 5A, launch stick -Air to air: jA, preemptive jB. Very dangerous to challenge Makoto air to air. -Jumping in: Glide throw, fall with barrier. Try not to jump in too much to avoid parry. Makoto's 6A is way too good, it's impossible to beat with a normal. -Really use 6D well and midscreen isn't bad. -If Makoto has 50 meter, don't run around hitting buttons. Makoto's Pressure: -Parry Cancel pressure - don't worry about it -J2C - If you have time, just backstep. -Against 5CC > mixup - IB > IB jump > 2A. Input as [1, 7, 2A]. Done properly the following sequence should happen: 5C(IB'd) > 6B - Litchi jumps with rising jA 5C(IB'd) > 2C - Litchi jumps with rising jA 5C(IB'd) > 5C > 6B - Litchi IB's 2nd 5C, does 2A 5C(IB'd) > 5C > 2C - Litchi IB's 2nd 5C, does 2A -Against teleport - lets figure something out! -Against okizeme Asteroid shot - Can't roll. Just have to block. Best option if you have meter is to late tech, counter assualt. Litchi's Pressure - You can mostly just do whatever. - Don't forget Makoto has a DP.
-
Generally if you block a chain, you can do 5A(CH) > 2C > ItsuuA > full combo.
-
You can try on SRK tbh, you're going to be hard pressed to find someone who plays Marvel as well as this unpopular character on this board. I'm willing to help anyone who asks questions.

Cornix fanatiq is a really good marvel player, you don't have to go in that hard

Congrats to Jan/Hsien. Several upsets, I actually thought Zong/Spark could take it. Pozer looked on fire, he's really strong. Marcel(?) Jin was spot on with exec, that guys probably gonna be good too later. Lemme know when there's another Austin tourney down the line, I'll try not to miss it. Brandino take off that hat nigga

Grind a bit, play a bit, watch a couple videos, then come back with some questions. It's way easier to help that than just asking for a trainer or something. If you really do learn quickly it's just best to learn her notation, it's helpful in the long run.

[CS1] Litchi Fresh Meat buns Thread (Guide and Combo Discussion)

Read the second post (says COMBOS in bold and underlined letters). After j.C, 5C only hits OTG on certain characters. Should be everyone except for Carl, Hazama, Nu, Mu, and Lambda. This is partly my fault, since I've been only doing the more advanced varients, which work on everyone universally. Additionally note that 5C will hit the entire OTG on ground bounce (j.C gives a tiny ground bounce), but not them lying on the ground. http://www.youtube.com/jourdal Search Litchi. Good luck have fun Yes, I do mean 2D after staff is set. 2D actually is different than 5D. After you do IppatsuB, you follow with 2D (launches staff) > whatever it says. You want the staff to launch and follow up with whatever hits. Since you don't know (this is also my fault, since this discussion was had before, but in CT), I'll post here (and also add to the first post). 2D is 1F slower startup than 5D, launches in a slightly lower arc than 5D, and also cancels from normals (like 3C) where 5D can not. After IppatsuB, you don't actually have to use 2D, but there is a corner combo part variant where you use 3C 2D super jump - this requires 2D. I pretty much got into the habit of using 2D for any staff launching in combos - there's only one time you'd use 5D over 2D, for the [corner combo]j.C 4kote falling j.C 5D 6C Daisharin combo part. This can be a couple of things - your starter, which is unlikely if you're grinding, or you're using 6C itsuuA 6kote 5C for the first rep, which would probably make that near impossible. -

Watch any Litchi match vid, that's the starter they go for the most. -
iSadClown, the hits don't matter. It's what you start with. Try not to start with 2AAA for example, because the proration will be too low by the time you get to ippatsu.
