5d > Habakiri combos work on everyone except Hakumen, Taokaka, Bang, Carl and Mu. Use otg 2b 2c 6c 5d 214d on Makoto, instead of otg 2b 6a 6c 5d 214. Untested on Platinum.

Soon, when I become the quintessential ruler of the universe, every household will be provided with one.

I've been exposed.

Rasberyl from Disgaea.

Indeed, it manages to appear both intelligent and reserved, yet chuberic and loltastic. Quite fitting. Though I don't think I've ever been described as chuberic.

Small mistakes in execution are easy to overlook, don't stress overmuch about them, I can assure you that EVERYONE does it, I'll overlook your matches and then comment on them in the critique thread. And the reason I think people avoid that thread is because it's psychologically intimidating to put yourself on the chopping block, knowing that you're going to get shredded. That's why I always put just as much focus on what players do right as well as what they did wrong. They tend to be more receptive that way.

I support the posting of all serious and competitively minded matches, fooling around and just for fun can be linked in the general threads.

Where you playing Mystic over netplay Solar? I'll be going down to NCI next month, so I could beat him up for you again like I did in CS1. jk, Mystic, stay cool. In other news, aerial Tsunugui is going to be very good against Tao, hmmm.

Chun's going to need a hand for the tournament to start on time, and from what I saw last time things where rather unorganized because people didn't know what/where/when to do/pay/sign/sit. I shall bring many megaphones.

Matchup is out of our favor, but Mu has a lot of strong tools that can really shut down Tao's approaches, even if her overall character design does beat ours. I'd say 6/4 at worse. Mu's reward is a too high off situations that come up too much, same reason I'm starting to thing the Bang matchup is 5/5, he just can't do nearly enough damage. As for Tao's approach... It's a bit like the valkenhayn matchup, he can do whatever he wants (read: has pragmatically endless air options, to answer your earlier question), so long as you let him do what he wants. I consider it worth it to CA out almost every time, it's a great use of meter in this matchup, but if you're stuck without meter, just know that her overhead is really slow, and that she can't even usually combo off it unless she gets a hit at far range (like Platinum's I'm pretty sure), in which case it's even slower. Plus side on the downback, is you're already holding down, so when she jumps... lolololol2cmashto5.5k No really I'm under the impression that 6a is the more viable antiair for this matchup.

Yoooooo. Damn.

Kishuu is now projectile invunerable, he can just punch you in the gut for free.

She's just wondering if you've seen the latest episode of Steins Gate. You know the one where she uses time. And kills everyone. With Steins.

This is getting out of hand, and I'm honestly surprised the senior members of this board haven't corrected this spread of misinformation. Mori was responding to an idiotic request from a psr 54 netplayer's whining about Arakune being super overpowered. ARAKUNE IS NOT EVEN GOOD. No shit he's going to poke fun at the kid. Why would he design such an intricate and unique character and then balance him to the supposed low tier? Because he hates grapplers? I guess you could say that, but that's the easy out, intellectually, I'm sure you guys can come up with a better reason. Like, maybe they know something we don't, or, maybe his capacity is actually not as bad as I first thought. This assumption about ASW hating grapplers is usually construed from an earlier question, once again from a random con scrub asking "When are you going to make tager top tier?! lololol". Of course the answer is never, why? Because when you're balancing a game, the idea is to remove tiers altogether, and have everyone on the same level. They don't want there to be a top tier, therefore, why the hell would they make tager top tier? Baaaaaaah. I'm sure you know where I'm coming from AXIS, this whole "ughhhh I have bad matchups, I can't win... ASW is at fault!" has always just really bugged me. Yo there are no 10-0 matchups, get better or give in to the theory that you lost at the character select screen. Grrrr. Even my normally astute and well tempered judgement is heated by this topic.

It was recorded but HUEY253 IS TOO BUSY DRINKING AT SG'S PARTY TO UPLOAD THEM.

The question I think we're all waiting on. Also probably determines if she's going to be beyond godlike or not.

It's not like 5c doesn't still obliterate him or anything.
-
Hahahahahahah.

Instead of Spark IB'ing 2c for less pushback so 6c whiffs :<
-
It'll destroy autopilot strings, but if you're paying attention it should become no real issue, because of late chain 6c, which I HIGHLY doubt will ever be out of range.
-
I completely agree with this, the function by itself is already very strong, being able to time it interdependently of the startup would indeed be overpowered, at least from a design perspective.
-
Someone noted that the Sledge Cancel from VC resulted in large damage around 4k, this could either mean that the Sledge Cancel from VC has very good unique prorate, or that Sledge in general has been buffed.
-
Dunno yet, change was listed in the effect log posted by Arcsys.
-
Unless they changed it, Tager still suffers from unique hitstop when hit during Voltec Charge, in addition to this Sledge will still have startup, whereas jumpins very rarely have punishable recovery, I highly doubt it would make any sort of use as an antiair.

[CS1-CSE] Road to Ikaruga - The Bang Social thread - Do you even 3c?
