  1. PNW scene sporting Japanese PS3's and PSN accounts with plenty of yen on them. Ahhh yeahhh.
  2. Lol stein combos in cs1 and midscreen shotgun, combo video stuff for fun. CH j.c > minimum height j.5d cancel > 2b before they hit the ground > 6a > (laser whiff) > 6c > 214d (connect) > 6b > 6a > j.2c > 662b > omohikane CH j.2c > j.2d > walk (delay) > 2b > 6a > 6c > 236d > crossunder 2d > omohikane
  3. I can confirm that, in the psp version at least, C silencer is dash cancel-able, but only if you wait until the extended recovery period.
  4. If you're running an adblock or flash/cookie program it might be linked to an out-of-site supplier for their video servers, meaning you may have to always enable everything even remotely linked to youtube. If that doesn't work I would try another browser if it bothers you enough.
  5. If you sign in to your youtube account it's a preference setting, I don't believe it's available when signed out.
  6. We got our HDfury adapter and can now record in beautiful 720! Also, Matenbo tastes so good!
  7. I'm pretty sure the arcade balancing discussion is based around Platinum, as she seems much stronger on the psp then the Japanese BBS seems to give her credit in their rankings for arcades.
  8. Mu can get 9k+ without gold burst. That combo isn't character specific, just easiest on Tager. With the extra 110x2 prorate it's something like 12k.
  9. I think he can begin the wolf cancel after the first active frame of say, 6c, meaning you'd still be in ground blockstun by the time the j.b was starting up.
  10. It's faster from what I can tell, but it's speed in comparison to the rest of the cast is what really matters.
  11. She always had high-tier runspeed, if it was increased it's to be on par with the other fleetfeet.
  12. Wuku shall train us. We must become inhuman.
  13. Atomic Collider also ignores Tager's Character proration, meaning the 2c > AC > ACwhiff > MTG(tb) combo is realistically unprorated.
  14. Spark actually manages to beat me up all the time as Tager, he may be the King of the Bad Matchup, but I notice some things that you should really watch out for. j.d's hit-box has a better vertical extension then Sod, so don't rely on it as an anti-air, even with its unblockable properties. Origins will not prevent Spark bolt from magnetizing you, as it will contact the guard point. Iron Fist reactively midscreen, when used properly, is quite hard to deal with once you're already magnetized, really inhibits your ability to zone, as jump canceling makes the magnets more potent. Remember that you can special cancel any ground stein recovery into Origins if you see him going to punish you, there's really nothing he can do about that.
  15. I think you guys are just reading too far into what Luna was trying to say. Her combos are just pretty free-form and easy to hit-confirm into, with decent damage output without fine tuning. Her normals are considerably more applicable now with the reduced recovery time, meaning she's less of a headache in neutral, especially for an experienced player. Not that she'll play that way at maximum capacity. Ragna is also actually quite complex if you take into account many of his different oki endings and more advanced options, but that doesn't meant you can't blow people up with B>C>DxN.
  16. I noticed it works really well against Bang too. One of the many ways Huey became free.
  17. IB>GTFO goes together, DP is just one of those tools, as are jump, 2a and 5a.
  18. You guys want to help me do a CS2 combo video? I have all the software and hardware. I would just need advice on what combos to throw in there.
  19. I guess I could throw one together... hmm.
  20. The argument I'm making is that you can be leagues ahead with dedication, there's always the run-back, and that you don't guarantee yourself loser's bracket at the character select screen.
  21. I seem to recall Jan placing into SBO as Tager, a character people would decree as a flawed character. Is this not an example of skill far overwhelming what some people would call a character handicap? If you're bad at the game, playing a strong character won't change how bad you are, on the flip side, an experienced and skilled player can do amazing things with so called "bad characters". Yes, some characters have obvious strengths in comparison to others, but in truth it always comes down to how good you are at playing the game. "Your character is better than mine" will always be a contrite excuse for poor play. Learn the matchup and use your tools correctly.
  22. I guess my question would be what is the optimal untechable time after say, a full air combo.
