  1. It happens from time to time. :3c
  2. GGs to ichigoDW. I should probably play online more. :V
  3. It took me about a week to get the motions and whatnot correct, and about another two weeks to get about as good as I was before. I made the switch ages ago though, so it might take you a little longer since you've been playing on pad longer. Hard to say though, it really depends on the person. Just play whatever character that you already know and are comfortable with. Also, try not to switch back and forth between stick and pad, it will only hinder your progress. Good luck~!
  4. Yuki, what up? Bring some life back in here.
  5. As far as Spark Bolt goes, you just really have to watch the meter and respect that he has it. Jumping over it is always your best option, but if you do get magnetized, just run away. Also, that's something that I'll point out: you were magnetized a lot, but you didn't really try to put any distance between yourself and Tager. You also had some pretty weird stein moments. There were a couple times where you popped them early (which I understand completely, haha). At one point, you jumped up and did j.5D > j.6D > j.236D, and just fell back on top of Tager. My advice to you there is to think about where you're putting your steins, don't just throw them out willy-nilly. Try not to use 6C in a blockstring too much.
  6. Jin is pretty cool (see what I did there?), but I'm not really interested. He does have some pretty annoying resets though, haha.
  7. For now, at least~ I need to find a sub in this game. To training mode!
  8. 'Sup, cookie? :3c Yeah, the best advice that I can give you is to be as lame as possible, and try not to let him touch you ever.
  9. You really have to play the lame game against Arakune. Stay as far away from him as you can, but if he's teleport-happy, you can just dash away, and he can't really do much about it. Use lasers and Habaya to keep him out. Like Agi said, ease off fuzzy balls once he's got enough meter for f of g, because it will make you sad. If he does get in, DP will send him flying across the screen. Occasionally, I'll use command laser to lock down his movement a bit, and give me some time to set up more steins. If he doesn't respect your stein placement and likes jumping around willy-nilly, pop them in his face. Hardcore zone him until it's over. Rinse, repeat. Also, watch out for his j.B, it pretty much beats everything.
  10. Poeshpee. With a long O sound. I think.
  11. Congrats, pochp. You earned it. :3 Now upgrade to mod status avatar!
  12. My boyfriend plays some Ragna, and while this is pretty generalized, he says: "Outpoke her, and don't respect her pressure." Dunno if that helps you or not, he wasn't very specific, haha. :I
  13. Ragna's not a babe though. :< Haha, I also tried to sub Makoto with similar results.
  14. ME TOO, BRO. MU DA BESS. Speaking of which, I should try finding a sub for this game. I haven't had one in a while.
  15. Your Mu experiences, of course. :I
  16. I know, so true! Says the guy with the giant Mu ass on his stick. :3
  17. Those palettes are sexy, I'd play 'em. I kind of dislike a lot of her palettes that have that weird bodysuit look to them though.
  18. The one with the blue skin? Obviously, it's MYSTIQUE MU. :3
  19. I hear you, bro. My boyfriend was having the same problem as you (mained Jin since CT, hit the wall, wanted to drop him, etc.) until he learned buttloads of gimmicky resets, and he still stomps all over me, haha. So, if you want to keep playing Jin, you should. But we like recruiting new members for the Mu army as well! Except Yuki, because he's a hipster. <3 I'm okay with this. :3
  20. Haha, how very economical! Save your button presses for when you need them. :3
  21. I think you're overthinking this. If you want to improve at anything (fighting games or whatever), you obviously need to practice. That's pretty much a given. However, there's no right or wrong answer on how much you should be practicing. Everyone learns at their own pace. You say that ten minutes is not long enough to get anything down, but practicing for hours isn't helping either. Then you need to find something in-between that works for you. Try practicing without looking constantly checking the clock. When you start to feel bored, just put the game away. Any practice is better than no practice, as long as you're doing something productive. Also, explore the options in training mode, there's almost always an answer for everything. You said that you were having trouble with inputs. Turn on input display, so you can see what you're doing wrong. Practice the motion until you get it right. Once you can do the input, then consistency will follow the more you do it. Baby steps, one thing at a time. Don't worry about winning or losing at this point, worry about improving.
  22. Pretty solid Mu. I will say that you do dash up into raw 6B quite a bit, and you got hit out of it just about every time. If you want to go in for mixup, try using your command laser more to cover you because Mu's 6B is kinda slow. You could also use Habaya more to cover your approach. Also, speaking of approach and such, steins! You like to throw them out, but I don't see you doing much with them. It's up to you how you want to use them, but you could at least make your opponent respect the space that they occupy. I agree with Solar about hitconfirming, you either lost a couple of great opportunities for big damage or you didn't know the combos. Either way, you should work on fixing that, because you could have had it all~ (rolling in the deep~). But seriously, you got some amazing hits (5C in the corner, CH 5C midscreen), and you didn't do much with them. So, I'm not sure which it was, or both, but I would definitely work on correcting that. Random Yata? :3c
