  1. This. It is literally all I want. ;-;
  2. They didn't punish, but it's the thought that counts, right? http://youtu.be/PmXWoT9jl08?t=9m5s
  3. Hey Tectal, the second link isn't working. And I believe that other Mu is Kaqn.
  4. Looks like I won't be able to make it after all. Can't get the time off of work. I hope you guys have oodles of fun, and I'll try to tune into the stream when I can. :3
  5. Setsuna, it seems like you were really impatient in those matches. I'd say you need to work on your defense. I'm guessing Aigis had you scared, but I'd practice blocking some Orgia mixups in training mode, just to get a feel for them and what she can do. You also got caught pressing buttons a lot. Your hitconfirming could use some work as well, I didn't see much outside of autocombo and the occasional air combo.
  6. You seem to have a pretty good grasp of your oki set-ups, but I would try mixing up what you do with 22B oki a bit more. I'm pretty sure I only saw you go for a crossup once, and you only throw in the corner. You play neutral pretty well, and you're pretty patient on defense, which is so important with Labrys. I'd say your real weakness is lack of optimized combos and your hitconfirming. There are combos at green or yellow axe that will get you to red axe for 25 meter and allow for oki set-ups, I suggest you learn those, rather than that autocombo > OMC > air combo that you were doing. I think your combos in general could use some fine tuning, there was a lot of stuff that could have been stronger there. Also, you get a lot of hits, but don't capitalize on them. I saw quite a few 2Bs that you jump cancelled, but then nothing? Also, your air-to-air hits didn't get much of anything either. If you can confirm off of every combo, your opponent will have a lot more to fear from you, even if it's just something simple for now.
  7. Looks like that links to a Noel vs. Carl match.
  8. Hmm, I can't test it right now, but I was under the impression that you could only do those combos with red axe and fatal? If that's not the case, then that's pretty cool.
  9. I can do it somewhat consistently. Though usually off of other stuff, I don't use her AoA very often. I find it's almost as if you have to hit a certain sweetspot on j.214B's hitbox with the hurtbox of the character that you're comboing, it's like you want the edges of the hitboxes to connect. I guess it's easier to explain if you watch the video that you linked to, Labrys hits Narukami with the utmost edge of the axe. I also find it's easier on some characters than others. I can do it on Liz just about every time, but on Narukami, probably just half the time.
  10. For the tournament, we'll be using the same monitors used at Evo (Asus VH236H, I believe), and P4A/BB will be running on PS3. All the other games will be on 360. @Livewire: most HDTVs suffer from lag. I've gotten used to adapting from one to the other pretty frequently, but it can definitely screw you over pretty badly.
  11. I know that feel, man. I really want to go to UMAD this year, but I'm having the same problem. It's not even like it's that far. ;-;
  12. Haha, I completely understand. I know that feel.
  13. There's a couple Newfies that play P4A. One of them placed second at our last major.

We can’t make this event happen without the contributions from our community. If you are able to bring equipment to be used for tournament stations, please contact Mike Daniels on Facebook. If you are able to bring a station for tournament play, please make sure it is up to date before the tournament. We will not be able to connect to Live or PSN at the venue. Game Rules: Standard tournament rules apply to all games: pausing the game is a disqualification, character switching is only allowed for the loser of a set, and blind picks can be facilitated by a third party to prevent counter picking in the first set. All tournaments will be a double elimination bracket. 3SO, AE 2012, P4A, BB CSE or CP, TTT2, Injustice: matches are two out of three rounds per set, first to two of three sets except for winners finals, losers finals, and grand finals, which will be best three out of five sets. Game Rules for UMVC3: best three out of five for all matches. Game Rules for SFxT 2013: This is a mixed tournament, which means you can enter as a single or doubles team. This means there will be matches where it is 1v2, 2v2, or 1v1 but that is allowed due to the mixed format. If you are entering as a doubles team, it is your responsibility to bring your own USB hub. This is very important as TOs will try to bring USB hubs, but it is not guaranteed. We currently possess only a couple, and could need a lot if there are many teams. Matches are two out of three rounds per set, first to two of three sets except for winners final, losers final and grand final which will be best three out of five sets. The tournament will use standard 2013 gem loadouts. These are the five gem loadouts that come with a new save file on v2013. No other gem sets or custom sets are allowed. To view the five standard gem sets, please click here:http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2013/feb/04/street-fighter-x-tekken-v2013s-pre-set-gem-units-dawgtanian-wants-them-be-tournament-standard/ Brackets for all games will be hosted at ralston.challonge.com and be updated live. There is plenty of parking in the NSCC campus, and there are lots of food options near the venue. The venue is in Dartmouth, if you are staying at a hotel in Halifax, you will have to pay bridge fare. Bridge fare is $1 per crossing. There will be a section dedicated to casual stations and free play areas. Please note that casual stations are based on a BYOG (bring your own gear) basis. This means all equipment for casual stations must be provided by the community. 18. A+C on the ground or in the air is what you mean, I think. On the ground, you'll do a roll that will dodge your opponent's attacks or projectiles, but you can still be thrown. The first couple frames are vulnerable though, and you'll be in counterhit state the entire time. In the air, you'll turn around so you can do some cross-ups, but you can also do some funny tricks with airdashing as well. You may want to set it as one button on a pad to do it. :3
  19. He is my new favourite.
  20. I'll take ten.
  21. Yeah, I just checked. It has five frames of invuln, my bad. I think I was thinking of an earlier version where it was useless, haha.
  22. I can get behind this, but spoilers: /weeaboorant
  23. Madoka too high, Sayaka too low.
