  1. Pretty sure, it doesn't work because 5K is not jump cancellable. Maybe u could get it to work following a STBT in the corner vs Faust. Since it's possible to link 5K to j.K on him.
  2. for those of u struggling with timing, do it as 66FRC6. Do the first forward motion immediately after releasing k. pretend u have to airdash before u hit FRC. once u get it, u'll easily be able to reduce it to 6FRC6. if this doesn't help, then go into extra mode & enable the FRC window to be 20 frames. Same process, get it then refine it to pin point execution. As an additional tip, stop looking at the screen. Look at your hands, and do it by feel. Often times the roadblock is that u have a habit of doing something similar (5H HCL I'm looking at u) and think it's the same or are used to visual queues (especially as freestyle as I-No is ). Looking at your hands will see how accurately u r imputing things and help u learn the actual timing in muscle memory. It took me roughly 100 hours in training mode before I could pull it off. So it's not easy or overnight.
  3. I agree, I wanna buy a I-No shirt too. Want a different color pallet. though. wish the blue/green pallet just had i-no's silhouette in white instead of green. then it would be perfect
  4. ^^^this! also, I spam her super worst than boss cpu i-no. anybody that decide to follow me after back dash will catch a UF before they hit the ground. Let's not mention that if u get a knockdown, u get a free cross up that is flat out impossible to see coming. ...or u can tech in the air, dash into it. or u can use j.k/j.s to hit confirm into super. or 6644. seriously, I-No doesn't have 1 move that u shouldn't learn how to properly use. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=3RoapqqIe2U#t=105s
  5. It's like this. The creator of GG Diashakawordicant Spell Ianotherwordicantspellta said himself, that what separates guilty gear from the rest is that in guilty gear u will eventually come to a wall and either give up or find a way to climb over it. GG has insanely high levels of execution as well as the need to understand the mechanics (both intentional and not). This is what makes the game enjoyable and dare I say satisfying to play. For I-No's HCL FRC Airdash I utilize: The customizable input system (360 vs 632146 required for the input) Negatice Edge (I press and slightly hold K only once for both the Kick and Chemical Love inputs) Force Roman Cancel (let's not mention that this is a 2 frame FRC window) Dash Buffer (6FRC6) Jump Install and all this is for a 2 hit setup. To me, BlazBlue has always been a Guilty Gear for people who suck at Guilty Gear. If Arc were to dumb down the game to appeal to newbies I'd imagine it would be just like BlazBlue, and just like BlazBlue, SF4, or any of the fighting games this generation to be honest. I would quit playing it.
  6. First time I've seen it. Haven't been able to watch many new vids since October of last year :/
  7. Hadn't seen that video yet. Easy to see some of the new benefits.
  8. It costs money, -25% tension Does like no damage When used most effectively is situational at best, very little practical use. It's good for what it is, but not the best of tools. I don't know how u could possibly declare this as the best FB in the game when even her other FB is much better.
  9. Uhh what? Am I missing something? Her Dive FB sucks.
  10. jump install puts you into a jump state while still being grounded. if you jump install properly there is no visual indication other then being able to do the desired effects.
  11. HCL after the VCL, another HCL will tack on more damage and give knockdown. It may take u a few tries to get the timing down but u can catch the whole cast Now... You're clearly TKing way too high. Sol has a really weird hitbox which makes this a great character to learn the timing for the 66 jS follow up. If you TK the HCL at the correct height I-No will actually dash under Sol's hitbox during the j.S VCL. She'll land and face the opposite direction, literally giving u a visual clue to learn the timing. Also, u will almost never land a straight 6P 5H on a competent sol player. Another midscreen combo is 5H jH SDIVE 5K HCL (u can continue if u have the skill and tension) pushes the opponent into the corner, tension free, perfect oki setup, even if u cant 5K HCL Airdash yet, doing this combo will give u a chance to implement it into your gameplay so once u do learn, it'll be natural.
  12. ' Thanks for sharing Mynus. I think her CH game is insane and often over looked. Her CH combos give you ridiculous damage for very little effort. Don't forget about KDIVE CH either! Can't stress how important her CH follow up combos are.
  13. No, it doesn't combo vs Sol. ...but 2K, 6P, 5H, HCL does. ...although personally vs Sol I go into STBT S after the 6P vs Sol.
  14. To do the TK version instead of the JI, simply input the kick later than your doing. Your cancelling into chemical love too early.
  15. I'm not a believer in placebo effects. Look, my advice is only that. People can take it for they want. As someone who learned I-No through this forum and watching KK1 vids. I can tell you that I my journey learning I-No would have been a lot easier had I learned to do things properly first before taking shortcuts. Don't worry, there are plenty of shitty american I-No's out there that share your stance. I used to be one. BMS Search results As for the rest of your post. I really couldn't tell you about Eddie, I don't play Eddie. P.S. Join the club :P http://www.dustloop.com/forums/group.php?discussionid=22&do=discuss
  16. This is horrid advice, yes it's easier but will limit your options and make things much more difficult to learn in the long run. what Pot combo are you referring to?
  17. It doesn't work like that. I-No has countless amount of HCL combos. She's a freestyle character who has to alter her combos to fit the weight class and hitbox of her opponent. To the point she doesn't have a single CL combo that will work against the whole cast. Her combos are strings of sections that work together. If u want to learn I-No I would advise starting on these "sections". *NOTE* These are standard AC+ combos. 1. 6P, 5H, j.H, PDIVE, Airdash, j.H, ETC (Corner, though on certain characters it work midscreen) I suggest trying to learn this against robo-ky or johnny. the reason is that they have the smallest window to combo the 5H into j.H and if you can get it to work against them you'll have no trouble getting it to work against every one else. 2. Hoverdash, j.K, 2K, 6P, 5H, HCL. 3. Launcher such as 6P c.S, or set the computer to jump and anti-air with 5p c.S, -> c.S, jump cancel, j.s, j.h -> special such as dives or chemical love frc airdash. It's a small section but very key to I-No's air game. You can cancel the j.H into any dive, j.D, air super, and chemical love. (or notes) which one you should do typically is determined by spacing and meter. You should get familiar with all options. Once, you get the timing down, start doing it with a super jump instead. this will open the option of doing p-dive at a higher height enabling you to combo it on characters you couldn't via normal jump. 4. Throw 6FRC6 -> Hoverdash, j.S, jump cancel j.S, j.H -> SDIVE. If the above proves too difficult, an easier alternative that teaches the same essential section is to turn the computer opponent's counter hit option onto "first" and then attempt the following 4E. STBT S, Hoverdash, j.S, jump cancel j.S, j.H -> SDIVE. You'll need to catch the opponent with the first j.S as they begin to fall. To extend some of the above combos SDIVE is typically linked to 5P, c.S, or 5K based on range. Learning I-No is not easy, and can't be done quick. You need quite a bit of commitment. EDIT: read the first post and saw that there wasn't shit there. I should type something better out for you but for now I'll just direct you to my combo vid, if HCL combos is all you want. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EltJJLHUf2Y EDIT2: I already did. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11456-I-No-Bread-Butter-Vol-01-VIDEO-GUIDE
  18. Considering ur an american player, 90% of your opponents will do 1 of 3 things. Burst prematurely, burst near death, or wait for you to perform a chemical love combo and burst right after you perform the first chemical love frc airdash.
  19. Try it on Jam. That's who we saw U-Zen introduce the sickness to us. 5p cs is my standard go to anti-air. though to be honest i typically follow it with super jump js jh etc.
  20. 3:19 is sick. deff has that u-zen trademark
  21. just hold up forward after far s and press slash when you're in the air. You're over thinking it. It's super easy.
  22. KK1 still with it. frick yea!
  23. 5K doesn't link to HCL. It cancels. I do it as a 360. As Sine said, just practice. You'll get it.
  24. I picked it up but havent played online yet. enjoying it so far like I knew I would. (dont really feel like spending 70$ to renew my jp gold account)
  25. ^^^there was some hdive loops in the above video, as well as a bunch of stbt into hdive spam.
