  1. Too bad both those games are totally fucking awesome. Wish they didn't die out. Especially SBX, I absolutely loved that game. Time out infinities and all. Too bad it wasn't on 360. A simple patch would have changed that and kept the game alive longer. BTW when is the release date?
  2. Well this isn't a traditional 2D fighter. There is no 236+P motion inputs in the entire game. It's all S+4 or S+6 or A+B+C, etc. Also, as slow as it looks, I some times find it hard to keep up with. Especially when combos are like A>A>A>66A>B>B>B>C>C>4C+S. You don't have time to react to the animations, you just have to know what comes next already or the combo will drop. It's deff a change of pace. Although I wish it had (like I wish all modern fighters had) GG's shortuct menu.
  3. Playing the game, it really doesn't feel slow or stiff as it looks.
  4. If he's doing SRK every time on wake up, simple note, dash, block > punish. I absolutely hate this match, and you'll see even the likes of Koichi loosing this match. My gameplan is to play defensively, try to anti air with 5p (you can do a massive damage combo with 5p, cs) or wait for a 2k opening. If I try to chase Chipp aroun the screen I'll loose without fail.

  6. Evo has always been unofficially a Capcom event. They show very little love for Arc Sys Games year after year. I wish people would get together a make a huge official event for our type of games. GG/MB/Fate/AH/BB/ETC
  7. The thing that gets me, of all the 5pB games to bring over. ..they choose this. Don't get me wrong, I have the game and enjoy playing it but I would much rather see Chaos Head Noah or Steins Gate brought over.
  8. That's not true at all. The biggest reason I have for doing such is that my laptop is not powerful enough to run games. Plus I would assume the newest version would find itself patched into the 360 port eventually.

  10. Heres the deal. JP version of AC on PS2 was riddled with bugs (like the i-no deal mentioned above) the US version had all the bugs fixed. Arc Systems made some public apologies and released AC+ as a way of saying sorry in JPN as a stand alone as append disc. It added a story mode, mission mode, kliff and justice (and their stages) and the ex characters gained a force break. Aksys released AC+ in the US with the addition of all the stuff in the JP AC+ and a 3 on 3 team battle mode. Seriously, normal AC is fine, especially for competitive play.
  11. There is really no point to be jump installing anything when your combo goes from 5H to HCL. You just TK it. My theory is that you're considering it inconsistent because you're not jump installing at all but actually tiger kneeing the motion. do cs HCL airdash or 5k HCL airdash. and believe it or not, I-No actually holds a JI for an extremely long time. You can actually do stroke the big tree > 2S HCL and it will hold the JI. dont worry, its a hard thing to do and takes a long long time to get consistently
  12. 2k > cs > js > jh > sdive (hold slightly or it will wiff) > cs > super jump js > jh > pdive > 66 > jh > pdive > sdive. does 129 and if they fall straight you can catch them with a 5p for a throw reset. best part about it is it builds a ton of tension. you shouldn't waste tension off air throws especially deep in the combo unless you have full tension because it's not really worth it. Off wall bounce 5H HCL is a good tension usage and if you want to do it in a 2k cs combo I would suggest doing it as 2k cs vcl frc airdash (because it will give you a ton of follow up options). Even then, your damage won't go too far beyond 140. air throws are great for dizzy modifier and to build tension. ...not too good for getting damage. may I suggest this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qi5-x8sw3cY
  13. use 2k cs instead of 2p 5p after air throw, much much easier and you don't do much damage either way so it doesn't make much difference.

  16. Just got this yesterday, I'm a bit underwhelmed so far. Not giving up on it yet though, hope it gets better.

  18. You can do 5H HCL and it's pretty lenient on how it will work. Some characters, HCL can't be followed up by everything. Sometimes 2S or 2D HCL will work on 1 character but not the next. 5K HCL should work on every one standing except Faust.

  20. the input is 632146+66+S. You need to do the chemical love, and the then do a dash as you input the s. I'm guess that you're doing 632146+6+S. You need to input 6, 3 times. Once as you land on it and then twice to do the dash. here is a vid of the HCL version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIvOAsN3mOw however I will tell you, there is much better things you could be learning right now. Try this, 5K > HCL. However input it like this 6K (hold down the K) 321467896 (release kick). If it combos, you did it right, if it doesn't combo, you did it incorrectly and most likely not fast enough. You can do the same thing for VCL in the air to get a fast fall (66) 6S (hold down the S) 3214(789)6 (release the S). Once you get around to wanting to learn jump installed stuff, the input is modified. ...but one thing at a time!

  22. Im sure the game will be decent. My expectations are on par with Sengoku Basara X, my hopes are that it's longer lived than SBX.
