  1. is this still getting a 360 port?
  2. I've owned several different sticks and honestly the one I use the most is a Madcatz SE modded with sanwa parts. It's small and compact, and the panel has a slope to rest the palm of your hand on that I really like. You can find them on SRK usually around 80$ As others have said, just get used to the square gate. It works a lot better than you may be thinking. Mostly because you'll ruin your stick if you throttle the stick full force and ride the gate. It's a precision tool, not something your meant to brute force with. Also, ball tops spin naturally, so make round movement is easier than you think. lol I want a stick with an auto-dash feature. if there is one thing that is 100x easier to do on pad, it's dash.
  3. You mean far 5S? or did they change something to close 5S that I'm not aware of? Speaking of, in AC they made it so 2S hits low, making it a 10x more useful tool. I'm not going to debate you on #R tier vs AC tier because I'm not familiar with #R's tier enough to do so. I have SBO 2005 and that about my only exposure to competitive play on #R. I can't stand to play it either because I-No feels so crippled. (note: I do play it now because it works on 360 and my PS2 died)
  4. ^^^actually it was to show that your comment about the guard gauge depletion/burst gauge refill was not factual at all. that player is me btw. for pathetic damage, I seemed to do something like 65% off one combo.
  5. Do you even play I-No in AC? You seem to have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. I-No has a very small handful of links and really only one with a "1-2 frame" window. (2H links to 5P or 5K which has no practical use in competitive play) The links that she does have are typically only (save STBT) used to catch ang go into a relauncher. (5p, c.s) They all have HUGE windows. If you approach I-No like you would in newer games (boringblue, sf4) where you can learn one combo and then be the next ultimate online warrior, yea she might be frustrating. Her B&B isn't a single combo, but rather sections that are pieced together to fit the situation. However those sections are universal for the most part (and this is what makes I-No so fun to play). You're burst build, guard drop is an exaggeration, and even if it were true, I-No has loads and loads of resets. (and plenty of ways to get knockdown just about any point during a combo) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nL7VTiv4gJY&feature=player_detailpage#t=131s Besides tier list typically don't take things like execution into consideration and they expect a player to know how to use their character against others. They're usually based off capabilities and options of one character vs another.
  6. ^^^I question her tier ranking in AC, yea she has A LOT of bad matches but her best matches are against the higher tier characters that most other characters have trouble with. There is a bit of balance in the madness IMO
  7. In reload I-No sucks so bad. Not having VCL just destroys her combo game, and her dives are atrocious to try and follow up.
  8. in reload i-no only has one note, you can't control the speed just the vertical direction, up makes it go up, down makes it go down. ex i-no has a really weird note that lets you pretty much move it in any direction however you want.
  9. ^^^gee thanks, I'm sure that helped him a ton. ::jack off:: Yes you can, you need to jump install it manually though, you can't land and go into it, you need to do something like 2k cs 2d hcl
  10. It's fairly common knowledge. For those of you who want to learn how to use this, I suggest learning by jumping straight up and upon landing going immediately into 2S HCL 6FRC6. Another common method to learn the timing from hoverdash is to wiff a j.H before going into a low (you'll see Ten do this quite often). However I find it easier if you can land a j.S and go into a combo. (to get air moves to connect to lows you need to input the move during the fall of the hoverdash) In this vid you can see me jump installing from just about every piratical method. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EltJJLHUf2Y&feature=plcp&context=C4d877bbVDvjVQa1PpcFNZ5l59myeaiV9xSlJymMaipgA9Ysj9YVk= You can also see what the above link states where I hold a jump install through something that doesn't combo. Also two other things worth mention. STBT S can be linked on certain characters (faust) to air normals such as j.K. What this means is it's also possible to do a dry jump install making things like STBT S, 8, 2S, HCL 6FRC6 possible. ...and VCL has some really weird properties that allow you to airdash from it even when it's not TK or jump installed. (do 5K or c.S > VCL and you'll see what I'm talking about ...but it also works from lows such as 2S ad 2D)
  11. So you're saying you don't know me and have never played me? Your opinion of my vids can be whatever, I just want to make sure you've never played me? Stay trolling
  12. Do you know me? I don't think I've ever played a reaVer so I can't tell if you're trolling or if you're trolling?
  13. Yea, the biggest issue I have with Slayer, certainly isn't his hitbox, it's the damn retarded animations he has making his mixup harder than it should be (for me) to deal with. PS: I hate Slayer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkA05AivnoM&feature=plcp&context=C3a458a7UDOEgsToPDskLfqf7iRMEGXgWC6yHiYSmT
  14. This!!! give me online and robo-ky stage to have actual music and I'm happy!
  15. Am I the only one expecting a release within a few months? say by june at the latest?
  16. Hey Qwerty, I used to go by Bucklemyshoe. We've played in person xD Hey anger-filled breh goon, heres my youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/pestilencetheplague?feature=mhee#p/u/28/EltJJLHUf2Y you can find a few "recent" matches of me and even some combo vids I made. He'll even some tutorial stuff I put together to help other GG players out. You can throw all these theories and thoughts and accusations around all you want but keep in mind just because you say it doesn't make it true. On a more positive note, I hope there are a new breed of Bridget players. He always seems neglected and more people should play him.
  17. ^^^It'll come with time. I suggest you do it without any superjumps against May or Slayer. Their hitboxes should make it possible.
  18. That's okay, I feel BlazBlue moves at a snails pace, and I didn't end up playing it a fraction of as much as I thought I would have. That being said, it feels good to see people willing to drop BB for GG I personally feel BB added a huge amount of ruin to the GG community and am glad it's going to get a long overdue kick in the face! F-U BoringBlue!!!
  19. fuckity fuck yea!!! will be day one'ing the XBLA version so hit me up if you want to get some vs I-No practice in.
  20. ^^^heres the last axl player I played. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INUvR5Na-4o you'll noticed at the beginning of the match pretty much everything I do get snuffed. My gameplan changes from trying to attack him to simply waiting for him to make the first move before I react.
  21. ^^its speculation, we don't know anything for sure at this point.

  23. Considering how you don't have to release the button it's not really a negative edge. Your right about the damage, it's not quite that high normally. I just went back into training mode and retested with all gauges on nothing and it did significantly less. However it still did pretty good and you'll see those combos (or very similar) within the top replays. I stand by what I said, parry is way too powerful in this game. BTW if you have the game then we should play some online matches. XBL = APPLE 01 DOJ
  24. Would anybody be interested in seeing a little Mikoto combo vid? I could make one but Mikoto doesn't have that many combos. She's kind of like Chun Li in 3S with C being her win button instead of fierce. (seriously, her B&B is C>C>66C for like 30% life add a ex-fireball onto the end and it cranks it up to like 55%) In fact this game as a whole reminds me a lot of 3rd Strike. Parry in this is way over powered though. You can parry once during a multiple hit attack, dash behind the enemy and unlease a combo. Few notes of mine about Mikoto combos (mostly cause I have no place else to put these) Throw>C>66C>4C+S does around 50% Throw C>66C>S+C (does around 85%) Requires Max Gauge CC 66 C 6CS AAABB2B66A/B/C (A can cancel into 2CS) AAABB66A/B/C (both of the above are good for parry follow up, and can usually be ex-cancelled at the end but only with a specific ex) Most C combos can be lead into from JC (but not J2C) ...not sure if it's universal but Mikoto can hold down an attack and do 66 and the move will automatically come out when in range. You don't have to release the button. So you can do 2B(hold)66 and get a 4 hit combo.
