have anyone of you even tried this or are you just saying stuff? you have to remember this is off a blocked lv3 dp. there will be some block stun. i'm not saying this is the greatest idea ever.... i was just wondering if this is a valid means to escape after a blocked dp. and obviously nobody plays this game anymore so it was pointless asking

i meant on block also i've had plenty of situations where the 1st hit misses and the 2nd hit connects and its not counterhit

I just brought this up because I feel most comfortable sitting around 40-60% tension. Heat shouldn't be so much of an issue because he has multiple options to dissipate heat now. Also, when i do the jk js djs jhs combo, I feel much more comfortable with my positioning than when I end my combos with j.d. You can try it out or ignore it, I just feel more comfortable when I don't have to frc in my combos. What I really want to know is how practical the lv 3 dp frc lv3 missile is.

This may be old news but I found something out just now and I wanted to share. After a lv3 pony you can lift combo with 5p 5s instead of 5HS frc. Your damage output is a bit lower, but you don't have to lose any extra meter and don't have to deal with the frc tension gain penalty. I tested this on about 1/2 of the cast. The only chars this doesn't work on is the 'heavy weight' class chars (Ky, Po, Robo, ABA, Jo). You can instead do 5k 5s as lifter. The problem with this is that your damage output is much lower than if you were to do 5HS frc, especially since these are the higher defense chars too. The timing on this is a bit harder than doing the 5HS frc so you really have to pay attention to Robo's feet to make sure you press 5p/5k as soon as you land otherwise they just get pushed away. Similar to the 5HS frc lifter, what you can do afterwords depends on the distance you started the pony from. Also.... if anyone ever plays against other humans try out lv 3 dp (assuming no super connects) 236 frc (assuming you use some combination with S involved) to get the lv 3 missile as soon as you hit that frc. I haven't been able to play with ppl since Final Round, so I can only theorize how well this works. You have extra landing recovery, but I think you won't have to worry about having to FD as you land against those chars with stupidly good AAs.

if you throw someone into the corner they get up facing the wrong way. i don't think this works with command grabs and it doesn't seem to work with his normal grab because of the bounce. try it with may cuz i know it works with her

The reason that you are not hitting sol is that you are probably doing pony at sol's 'sweet spot' distance. In training mode against Millia and Chipp, I noticed there is this specific distance where pony would just pass straight through them when they are just standing neutral. The distance seemed to be different for both those chars, so I assume that each char has their own 'sweet spot' distance. Also isn't the corner crossover pony just using the corner throw glitch?

I'm not entirely sure about it... but I think when you do midscreen pony crossover hit, the opponent has a bit of crossover protection or something. There have been times when I pulled it off against another person. The back of the pony connected with them as soon as they got up. They were able to block it holding back in the original direction before I crossed them over. This may have just been poor timing, but in general, I believe the risks are far greater than the rewards for this.

roboky 2HS really isn't that reliable of an anti-air unless they are really high up

is there any way to combo after lv2 dp false on hit without being on fire? nevermind 1) its not worth it... you can only get like a j.s j.hs afterwords 2) it seems like you can only do it if you only hit with the 2nd hit and not both hits

He does some funky stuff and has some really odd pressure but these are definitely worth a watch. I used google translate and it said something about Taiwan... that would most likely explain why I never heard of him before....

i never saw many roboky v jo or roboky v roboky matches so i couldn't just copy any easy combos against them using less than 3 HS frcs to launch them i found out if you do 2k 2s 5HS frc 5k 5s you can catch them so much easier with the j.k as opposed to not doing the 5k the only problem with this is that they get pushed away pretty far so the only thing i could do at the moment is j.k j.s j.s j.hs (no fancy combos after that off a normal jump) this does close to 130 on jo and like 110 on roboky. while this might not seem like good damage... this is off of only 25% tension so i think its pretty good i don't think i saw this here before so hopefully it'll help people out.... but not really cuz nobody plays roboky or jo :<

If you are all the way at the back of the screen... when you get slide headed you actually don't get pushed off the mat (gain about 2 bars). This is only good when there is no possible way for potemkin to get to you in 1 hammerfall dash. The problem with this is that unless you time it... you are gonna get slide headed again. If I do manage to get 50% tension i almost always go for det super (just be careful to actually catch him with the explosion at the end... even on block is fine). How does roboky's j.D do against potemkin's? After a corner 2HS he gets right over me and i have trouble catching him with another 2HS I don't think I saw it but here is a list of things potemkin can flick (almost everything) missiles bazooka steam 6p (90% sure on this) probably 2HS... not sure but he can slide head through it anyway (the goddamn rocket flys through his head :<) (Yeah I also have no clue what to do against potemkin)

pretty sure if you just jump after you shoot missiles you don't have landing recovery either its just that jumping again doesn't seem as safe since it gives the other person more time to approach

oh this was talked about before.... i forgot what page it was on pretty much i think what they said earlier was that you can eliminate the landing recovery by doing a move you can jump cancel right before you land or something like that as useful as this sounds i rarely do it so i can't really explain it well
