  1. i don't know about roboky's anymore.. its got range but its avg speed now i would say may, faust, slayer, raoh, dragon install sol

  4. the mentioning of hitboxes isn't for the official hitbox pcbs, but when people make their own using a madcatz pad or something
  5. i mentioned one on the roboky thread macro leads to earliest frame robodashes every time how would someone know that i am using the glitch or if i just know also i need to test this out, but i know on ps2 gg, hitting left and right at the same time made your char block both directions.. need to test it out on the ps3 i know this is something that was brought up earlier for marvel but while it seems like we are on the topic of hitboxes again...
  6. heat f.s works on crouch, but you have to remember that there are a lot of ranges where far slash hits, but dust is too far away to connect
  7. yes just tried it out now also just tested.... in heat c.s will combo into 5d if they are in a crouching state, but 5p will not
  8. sf4 players also didn't ban the console only chars in tournament which is pretty different considering most console tournaments were run in ways to make it as close to arcade as possible even if you map gg buttons like sf4 style, the game still doesn't let you map a single input to multiple buttons so it doesn't really matter and yes the pop-n buttons aren't as sensitive as sanwas, but they are more fun to press in my opinion and since you use your entire hand instead of just 1 finger, it doesn't really make all that much of a difference in the end
  9. when you manually do the 1 frame button repress, can you do it more than once to allow for 3+ of the same bomb i know for certain when you alternate between two bombs you can get three of one kind and two of another on the screen at once and i need to test this out again but i think you can get four of the same bomb if you use the macro but only go for one bomb over and over
  10. +R should be 1.10 and you can't select those colors on console
  11. i actually think learning to use the ik macro would be more worthwhile. you'd have to hold macro + two buttons you don't want, but that gives you access to ez-mode spamming of every bomb

  13. so i was messing around with the macro glitch shinjin found macro + run = earliest possible robodash then you can just hold back to fd cancel the robodash on hit for combo not always practical, but there are plenty of situations where i want the earliest possible robodash and end up getting a normal because i didn't run long enough macros need to be banned for tournaments
  14. if this is allowed in tournaments you might as well allow ex chars as well
  15. wow that combo is really nice trying it out myself but having a lot of difficulty getting the 2s 2d 6p (trying it out on slayer like in your vid) so before i can get the timing on this, just wondering if you experimented with getting more than 3 hits before doing the 2s (like 5p c.s 6hs run c.s 6hs 2s)

  17. pochp: wow thanks for the feedback yeah, there were things i was doing that i was like.. oh man this is wrong as i was doing them, but (like just autopilot far slash into spin without confirming the hit) also 2d -> 236p is another autopilot i need to stop doing as for taunt -> 214k, would he be forced to block the taunt before 214k hits him? this particular faust loves throwing items and the RNG loves to give him whatever item is perfect for that situation, so i am too afraid of doing random 214k into a dumbbell/hammer also random 6p fullscreen was me making a bad guess about the scalpel pull in move, since his 6p can go under it then clash it pretty easily (or beat it if you timed it right)
  18. i am pretty sure that its the same as the regular ground dp, so that would make lvl 2 and 3 dps have a minimum of 3+5 frame startup
  19. its actually kind of hard to do high heat 2s stuff because the 2s itself increases your heat, so you have to remember you can't really do it above 95 heat to make sure you don't blow up afterwords after 2s in heat you can always just go into 2d and then superjump if they get hit i don't know the best universal combo yet, but i'll try stuff out when i get back home also its my personal belief that dogura is choosing not to do high heat stuff he never really used high heat only stuff in AC either, so maybe he just thinks the effort involved in maintaining high heat and decent meter does not reward with the high heat specific combos edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWKaEsBV4es i forgot to check gameacho for the casuals and best of 11 with winner (link above is roz vs dogura best of 11 games) and doesn't look like the casuals matches has any roboky also i tried out stuff against most of the cast (got all the different weight classes and unusual hitbox chars) seems like everyone but kliff and potemkin if you get 5p/5k -> c.s -> 2s you can follow up by canceling 2s into 2d then super jumping and j.k j.s j.p j.d into air dp for extra damage (unless you have 0 bars then you might blow up if you do it) it doesn't work on kliff because he gets pushed back so far from c.s -> 2s, that only the explosion hit connects and that hit can't be RCed or chained into whatever, so after the 2s just superjump into same combo on potemkin the j.s into j.p doesn't work, but its really easy to catch him with j.k off a normal jump instead of having to super jump, so you can just go into regular air bnb or something just want to remind people that this is a really easy near-universal combo and works everywhere on the screen i personally prefer these types of combos over char specifics unless i'm forced to because of something stupid like they don't have legs in the air

  21. i got some more matches in with senkei recorded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ceMFp0TBz8&list=PLZgocHU2sE52ZHvl5HRgiZgqcDrOgS7h- they start off with my bad kliff, but i switch over to roboky and use him for most of the set i feel more comfortable with roboky than i did in the day 1 matches and have gotten a little more adjusted to his +R heat gains by grinding it out against the computer (that doesn't use any of the new moves btw), but i still feel like this matchup is way harder than it was before (also senkei has been playing this matchup a lot better too, which really doesn't help... 5p and bazooka are pretty useless against faust)

  23. alright i am very bad an inexperienced with kliff, its just very likely that i was just making things a lot harder for myself than i should be
  24. elvenshadow: how do you think of the faust-kliff matchup i played it a few days ago myself (i was using kliff... very poorly), but it just feels like faust just has an advantage just because it feels like a lot of faust's normals have attack boxes that extend pretty far beyond vulnerable hitboxes, and it doesn't seem to be so much the case on stuff like j.s for kliff (which i assume is his primary aerial poke) also items are dumb i would just like to get some feedback from someone more experienced in that matchup and see if i can gets some insight from your thoughts edit: i would just like to add that i am asking just about the neutral game, since i am fully aware of the fact that if kliff knows what he's doing, his opponent is pretty much screwed once he does land that first good hit
