Okay, here's something a little more detailed. Teching options: Air backroll - From here, you have the option of crossing them up or staying on the same side. Crossing up and doing 6A forces a block, or a double jump/air dash. Air moves either get anti-aired or whiff during the cross-under. Air neutral - You can't reaction cross under doing this, but it leaves them at the perfect height for a meaty AUB 6A. Forces barrier block. All other options get hit out of. You can do an IAD DID cross-up after the 6A meaty here if they block for mixup (which is pretty dirty). Air forward - Try for meaty 5B on the opposite side. 5B is recommended because you might be out of range for a 6A. This is avoided by double jumps and air back dashing.

I've got a little gimmick. If you do a corner combo, after the ID, don't cross under and do a 5D. Dash cancel, and then continue to run after them. You should cross under for all air teching options (not really sure about ground teching). The problem with this is that it leaves them with an air action, so they can double jump or air dash away from you. This works well against characters with poor air options.

Meter usage may be good for something like the tips and tricks section. Also, we should include dash 5A in the combos section, since the guidelines did mention character specifics. Lumin, I can help with recording stuff.

Well, the JVM part really shows where your hate is. If you really want to pull your hair out, try LISP. -

Actually, D already exists (It's kind of meh imo, and it's based on C++ so it's not really that new). Iirc, there's even a "T" programming language. -
That's what I thought too when I first saw him. He seems like a mix of Magneto and Trish, with teleports.

What's up Plat boards? Just stopping by to show off my new avy. =w= Okay, back to the Ragna boards. -
It's not character specific at all, the timing is just a little odd to get used to at first. While it's not the same combo, 5D (1), 214D, 6D, whiff j.D, 5D (1), 214B -> delay 214D, 6D, j.623D -> immediate 236C -> immediate 214D can be seen here.

Lol I derped pretty hard there. XD The change is A Ice car wall bounds? Yea, that's really weird. I'm not surprised DP loops are out, but what are you supposed to do off of throws now?

Agreed. You're better off learning the real timing rather than relying on advanced input. -
623A means no dealing with 623B repeat proration. You can likely end with 623A, 214C more consistantly. Also, 6C, D super, 6A, relaunch all day!

This is fine. I definitely felt this way for a long time fighting Tao until I got a lot of matchup experience. When Tao lands a 2A, they are going to try and go for a reset that will net them a damaging combo. Do not burst if she lands a 2A. It's a waste of a burst. Don't mash grab on wakeup if you think they are going to try and throw you on your wakeup. Do a barrier guard with back A+B+C to OS throw tech (BE CAREFUL WITH THIS, IT CAN GET YOU THROW REJECT MISSED IF THEY KNOW YOU'RE DOING IT). There was one point you let Tao out of the corner to do a damaging Carnage Scissors combo. If you get Tao in the corner, do not let her leave! It's the only place you can keep her down and limit her options. -
If you Dead Spike her wakeup when she has wind, can she always wind tech and grab you for free?

Inb4 EC goes to town on this. There are just times when he's going off of some joke and not really talking about the match outside of the bare minimum (I.E. WhiteboyYugi). Don't get me wrong, it's great to get people excited about the game, and I'm not calling his commentary bad, but you never really learn anything.

That's actually really, really risky. But it works every now and then as a mind fuck. If people are looking for it, they can punish you hard, -

It's great that you're going to Chicago Heart, because you'll get to do exactly this. Play a buch of casuals. Talk to the better players. Ask questions on how to imporve your game. -

Hey Callisto. First off, welcome to the Ragna forums! I don't have access to YouTube so I can't see your matches, but about the ID follow up, there are two steps to learning how to do dash under 3C. First, as simple as it may sound, just do the dash under. Don't try to attack yet. The timing for the dash under varies by the height they hit the wall, and it's a little hard to make a video tutorial for it because Ragna usually isn't on screen for the dash under. Usually, when they start falling faster vertically, you should have just started your dash. When you feel comfortable with the dash under, use Jin to practice hitting the 3C. It's easier to hit the 3C on him than most of the cast. Chicago Heart is soon right? I would stick to 5D>Hell's Fang or 5D>ID->236C>214D enders if you aren't comfortable with your execution by then. Whiffing a 3C is not good, and the lack of practice won't help if you get nervous. If you really want to see some video examples, go look at Jourdal's youtube channel. There are a bunch a Ragna combo tutorials on there. -
According to the frame data, Makoto's 5C-C is -3 on block, so even on IB, she can bait ID by not doing anything.
