thanks oda and zong, this is helping alot! just to confirm, itsuu is the move where the stick spins around her right? i've had bad experiences trying 214a fakeouts only to get punched in the face with CH j.C =/ but ill keep it in mind. what move is kote gaeshi? what does the animation look like? im gunna go into training mode with her and figure this stuff out for myself but, when she manually sets the stick down can she send the stick down as well? from vids it looks like it can only go up? maybe if u see how i play u can better advise me... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZG3VAM4RZDs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAvjxV9CvRA i know i won but they were more lucky if anything =/ and believe me thats definitely not how our usual matches go

k this matchup cannot be ignored anymore man honestly... does anyone have any REAL viable info for this matchup? cuz im not about to sit here gettin run down but this stupid stick into a corner. the good litchi's who seem to kno the match up (or maybe its just their general playstyle) they retreat with j.C, throw the stick and RTSD. is there anything i can do to stop this? also is there a way to tell if the stick is going high or low? this would definitely help with my spacing and decision making =/ if anyone has any advice its much appreciated. i've literally only been winning rnds with blocked dps into 100% but that isnt completely reliable. does anyone know at any point in gatlings if i can IB and punish that would help too. one obvious im sure most of you have noticed is when she does her corner mixup with the distortion move, if you block the first hit of her mixup you can CA (counter assault) and you'll be invincible til the end of the special. depending on your timing the last hit of the staff may need to be blocked but its definitely saved me several times. not sure about everyone else but i always use gold burst in this match for that cheap easy 70%-100% curse and i pray to allah that i kill this b!tch. also landing 5C into 100% is a god send but if your litchi knows what they are doin they always rush with the stick usually taking away that opportunity to anti air her with 5C thats all i got... im lookin at you ZONG and Kou... i think we really need to start looking into this matchup, i know its really an uphill battle for litchi but nothing is hopeless... that and i dont know how much more perfects i can take, this ish is starting to hurt my pride yo lol

so in this match would you say i have to chase carl down? or vice versa? im playin a pretty good carl and if i turtle, so does he putting nirvana in the middle of us kinda makin me more scared to approach him. so it seems natural to chase him. am i right about this?

is it possible to combo noel from 5C (non FC) to get at least 70% curse? i cant pull it off =/

i hope the hitbox for 5A > 6B gets bigger i cant remember how many times this has whiffed on me =(. and i wish 5A > 2A and 2A > 5A shud be a gatling, thats just a pipe dream tho lol.

i agree with synthesis. and if someone could honestly repost these 100% curse combos on Mu i'd like that, but honestly i can flawlessly do these combos on ragna, litchi, and tager for some reason, everyone else is really hard =S (bang is pretty easy too)

i play against a really good makoto on the regular "OmniSScythe" on XBL if anyone is familiar with his GT. but honestly this match up is ridiculous. her j.B will be you air to air, her 6A will either beat ur j.B clean or trade (and on trade its still in his favor cuz he can still easily combo from it). and its almost next to impossible to punish any of her atks. her dmg output his consistently high. it is possible to backdash some of her strings thankfully but honestly her mixup tough. her risk vs reward is far to skewed imo

beware of 2C as it will cleanly beat out j.4B. also i would say maybe 7 out of 10 times her j.C will beat ur 5C due to spacing, not really sure about this i may need to dbl check but i remember being very frustrated with this atk. also i think shes a bit tricky to DC for some reason. cant remember. gunna test some stuff against her now... edit: yea she is a bit tricky to DC, shes in the same category as noel and tsubaki so i use.... 5C > JC > j.A > j.A > j.C > j.2A > DC > 5D > HJC > j.A > j.C > j.D note: the main difference is you have to use 2 j.As instead of 1 in the beginning.

yeah im trying this as i post this... you have to IB the previous move (usually 5C) before you can punish 6B with airthrow. an easier and safer option thajt i use is... 5A > JC > j.A > j.C > j.2A > DC > 5D > HJC > j.A > j.A > j.C > j.D (70% curse) as for C-DP punish on block i use... j.D > LAND > 5D > JC > j.A > j.C > j.D (100% curse) and sometimes i backdash to bait dp and in this case i will use... 2C (FC) > 5A > JC > j.A > j.C > j.2A > DC > 5D > HJC > j.A > j.A > j.C > j.D (70% curse)

just a little something i find useful when im magnetized (although its player specific) if you IB 5D (the yellow punch) you can punish with 5A > 6B > j.6D also a little something i do is when im magnetized and i just escape his pressure i immediately put out a bell bug and keep backdashing, if the opportunity is there i might throw out 2D, j.xD, or a cloud (close to the ground) until mag wears off. if he chases me to a corner obviously its then safe to corner teleport

im not sure of the notation for the move but the animation looks like she is crouching and sticks out a wing. this move is a very strong anti-air and 8 out 10 times will beat j.4B. if i remember right it leads to about 2-3k dmg? dive cancel loops are difficult to perform on her (or i suck). as kou said its pretty hard to stop her from charging, but vice versa you can also get bell bug and clouds out. i like high jumpin and air grabbing her if shes charging in the air near me. also jus to note, 5C will always get a clean fatal counter if she does that air dive giving you a potential chance to get 100% curse. if i block her dp i usually punish with either air grab > 100% curse or 2C (FC) > 5A > JC > j.A > j.A > j.C > j.2A > DC > 5D > HJC > j.A > j.C > j.D (im pretty sure this works)

actually it doesnt have to be FCH. and believe me if you try to end it with HJC > j.A > j.C > j.D j.C will whiff as far as i kno only j.6B > JC > j.C > j.D works try it out

Discuss. I personally haven't played this match up a lot but i have noted to myself that 5C works very well if you know shes going to Drive at you so this will land you a 70% curse (if you can dive cancel). Also j.B beats her drive if i remember correctly, sometimes i'll jump once and do falling j.B to protect myself from her drive attacks. My main concern was to protect myself from her 6A.

You can do 6 dives in 1 combo if you want to. Its a bit hard but doable. On some characters you can only get 5 dives. How that would work is when you go for the second set of dives it would be j.A > j.2A > j.2[C] > ]C[~5B > C-bug hits > B-bug hits > etc After the wormhole super you can go into shark loop, this I already know. I just thot it was worth mentioning that you can also go into the dive loop as well. I swear to god that the throw combo does work, very hard but doable. It probably does not work on all chars but definitely jin and ragna. It all depends on how deep you hit 5D. I'll try and do a combo tutorial or at least clips of the combos i mentioned. Getting j.C to hit on Carl (without crossing up) is quite hard due to his hitbox but there is a way to do it. I cant remember it at the moment but when I do i'll post it up. sry if i made any notation mistakes just let me know and i'll edit it

thnx kamui moon for the combos. i actually didnt know you can do the midscreen throw combo. gotta try that one. 2nd combo u mentioned "launch" what move are you refering to? and i guess for midscreen combos all i can really rely on is stinger aim frcs into 2D

@moroha: okay so im not failing combos lol. yah i noticed ALOT of my doobie combos werent working and landing 6HS twice doesnt give KD either. =S i guess i'll have to go into training mode and see what works cuz that is really annoying. and i didnt know aba can slide under dark angel. as long as my friend doesnt know i'll keep that to myself hehehe as for the random danzai stuffing i actually had that happen this weekend but i cant remember what move i used to stuff it. but i remember it was something completely random that really shudnt have worked. are you playing on ggac plus jap? btw does venom's f.S beat aba's longest range moves?

awesome thnx guys. the idea of backdashing after rekkas and 2H sounds really good. anyone know why aba can tech after 5HS > dubious curb? that seems to be my biggest problem. maybe this is a glitch in accent core plus? cuz thats the version im playing... im gunna go try the original accent core.
