  3. I suppose that air FB disc, hs disc mix up scenario is over.....that sucks. And it obviously seems that some of her mix up options will be changed as well. Like her disc oki, IAD over, IAD back, j.s, 5p, j.k, j.s~hs, pin, land, 6hs->roll, disc. As well as some of her turbofall/roll mixups that are similar. But the first part it still viable as I would assume you could still catch the j.s, 5p, j.k, j.s~hs and ADC combo. So really I think that aspect of her game has improved.

  6. Um.........ok. If you are talking about my post notes....I post some of the "well known" things bc as I have said umpteen times, not everyone is as "experienced" here. You, Teyah, myself, etc may, but we only make up a small portion here. There are alot of newer people coming onto the boards, so I feel posting as such is better, compared to not posting it. Anyways, in the vid, I really didn't gather too much from this Millia that I hadn't already seen......so, it's hard to really make observation notes.

  8. Oh wow blitz. BTW, just for discussion's sake, what do you all prefer to use? Stick or pad? I personally prefer pad. I HATE the stick's layout, and I've never had a problem on pad. The only thing easier on stick, at least for me, is the SG inputs. I don't have problems with them on pad, but I just find stick to be easier to input them. Everything else, I'll take pad please.
  9. Yes, just do that practice. I myself practice AT LEAST one hour a day, sometimes more when I can. It really does help, and it's how you learn.

  11. Yes, Teyah is right. Her pin time is really tight in the air now, so pinloops won't be the thing to do anymore. ADC's are where it's at. =P And yes, Koichi's I-No play ALMOST made me tempted to learn her and drop Millia. But I own with Millia, so I'll just stick with her for the time being. It would probably take a new character that I just totally love to make me drop Millia down to a secondary.
  12. Haha, you're more than welcome. Yes, AKA is the face Millia in the US at the current time, though he has mentioned he doesn't even know if she'll remain his primary for AC. I have seen vids of him playing other characters, so I guess we'll see. I do agree about Woshige though....he's impressed me more than Koichi at the moment. Koichi has the most experience I'd say, but Koichi plays quite a few characters now. His I-No is something else though, when he has his game on.
  13. Haha, np Teyah. I knew some of this stuff was known from earlier, but I just figured I'd throw it in the notes anyway since some people may not have known. So j.d, delayed j.k, j.d for your successful knockdowns eh. I'd say in a sense it will be kind of like her late j.hs, 2hs relaunch on her pinloop. We'll just have to practice. I do like that Woshige stepped his game up, he was very impressive.
  14. After watching Woshige's vid, I've picked up a few notes.... 1)Apparently they can Burst after 6hs ADC combo ender. Not really surprising, but noteworthy. 2)2k, Lustshaker->Longinus is a nice little mixup that will probably become regularly used. I also noticed you CAN get launch from it in the corner. Woshige followed up with running 5s, 2hs for launch into ADC combo. 3)Nice air to ground after pin to note that could be useful.....pin, IAD forward, j.k, j.p, j.k, 2k, 2s, Emerald Rain, 6hs->roll, FB disc/HS disc 4)DAYUM at Millia pwnage on that last vs round. 5)Launch from hs disc, low Bad Moon in corner is possible. 6)You apparently can substitue the pin with Bad Moon after j.d for knockdown in corner on ADC combos. It didn't look like they had any time to tech that to my knowledge. 7)Apparently the first hit of 6p can clash with dolphin, but the second hit enabled her oppertunity for launch. 8)I guess LS will become a normal used move as well now. But it opens up combo oppertunity, and hey, it's not like any other character is any better at this point. *cough**cough**cough**cough*

  16. I can safely say FB disc comes out before HS disc. Frame wise I'm not sure just how much faster, but in order to stop corner pressure when they are right on top of you, it would have to be quite fast. EDIT: Ah ok, I had to go back and read what I had said. I think they both take around the same time to activate. FB disc may be slightly faster. Although unlike HS disc, if Millia isn't hit before the alotted time, but hit afterwards regardless if FB disc has activated, it will STILL form and activate.

  18. Honestly, I'm not too sure.....I'd guess it would be situational for that, or obviously the HS disc is the other option. So 25% for FB disc, or 25% for FRC HS disc, or just plain old HS disc? Ah decisions, decisions. Either way, your priority should be launch for those ADC combos, which hopefully will end in corner, and hopefully learn to time that pin/low j.d for the 6hs knockdown for more oki. Personally, I would use FB disc in air for ADC stuff, and for stoppting corner pressure since it comes out so fast. HS disc I will probably still use for most of my mid screen stuff. However, keep in mind that the air FB disc and HS disc can be on screen at the same time. I have this nasty corner mixup in my head that may work something like HS disc oki, IAD back, pin, IAD forward, j.s/j.hs/j.d->late air FB disc, optional 5s, 2hs(picks up pin). On block, connect 2d->hs disc for more corner pressure. I've been running that through my head for the past 10 minutes. Not sure if it is valid since I can't play AC yet, but just an idea for thought.

  20. No, I don't believe so, just VERY fast startup from what I can tell. It is said you can knock her out only within the first few frames, so that's why I assume no.
  21. Yes, I've been quite surprised with Dizzy. Well, Millia has ALWAYS had the threat of that CH=death in every game. Now she just has a few more options that she can work with, and is more of an immediate threat herself. Like her FB disc for instance. Corner wise, I've seen it interrupt Ky and Dizzy pressure why they were right on top of her. So it obviously activates very quickly.
  22. Yes, Anji looks like he's getting better. I have to say the same for Millia as well. I think she may go a little higher up than her Slash listing, but I won't say it's for certain. The reason I say this is mainly due to her FB disc being as fabulous as it is, and the fact that she is much more of an immediate threat in that she need only ONE airpoke for possilbe ADC combo oppertunity, not to mention getting her #R throw incarnation. Her longer ground stun on pin is a nice addition as well, as I predict air to ground will become easier. Only major downfall I really see is that her pin air tech time is horribly nerfed now compared to Slash. However, I really see alot less reliance on her pin use for combos, and even then it's mainly used at the end for 6hs knockdown. So I see it being used mainly for lockdown/getting in. Her damage output is also back down to #R, so she no longer gets really "good" damage like she did in Slash, espcially considering her big 4(CH 2hs, j.d, 236s, 6hs) are no longer accounted for.
