oh shit that mangan license, congrats! no trouble I presume? lol what the fuck ray. yesterday night one of my dreams was about zombies. mother fuckers killed my parents. you actually average 3-4 different dreams every night, most people's dream recall just isn't good enough to remember all of them. I had 4 last night that I can distinctly remember

hahahaha touhou: westin and little nature deity anyway, big white is booked, I only have 10 days to cancel so for the following people, speak now or forever hold your breath: WU FONG JASON TORRY RAY just kidding! I have until the end of november to make changes, so if one or two of you need to cancel by then, that's fine, the rest of us will just have to pay extra (or find extras). if all of you need to cancel, I'll be by to shoot out your kneecaps, so try to avoid this that, plus myself joe paul and other gabe, who are confirmed, for a total of 9. $600 per person unless we happen to pick up some more people. GET HYPE

I've talked to / left messages with all the people who initially expressed interest but I figured I'll post it here as well to ensure complete. global. penetration. see: efficient market hypothesis though in my experience only weak-form EMH, at best, holds. imperfect AKA inside information ftw, but enough gets missed that fundamental analysis can still work, especially during down cycles. it's too bad the earthquake wasn't more severe, I was hoping the market would slip today. (just kidding, glad you're OK gabe!) also, the pseudorandom element in games is essentially yomi; need to go deeper. obligatory I N C E P T I O N

hahaha. I can appreciate jay's point of view though. he prefers go to mahjong because if you lose in go (or chess, or any similar game) the only person you have to blame is yourself - such are games of perfect information. I'm a very analytical kind of guy myself so chess is my sort of game (and GG rather than SF, etc.); this probably explains my preference for games with long/damaging combos since if raoh can theoretically murder you via nutpunching every time he so much as touches you, then essentially I'm playing a game that allows me to minimalise the external factors that determine victory. on the other hand, as hype as brilliant moves or zwischenzugs in chess are, they are, inherently, only possible due to the shortcomings of the opponent - in essence, nothing more than human error. in comparison, being non-dealer in the last game of south round and pulling off the limit hand comeback? that shit is mad hype. also go is ridiculously hard, so fuck go. IS MAHJONG BAY-BEE and yeah that was an interesting interview. always nice to see inside the thought processes of people who are at the top of their game. my favourite counterpart from chess would be this one interview with kasparov where he was saying how at around move 28 of the game, he had already envisioned a rook move in the endgame - he specifically mentioned something like 55. ... Rc4. that was pretty mindblowing.

hahahahaha that's awesome. shit, didn't know tasofro made it though, love their stuff. gotta get me some of that. and yeah, it certainly feels like I've been playing EFZ for a decade now. lol @ redline. watched it for the third time yesterday. must buy the novel, which has all sorts of extra stuff that they had to cut out of the movie.

lol john romero grief syndrome? without searching up the name, based off your description of the characters and their abilities, it sounds like a doujin fighter based off of MAHOU SHOUJO MADOKA MAGICA. I would highly recommend that you watch this show gabe, it's an amazing deconstruction of the magical girl genre (like what evangelion was to giant robots) and was animated by SHAFT, so lots of cool eyecandy all around. unfortunately, it sounds like a terrible fighter. because there are only FIVE CHARACTERS IN THE SHOW. speaking of which, gabe, I watched redline with peter and long. damn if that movie isn't sweet! must download BD copy when it comes out. wow, didn't know mbaacc was confirmed. really wish it was for ps3 instead though! tramador: we meet up more or less every friday evening at my apartment (which is close to ubc). I am generally always there (what with it being my apartment and all) and I am always up for some gg, since I don't really play ssf4/mvc3. a couple of us still prefer gg (will, torry, etc) over any of the more recent fighters so you'll have people to play. if you're interested, I can PM you my contact info and address!
