Just curious about whether or not you all are interested in having a crew battles thing for CP. Something like EC vs WC or having 2 captains and switching off with drafts. How I'm thinking it will work is (If you've been in the smash bros scene you should know how this will work): As usual each match is first to win 2 rounds. Maybe extend it to first to 3 rounds, or make each fight a FT2. Count each round as a life. If you beat someone but you lose a round, when you are facing the next opponent, you don't have that round. (just sit there and let your opponent 5A your life to zero or something for that one round before actually starting to play) Of if its decided to be a FT2, each match counts as a life, and that will be easier to handle. Pool all your lives together for a total count. (There will be a cap of course and both teams must have an equal count at the start) The team to hit zero lives first loses.

[CP] ν-13 Simple Questions And Answers Thread
someonewhodied replied to toanenadiz's topic in v -13-
I'm pretty much dropping drives entirely against some characters and just using straight up rushdown or gravity keepaway. I find it works better against characters like Tao, Kagura, and Koko -
Toan owes me a match. and I wanna play XDest again. Not late-night this time. :v

BlazBlue Question Thread - Ask your questions here!
someonewhodied replied to KayEff's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
Anyone having a problem with dropped inputs? I've found it mostly happens when you get a PSN notification like XXX is online/offline, or a message, but when that happens you usually notice that no inputs are picked up for like 5 seconds (Exxagerating here, its like a few milliseconds). Im testing it right now with my controller adapter's input recording function and lining up that with the screen. When i do 623CC ABC 623CC (I doubletap and advanced input), i get 623C RC j.C 623C edit: I accidentally a word or two. -
Alright that confirms it. This game hates me. I had my suspicions so I used the app for cronus to log my inputs. I didn't input a single incorrect input that last match i: Didn't get a dp 90% of the time, despite my input log saying i had 623C623C over and over with a few double 66s (well its > v >v B) but yeah. And that last moment when i got hit on wakeup in the air by a j.B, Input log says i was holding back. Dunno what to say about this game now.

Nu 6A shouldn't lose to Tsubaki J.C when shes like 3 character distances away airdashing when I start my 6A
-
my hands feel so laggy How am I winning. how am i even doing anything O_o How am i even typing this message to complain.
-
Huh, its just you then. All the other nus I've played have no issues using drives in the air in neutral in luna mode. All like 4 of them Though I'm taking a liking to luna as well, I personally feel that in a mirror match, neither mode has a clear cut victory over the other.
-
Same as CSE, its DP safe by just back airdashing, J.B is also a safe jump if well-timed.
-
Personally, I've found it doesn't matter which form you are in. Its all prediction. Sure if dia and luna clash drives, luna's will win, but lets face it, how often will you actually clash drives? a 6D and j.2D almost never clash, the most that can happen is a luna shredding through a spike chaser after its been launched. Meanwhile, Dia can force luna to use an air drive, and with proper placement, a crescent will whiff or if the opponent doesn't crescent and you IB the drive, you can just throw out a 5D and hit the opponent pre-landing landing. There is still more but its all just about which form you are more comfortable in. Also the old saying about murakumo mirrors. Whoever hits the button first wins.
-
instead of gravity oki, after 236C i just do 22A>TK Feint>4B/3C/IAD j.B Its working a lot better since it also adds the airdash option that beats those people that like to quick wakeup>grab to beat nu 4B

Shoutouts to toan for always dodging me :v Even if its unintentional. I don't think I've played toan once since CP came out.
-
uh block mostly. My Litchi has a pretty obvious mixup.
-
GG stellar. IBing on netplay is easier said than done =_=
-
Not warming up at all. After this match im switchin to mu or litchi for a match or two to see if that helps. Alright think I'm warmed up now. NOW lesgo.
-
man I've lost all the playing mindset but sure I'll give it a shot. If I can't seem to build up my playing mindset don't be surprised if I switch to mu though.
-
This will be really helpful for us. When doing frame data simulations, I only just realized we can actually beat this.
-
I study frame data a LOT. I'm almost at borderline autistic when it comes to this stuff. (medically I'm not though :v) But I spend like an hour a day just running frame data simulations with notepad and the frame data on dustloop. Just don't ask me to do most of what i find is possible in a real match.

theres one good pinksquare valk i've come across but other than him, i haven't had any issues with valks. mash 5A all day erry day. IB the low, 5A the wolf dash high. All day erry day.
-
Fite me.

Bloodwolf is a special kind of evil. He probably mentally disables your direction sticks directions other than 7 8 9 and 2. That way you can't block and can only jump into the swords. I see it coming every time but whenever I try to upback the swords it doesn't happen and i get hit. Meanwhile, I block that same setup from achedsphinx every time (for like the 2 times it happened in our set) also ggs achedsphinx, Nu mirrors are hard.
-
Achedsphinx with those perfect bursts. On my un-jump cancellable moves and only in the corner too. Why are nu mirrors so hard? Its literally who presses the button first and im slow. How am I winning with my honey-dipped hands. (not really honey dipped but they feel slow) Grabs are definitely BS in this game. I have my cronus hooked up to my PC via USB and it definitely said I pressed Y and B on my controller. I'm gonna record inputs and do a side by side frame by frame with a replay later.
-
you can air act parser after a crescent cancel? I've been living a lie.
-
I've been having more success by playing in a hakumen's face recently than actually zoning.
