  1. exactly the time frame I'll be on the road OTL
  2. it needs proper placement. You don't just immediately gatling tachi, you have to sometimes delay it.
  3. man netplay. Im getting too old for this shit =_= ggs to DocterNK shoutouts to tsu for 5A mashing on wakeup And mcshadow, you somehow got disconnected. Fun fact, they still use the same "your opponent has disconnected" window from CSE despite other menus changing.
  4. When do I get 4B reversal back ;~; #whensCP2
  5. But they are good players overall. Nu herself isn't too amazing. With the game sped up and the recovery on her whiffs not sped up, its like they WANT nu to be a rushdown character now.
  6. Well yeah, lambda gets great combos with meter, but I can easily hit a meterless 4 to 5K with nu now.
  7. You just play overdrive with a character attatched though. You can always do Shippu loops. (Ok just kidding about this part) I have to 22A buffer between every attack to every 3 attacks. Its not easy on the fingers. There is more 22 pressing than a good CSE platinum player does, and I was impressed with people that could do 22C>RC reps in CSE with platinum.
  8. Man I've seen nothing but the nerf bat since CT. I can't wait to see what they do to nerf my character next #whensCP2 But GGs to the people I played. I'm getting too old for this shit =_=. I can't do even basic combos right now.
  9. oh yeah, i keep forgetting that j.2B isn't an overhead. And i had a combo for OTG cancelled j.2B with amane too. anyways using amane against nu, i'll say that IADing with nu is not a good idea. a simple 5C stops that. Your best bet is to bait out a 5C and do a running 5D with nu, throw out random 6Ds to condition your opponent to not use that command jump, and a few 4Ds is never a bad idea. This honestly isn't a hard matchup for nu. ----------------------------------------------------- Ok after playing a few matches against a good amane, here is my overview: "his" tools: 2C (Long range ground attack) 3C (Long reach low and fast) 5C (Long Range Antiair) Command Floats (Escape option for whiffed 5Ds and normals) 236D~C 5D/j.6D 5B/j.B Your Tools: [Dia] 236D 665D 4D 6D 6A sj. Rising j.B [Luna] 236B/C 5/4/6D 6A Overview: Amane wants to be Near fullscreen distance, but a tiny bit closer. He will be trying to nail you with 2Cs and 236D~Cs from fullscreen, and if you try to approach him he will have his B attacks and 5C to prevent it. The best way to play this matchup is to look for these moves and punish appropriately: Amane | Nu 5C | 665D/4D 2C | 4D 236D~C | 4D Command Floats | 6D Jump ins (if any amane is that dumb) | 6D/6A
  10. lambderps was definitely better at setups but nu gets better damage this time around. (not counting that BS 10.5K combo i found with lambda that only works on platinum)
  11. here is a combo for a tachi counter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pr51HN-s8sM
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-g-L50PN-c 2C counter combo i came up with.
  13. when people obviously lagswitch. When i know someone is a lagswitcher, I just go straight to mu and instead of playiing for real, I turn the person's lag against them with laser spam (which is hilariously unblockable in lag unless you hold block, in which case you get chipped out) but it still bothers me when someoen is obviously lagswitching. And another thing that bothers me is when people choose auto or random stage. My eyes don't handle bright stages very well (as in I see blurry, can only see general locations of players and attacks on screen, not if its a low/overhead or even a grab exclamation point) so when someone thinks its a good idea to put me on a brighter stage I generally just try to run all match and poke people to death. Not even bothering with combos.
  14. I superjump and airdash the moment i see shippu's starting animation (superflash), repeat, bonus points if the hakumen messes up and i react fast enough to throw out a gravity. Oh yeah, i forgot to mention, this is assuming the hakumen does 2 kishus after each shippu. If its just one, well I'd have to play against a haku that did that to find out, but with 2 kishus, if the hakumen gets too close, you can airdash over them safely off of a super jump.
  15. so I've made a good midscreen combo, with resources: [Dia]2B/5B/6B/5C>3C>CT>663C>22A>6A>4B>2DD>214D>2DD>{623C, 236D Oki, 22A>4B for overhead meaty, 22A>214D~C if your opponent has no DP}[Final Mode Varies]
  16. Im tempted to get this game for mac just to get REAL matchup exp. hakumen so damn free. And here i thought OD and mugen shippuspam would be an issue.
  17. huh. Try replacing the 6A>6B with 2C>5C Same proration but should squeeze out another 100 or so damage.
  18. 214D~C Starter. Wry. Im trying to hit 9K with a 5C fatal starter since I get a LOT of those. (awesome combo though. Im gonna try to pull it off in a match)
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYBjlfgmPOw This one is the best I got. My execution is slow when it's this late.
  20. Oh that makes sense now. Try it this way: [Luna]OD>5C(FC)>CT>236C>214A>22A>236D>22A>6A>TK Crescent>6A/5B>2C>623C>[5DD?]>2DD>6C>236D>Re-OD>214D>22A>236236D>236C>22A>236C>22A>632146D[Dia] I try to end all my combos in Dia form since I prefer that form more.
  21. in Dia midscreen, I do: Guardbreak>5Cx8>3C>22A>6A>4B>2DD>214D>662DD>623C>22A>Reverse Sickle Oki i just love that setup.
  22. ggs to everyone in arcade lobbies. Sorry i couldn't join frost. Working hard on my amane.
  23. whats the combo tuka? for 8.8K I'll see if I can squeeze a bit more out later.
