  1. GGs to the people I played tonight
  2. Apparently my copy of Extend is coming today, so if anybody wants to play just send me a message or something when I'm on.
  3. Yeah I had a feeling I was wrong lol. Guess that just goes to show since I don't have Extend yet :c And lol I love when two people gold burst at the same time, it's really funny when the hivemind is so strong that they both do the same thing. Oh yeah, forgot about MTW, that's also a good option for baiting bursts as well.
  4. Actually I'm pretty sure gold bursts got harder to punish if you block them, I could be wrong though so don't quote me on it. (I'll assume you're talking about using Gold bursts against Tager, so here goes) Gold bursts are indeed a good reversal option sometimes, but if you use them too much then the opponent Tager (if they're good) will start to adapt and punish it with voltic charge->720 or stuff. I catch a lot of wake-up gold bursts by walking up and just voltic charging if I smell the fear and desire to burst to get the Tager away. But yeah, it's still a good option, especially if you have a DP in addition to it to mix it up a bit. What character do you use?
  5. I smelled American patriotism so I just thought I'd come by and salute. Anyways, XBL: Sylvais State: Hawaii Got a mic?: Yes Availability: Pretty much any time I'm not in class BBCS:EX: Getting it this week, then will proceed to learn Jin :D
  6. Pretty good, Extend Tager is looking hype. Just gotta get his new combos down then I can start to work on traps lol How are you guys doing?
  7. I love them both
  8. Hello Tager players, I have come to study the science of magnets with you guys. :3
  9. I call them sledgables, not to be mistaken for the packaged lunch variant called Lunchables. Agreed.
  10. The game looks interesting and I've always wanted to get good at it but never had anyone to really practice with. Hopefully now that it's getting ported to the newer consoles I'll be able to practice more easily with people and play it competitively. Getting hyped for this release
  11. If you think the Hazama is going to attack from the front on a blocked Ouroboros then go for it. However, I wouldn't just autopilot input it every time he flies in because if he chooses to appear from behind you he can deal some huge damage since the anti air would whiff.
  12. We share them here? I have a few meaty setups and oki setups that are pretty nice that I wouldn't mind sharing lol
  13. Hmm when I get my copy of Extend I'll be more than happy to help out with the guide what with combos and tactics, etc. In CS2 training mode I tried out all sorts of silly stuff today lol
  14. ^This. Also, I'm pretty sure we've never played before Toan, I'd love to get some matches in against you sometime lol
  15. Ooh Relius. That sounds like fun, it'd be good matchup experience for me since I don't have a clue how to fight him lol. Dat Ignis blows me up all day
  16. Overseas shipping takes a while lol :c We should totally play again once we both get Extend though, last time we played was only like 2 games.
  17. CS2 training mode will have to suffice for this week's entertainment until CSE comes. ; 3;
  18. ggs to plectrum, energizer and lu bu. Now that I know how to counter sledge better I'll try not to be such a scrub next time lol ; 3;
  19. j.2DD is usually the better option because it produces a similar effect to 5DD but it can be cancelled with j.214D© on block into other things which makes it a lot less risky than a 5DD. Don't get me wrong, 5D is still a good tool but like Overheat said, it's probably best to use it when the opponent is really far away so that in case it misses you'll have time to recover.
  20. I miss those days. :c
  21. Agreed lol. Her mixup is ridiculously good
  22. I freaking love Extend Lambda. 2147D->RC->5DD->Cavalier->Wheel is so awesome.
  23. I'm terrible at GG but I still enjoy the game lol. Should show up to one of our events and get acquainted/maybe play a few games :3
  24. I'd recommend you also take a look at 2B starters, 6A starters, and how to properly deal damage on crouching hitconfirms. 2B can do some good damage if you have heat, and always leads to a good knockdown and oki if you don't. 6A is a good anti-air to know, and if you manage to get a CH with it, you can go: 6A(CH)->66->3C->214A->2DD->2147D->6A->6C->236C->etc In regards to crouching confirms, I'd advise you to always watch your opponent when they're being hit to see if they're being hit while crouching. Even if you manage to hit them with a 2B and they're crouching, you can go into 2B->6B->(5C(xN)Optional)->4B->2DD->214A->etc. Just remember that if you get a crouching confirm, always confirm it into 4B somehow if you have a Gravity Seed. It leads to good damage, corner carry and oki and can really help you out in a pinch.
  25. lol I check this place every day I just kept forgetting to post.... until today
