  1. Oh, yeah punishing after one of those whiffed moves would be hard. I was thinking of just doing 2147D© and sitting there for a sec to see if they backdash, but that kinda defeats the purpose and people probably wouldn't fall for it if they realize you aren't attacking, so I guess that doesn't work. Hmm, I wonder if 2147D©->j.214D->RC->Stuff would be able to punish the backdash. Gotta test all this stuff in the lab... lol But yeah thanks for the info
  2. Oh, good to know about that 6A thing. I'll revise those combos tomorrow and see the damage/heat gain differences when I'm less tired. Thanks for the tips. = v = But Yoshiki setup is dash-under 2147D© mixup right? Can't you punish the backdash on reaction?
  3. Shoutouts to getting better connection with random JP players than I do with most American ones :V
  4. Fooling around with some corner combos... So fun. More fun than lagging it up on netplay lol 4.6k (meterless) off of 2B: 2B->3C->214A->236C->44->5C(xN)->6C->236D->214D©->214D->4B(2)->2DD->hj.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D 4.9k off of 2147D->RC: 2147D->RC->5C(xN)->6C->236D->214D©->236C->44->4B(2)->2DD->2147D->66->6DD->2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D 5.1k (meterless)j.2C to ground confirm: j.2C(xN)->2B->3C->214A->236C->44->5C(xN)->6C->236D->214D©->214D->4B(2)->2DD->hj.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D 3.8k (meterless) off of a throw: Throw->4B(2)->2147D->5C(xN)->6C->236D->214D©->236C->44->4B(2)->2DD->hj.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D 4-5k (meterless) off of 4B(2) (I forgot the exact damage lol but it does around 4 or around 5k I think)(It's just the throw combo without the throw lol): 4B(2)->2147D->5C(xN)->6C->236D->214D©->236C->44->4B(2)->2DD->hj.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D After experimenting with these and hitting people with them a few times, they just rageburst out of my pressure when I do the Yoshiki setup that could lead into any of these lolol
  5. There's also AchedSphinx, Lilseph (crayon), Majiicx and me (in addition to the others who were mentioned) who play on XBL.
  6. Gotta watch out for his increased amount of meter gain too, which means more kishuu and more guessing.
  7. ^ This. It really helps if you know the majority of Tao's crossups and various tricks. Then it's simply reading what she'll do and countering accordingly, implying that we're in her mixup. As for the offensive, you can kill Tao in two good combos since she has barely any hp, so if you manage to lock her down the match can be won fairly quickly/easily. The more you let her move, the harder the match is for Lambda. I play against one of the best (if not the best) Taokaka in America pretty often, and I used to be really free to the matchup but now (after looking up her moves/tricks) she's fairly easy to block if you're on your toes. Also I wouldn't recommend throwing out too many swords unless Tao is really far away, as she can easily punish you/push you to the corner/lock you down/kill you if you miss since she can approach Lambda so easily. Spike chaser is pretty nice in this matchup as a zoning tool, as it can prevent certain outlets of approach and making Lambda's job a bit easier. Also as for palettes, I like her "B" palette. (The Red armor with white hair) (The one in my avatar, shoutouts to SolarMisae :3)
  8. Netplay tournament? Sounds like a lot of fun
  9. Depending on the combo or neutral game situation I alternate between 2147D, 21478D, 214789D, and 9214D for the TK Crescent input lol
  10. I don't know about the rest of the US but typically between 7PM-10PM PST(I think that's the timetable on west coast, not sure) I can typically find a few people to join my room within a few minutes of me making one. They're mostly people on the western US and/or people in Hawaii, but they're fairly active around that time.
  11. GGs to itsme and thienkieutam
  12. Jin is probably the one matchup that I'm not 100% free to, and that's because I've played so many matches against ShelledMenace's Jin. Now I'm about 95% free to that matchup.
  13. Well since I wasn't there I can only add a little bit of input... But I really enjoyed watching the event (all of the games were fun to watch), and think it was really cool how you had the stream monster event thing. :D
  14. I knew it was a good idea to check Lambda general before I went out to enjoy the holiday. GG Toan that quote is godlike.
  15. Oh this is kinda random but GGs the other day. You don't suck o_o lol
  16. GGs to Shelled, Nemesis, Gary Oak, ThreeSidedDice and anybody else I played that I forgot to mention.
  17. lolol I still need to play you too Toan :3
  18. Haha, at least you can get Ctrlaltwtf to play with you. He has evolved into a whole new level of salt against me that he refuses to come out of training mode to play me if I go into his room. However if someone else comes into his room while I'm in it, he comes out of training mode and kicks me so he can play with the other. :3
  19. GGs to everyone I played yesterday/today.
  20. Gonna hop on XBL for a while if anybody wants to play.
  21. GGs yesterday to everyone I played (StayFree, Tofurr, Thienkieutam, Oso, Delta, and others whose names escape me at the moment). Will get on later after I finish this paper, if anybody wants to play. I wanna try a new oki setup on other people and see if people immediately burst when I go for it again :D
  22. I really like 3C(3?)(CH)->236D->214D->5DD->236C->Stuff It's pretty decent damage but nothing really special.
  23. Poor Vineeth :c I hope you guys dominate in Japan though.
  24. Should play more often (and play with me more often) then :3
  25. It should also probably be mentioned that if an opponent is about to die it might be better to go into the burst-safe option (D swords) just to prevent runbacks.
